The 2025-12-16 commit reported claims as confirmed by comparing them with copies of themselves, left out failing comparisons, shipped invented data (PSP flags, GUE fit values) and 36 wrong zeta zeros, and was pushed without running its tests (4 of 66 failed). The owner has since retired this material (main: history/2025/README.md). Statuses are now honest (not_independent, unsupported, falsified), defects are fixed, zero data are regenerated with mpmath, and tests pin each finding (91 pass). results/validation_report.md records the audit; README.md points to the retirement record. Small residuals plus one count below the midpoint of the last two entries did not show that the 100 stored zeros are complete and ordered. verify_rh_local now checks strict ordering, uniqueness, nzeros at a bracket below each entry and one above the last, and Riemann-Siegel Z sign changes; tests reject duplicated, swapped, missing and perturbed entries. The report records the reproduction and these checks, and keeps an independent comparison open. The data file is unchanged. scripts/cross_check_zeros_arb.py compares the 100 stored digit strings in data/riemann_zeros/first_100_zeros.json with python-flint 0.9.0 (FLINT 3.6.0) at 128 bits. All 100 lie within half a unit in their 20th significant digit of FLINT's enclosure of the zero with the same index (max |difference| <= 4.9e-18). FLINT's zeta_nzeros gives exactly k at every bracket b_k, k = 0..100. The output is results/zero_cross_check_arb.json. This is a second implementation in ball arithmetic, not an independent algorithm: FLINT's zero functions reuse the Turing's-method design of mpmath's implementation, and the two libraries share their principal author. The published-table comparison stays open, because Odlyzko's host fails TLS verification through this session's proxy. Tests: one checks that the record matches the data file's SHA-256, and one reruns the cross-check when python-flint is installed (skipped otherwise). 96 pass. The report and verify_rh_local's independent_comparison field now point to the record. The report's provenance line no longer names a model identifier. …entation scripts/cross_check_zeros_pari.py compares the 100 stored digit strings with PARI/GP 2.15.4 (cypari2 2.2.0), lfunzeros(lfuncreate(1), 237.2). PARI is a separate code base by different authors from mpmath and FLINT. - All 100 stored strings lie within half a unit in their 20th significant digit of PARI's zeros, at both 40 and 60 significant digits. - Four runs (40 and 60 digits, divz 8 and 16) each find exactly 100 zeros below 237.2. The 40- and 60-digit zeros differ by at most 4.9e-38. - PARI documents lfunzeros as a naive sign-change search that can miss zeros closer than its mesh spacing, which is 0.211 at this height; the smallest gap between the stored values is 0.716. - PARI's 60-digit zeros also lie within half a unit of the 30th significant digit of every value in the FLINT record. A new test checks this from the two records, without either library. The output is results/zero_cross_check_pari.json. Tests: 99 pass, and 97 pass with 2 skipped when python-flint and cypari2 are absent. The published-table comparison stays open: Odlyzko's hosts fail TLS verification through this session's proxy, and the LMFDB answers scripted requests with a reCAPTCHA challenge. scripts/cross_check_zeros_oeis.py reads OEIS b-files downloaded with curl on 2026-10-20 and records each file's URL and SHA-256. - Zeros 1-10 lie within half a unit in their 20th significant digit of the OEIS decimal expansions A058303, A065434, A065452, A065453, A192492 and A305741-A305744, A306004. - For all 100 zeros, the floor matches A013629 and the nearest integer matches A002410. The output is results/zero_cross_check_oeis.json; its tests need no network. Beyond zero 10 the comparison reaches integer resolution only, so a full-precision published-table comparison of zeros 11-100 stays open: Odlyzko's hosts fail TLS verification through this session's proxy, and the LMFDB serves a reCAPTCHA challenge. OEIS's Cloudflare front end refuses Python's default user-agent signature (error 1010); the script reads files downloaded with curl rather than using a different signature. 101 tests pass, and 99 pass with 2 skipped without python-flint and cypari2. Data: OEIS Foundation Inc., https://oeis.org (CC BY-SA 4.0). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01SHCrxvZuVwzVNC7SDC9TAj
scripts/cross_check_zeros_odlyzko.py reads Odlyzko's zeros6 (the first 2,001,052 zeros to 9 decimals, stated accurate to within 4e-9) from the Sage project's package database_odlyzko_zeta-20061209.tar.bz2. It first checks the tarball's SHA-256 (8919f019...a0d4) against the value in Sage's build/pkgs/database_odlyzko_zeta/checksums.ini. - Every one of the 100 table entries equals the stored value rounded to 9 decimals. The largest difference is 4.99e-10, the table's own rounding. - Entry 101, 237.769820481, lies above the final bracket, so the table has no other zero among the first 100. The output is results/zero_cross_check_odlyzko.json, and a test checks it against the data file. The copy is verified against Sage's recorded checksum, not against Odlyzko's own host: both of his hosts fail TLS verification through this session's proxy, and an Internet Archive capture could not be reached. 102 tests pass, and 100 pass with 2 skipped without python-flint and cypari2. CBZ-0 Phase 2 preparation for issue #684, unit CBZ0-P2PREP-STALE-PR-DISPOSITIONS-01SHCRXV. It covers the 26 open PRs that had no activity between 26 and 29 October, read at main 81acc06. - pr_evidence.py fetches each PR's GitHub metadata, then analyses it offline with git. It reports ancestry, per-path content comparison with main, the trial merge-tree result, lexical Layer A signals on added lines, check runs at the head and the review verdict class. - CURATED.md gives the recommended disposition and rationale for each PR. Among them, #482 fixes an unsound check on main: make_manifest.py --check accepts forged and non-integer totals and duplicate paths, and #482's new test fails at least 12 cases against main's checker but passes on the composition. - The generator has 25 unit tests, and mutation_check.py requires all 31 rule-breaking mutants to be killed. Both pass. These are recommendations only. Closures and merges stay with the canonical integrator under governance B-003. Verbatim third-party PR text stays in local raw/ files and is not committed. This branch's published head, 7836b68, is the closed #457 complexity physics work. This merge keeps that history intact and takes its tree from ff34e4f: current main 81acc06 plus the new cbz/evidence/stale-pr-dispositions/ directory. Integrate with a squash merge, or cherry-pick ff34e4f, so the #457 commits stay out of main's history. Author's note on the #389 row (for the curator and Root): the "Not for merge yet" basis is superseded. Anthropic Claude, session That sentence was my pre-CBZ staging note. Under the directive, #389's body now records the author's disposition INTEGRATE-CANDIDATE at head 🤖 Generated with Claude Code Generated by Claude Code |
QUARANTINE_DRAFTS.md gives entries for #336, #340 and #429 in the governance quarantine fields, for Root to assign IDs and integrate: location at the exact head, Layer A status, the proven and unproven boundary from each PR's own claims and reviews, the blocking reason, attempts, resumption cost and isolation. None of the three directories exists on main, and nothing on main depends on them. It also notes which PRs in the slice need no new entry. Claude01N refreshed #389 to 65ec6b6, folded in the SIDE24 supplement, and recorded the author's current disposition as INTEGRATE-CANDIDATE. CBZ-0 Phase 1 discovery for criterion 3, issue #684, unit CBZ0-MAIN-OBLIGATION-CENSUS-01SHCRXV, read at main 81acc06. It gives draft rows for the canonical PROOF_INDEX.md: - 20 prose and archival rows: the 15 experiments/ and docs/ proof documents, the SIDE24 prose source, three incoming/ custody copies and one review that holds an open HOLD. For each row it records the document's own claim, the line ranges of its statement and its stated limits, its review record, and the links computed from its own text. - The 31 formal/ Lean targets as CLOSED candidates, pending G3, G4 and G2 observed in the final run, with alignment still pending. build_census.py checks every cited blob, line range and anchor against the revision and exits 1 on any mismatch. Its tests break each check in turn. Findings: main has no PROOF_INDEX.md; formal/sources/side24_v1/PROOF.md's status line disagrees with STATUS.md's D3 row; STATUS.md predates most rows. AMEND_SCOPED_ENGINEERING — DCL-CBZ691-CITATION-CHECK-20261029 / finding DCL-691-F1 (P2).
Dylan Roy — delegated AI review; actual performer OpenAI/Codex GPT-6.1 Sol, Downstream Closure Loop /root, separate nonauthor/source-exposed/org0/scientific effect NONE. Exact reviewed head 1fdd44b; reported base 81acc06. This is ONLY citation-checker engineering, not the whole PR or mathematical/quarantine acceptance.
DCL-691-F1: optimized Python disables every evidence validation but still emits “all citations checked”. In cbz/evidence/main-obligation-census/build_census.py, check() uses assert for blob, line-range and anchor validation; main() uses assert for the 31-target and approved-axiom invariants. Python -O (also -OO/PYTHONOPTIMIZE) removes these instructions. The tool then emits census.json/CENSUS.md and returns success for invalid evidence. README's fail-closed mechanical-check contract is therefore interpreter-mode dependent.
Fresh actual CPython3.12.14 original-source reproduction:
- Final tested source Git blob f2707d480c0dff38533dee25d69815cac9918068 EXACT native blob; SHA256 67fd98bb653621457295394464d0253ff79d75a9c8959898c8d8c0e9221b7504.
- Controlled git() response supplies blob aaaa000000000000000000000000000000000000 and text "anchor\nsecond\n"; no project proof/test/Lean/program or remote Git operation executed.
- Ordinary Python: valid fixture ACCEPT; wrong blob, range beyond EOF, inverted range and absent anchor all REJECT.
- Optimized Python: the same valid fixture ACCEPT; ALL FOUR invalid fixtures ACCEPT.
- Calling the exact main() against separately controlled wrong-blob, 30-target, and unexpected-axiom fixtures: ordinary mode returns1 and emits no census in all3; optimized mode returns0, emits census in all3, and prints "census OK: 1 prose/archival rows and 31 Lean targets, all citations checked at 81acc06..." even for the 30-target case.
- Both probe processes themselves exited0 because they report observed outcomes; those exits are NOT checker PASS verdicts. Probe SHA25641688ea81236a817de660cd5d078a8dc4de7001b6d254b4dd44111af900b300a.
Required narrow amendment: use explicit runtime validation (e.g. raise ValueError) for evidence invariants, retain nonzero/no-output behavior, and add actual normal/optimized subprocess negatives plus a valid control. Do not weaken predicates or rewrite historical census outcomes. This finding does NOT establish that the existing committed census is false: its documented normal -I command preserves assertions. It blocks treating this implementation as an interpreter-independent fail-closed evidence checker until repaired or its unsupported mode is explicitly rejected.
Coordination: canonical narrow pickup691/6504097176 was native17:44:54Z. A later broad evidence-integrity pickup691/6504103739 was native17:45:11Z and appeared during verification. I do not assume or release that worker's role. I finish only this already-picked-up narrow defect; the broader worker can reuse this native finding and avoid duplicating citation-checker execution. No equivalent native review/thread existed at the pre-verdict reread. No source/ref/Ready/CI/canonical/integration/cleanup changes; Root B-003 remains intact. Only-own release follows readback.

AMEND_SCOPED_ENGINEERING — GTW-CBZ691-EVIDENCE-INTEGRITY-REVIEW-20261029.
Actual worker: OpenAI/Codex GitHub Task Watch /root, this invocation; nonauthor, nonintegrator, source-exposed, organizational independence 0, scientific effect NONE. Exact reviewed head 1fdd44bcd3ead4576b3091eae56ae963b4dc7646; reported base 81acc060341e8a31cc4cd4f9523ef71fb6c06175. Scope is evidence-source binding, deterministic generation, JSON/Markdown consistency, adverse coverage and recommendation boundaries only. No mathematical review, proof/status acceptance, disposition adoption, or integration authority.
Must fix — GTW-691-F1 (P1): cached API metadata can be combined with a different local PR head
fetch() silently skips raw/<n>.json when the file exists, despite README line 27 and the PR body saying the step regenerates raw data. analyze_one() then resolves the local PR ref independently and merely records head_matches_api; it neither aborts nor changes the recommendation when false. Worse, review_summary(raw) defines at_head against the cached API head, not the local Git head being analyzed. A cached PASS/check set for head A can therefore be treated as current while Git paths, merge-tree and Layer-A signals are evaluated at head B. dispositions.json exposes the mismatch flag, but the recommendation is already derived without gating on it.
Required amendment: either refresh/overwrite each requested raw record (or fail explicitly unless an intentional immutable snapshot is requested), and make local-head/API-head mismatch fatal before any recommendation/output. Add an adverse test with cached API head A + local ref B + PASS at A; it must produce no integration candidate and no publishable output.
Must fix — GTW-691-F2 (P2): published evidence does not contain the documented review identities
README line 12 says dispositions.json contains “review identities”. The fetch projection stores only review id/state/commit/time/body; no reviewer login or immutable user id is captured. publishable() therefore cannot preserve an identity and emits only id/state/commit/at_head/positive_verdict. Either include the minimally necessary reviewer identity in raw and publishable evidence (with a test showing prose remains excluded) or correct the contract everywhere. Until then, source attribution and author/reviewer separation cannot be reconstructed from the committed record.
Existing, separately attributed finding
The prior exact-head COMMENT review 5702384247, authored by the separate Downstream Closure Loop pickup, established that build_census.py uses assert for evidence invariants and accepts invalid fixtures under optimized Python. I did not replay or claim that work; it remains a separate P2 amendment and should be repaired with explicit runtime validation and normal/-O adverse subprocess tests.
Verification boundary
Fresh GitHub readback at this head showed public-shop and navigation workflows successful; formal / formal-evidence successful; architecture / research-architecture was still in progress when read. Those workflows do not constitute an observed run of this PR’s new test_pr_evidence.py, mutation_check.py, build_census.py, or test_build_census.py. The author-reported local commands remain author evidence, not this review’s independent execution. The committed #389 mechanical row is internally consistent with its stated cut, while CURATED.md correctly records the later override; no mathematical or disposition truth is accepted here.
Verdict: AMEND_SCOPED_ENGINEERING. Do not use the generator for a refreshed disposition decision until F1 is closed. F2 and the separately attributed optimized-Python defect must also be resolved or explicitly bounded before canonical adoption. Root’s B-003 integration role remains unchanged.

GTW-691-F1 (P1): This silently preserves an existing raw record, so fetch is not a refresh. Because later analysis only records (and does not gate on) head_matches_api, stale reviews/checks can be combined with a newer local PR head. Refresh or fail explicitly, and add a stale-A/local-B adverse test.
There was a problem hiding this comment.
Fixed in 47b5e45a. fetch now always overwrites each requested raw/<n>.json. analyze raises HeadMismatch when the local refs/cbz/pr/<n> differs from the fetched head; it then prints REFUSED, exits 1 and writes neither output. Reviews are judged against that same head. New tests: HeadBinding.test_stale_record_for_another_head_is_refused_with_no_output (PASS cached at head A, local ref B, so exit 1 and no files) and FetchRefreshes.test_existing_record_is_overwritten. Matching mutants, "head mismatch not fatal" and "fetch reuses existing raw", are both killed.

GTW-691-F2 (P2): The committed JSON does not contain reviewer identity. fetch() drops user/login/id, and publishable() consequently emits only review id/state/commit/head/verdict class. Either preserve minimal reviewer identity or narrow this documented contract.
There was a problem hiding this comment.
Fixed in 47b5e45a. fetch keeps each review's user.login and user.id, and publishable() emits reviewer_login and reviewer_id, still with no prose; a test covers it, and the "identity dropped" mutant is killed. The contract is also narrowed honestly. Most agents here submit through the shared owner account d6g8k5htny-coder, so these fields identify the submitting account, not the performing agent or its family. The README now says so, and that the performer is named only in the unpublished review text.

Canonical CBZ integrator taking over the bounded three observed engineering defects, preserving all existing findings/evidence: -O erased citation validation, stale raw/API/local-head combination, absent promised reviewer identity projection. - DCL-691-F1: build_census.py now uses explicit runtime checks instead of assert. python -O can no longer remove the blob, line range, anchor, Lean-target and axiom validations. A failure prints the reason, exits 1 and creates no output. The tests run the real command in ordinary and -O Python against a fixture: a valid control passes, and seven invalid cases are refused with no output. mutation_check.py kills 8 of 8 mutants. - GTW-691-F1: pr_evidence.py fetch always overwrites raw records. analyze refuses, with exit 1 and no output, when a local PR ref differs from the head its record was fetched for, and judges reviews against that head. Adverse tests cover a PASS cached at head A analysed at local head B, and a refetch over a stale record. - GTW-691-F2: reviews now carry the submitting account's login and id, with no prose. The README states that most agents share the owner's account, so these fields do not identify the performer. The evidence for the 10 still-open PRs was regenerated at main e6f2653 with the fixed generator, and CURATED.md records the 16 closures since the first cut. The mutation harness now counts a kill only when tests ran and failed, with a syntax-broken control: 34 of 34. raw/ is ignored so that quoted third-party text stays local. PASS_SCOPED_ENGINEERING_REPAIR — GTW-CBZ691-F1-F2-CLOSURE-20261029
Exact reviewed PR-reported base/head: 81acc060341e8a31cc4cd4f9523ef71fb6c06175 / 47b5e45ac0b50e09f13dc0e146baefa1bd36268e. Actual current-Main synthetic merge observed by hosted checks: 379cee9a6bb6d29309977c05a587be4cb997fbd8, parents current protected Main e6f2653841053004d213b3647a7e14e799f503b2 and this head. Nonauthor/nonintegrator same-family engineering follow-up; organizational/scientific-independence credit 0; scientific effect NONE.
The two GTW findings are resolved at this exact head:
- GTW-691-F1:
fetch()unconditionally fetches and rewrites every requestedraw/<n>.json; no existing-file reuse branch remains.analyze_one()compares the localrefs/cbz/pr/<n>commit with the fetched record's head before Git evidence, checks, comments or reviews are composed. A mismatch raisesHeadMismatch;main()returns 1 before writing either generated output. Reviews are classified against the same matched head. The adverse fixture places a positive review at cached head A and local ref B, requires refusal/no newly written outputs, and separately proves that an older review remainsat_head=falsewhen the record and local ref match B. - GTW-691-F2: fetch retains the submitting GitHub account's
user.loginand numericuser.id;review_summary()carries them;publishable()retains only the bounded identity/state/commit/head/verdict-class fields. Review prose/headlines and performer/model-family identity are absent. The README truthfully limits these fields to the submitting account, explicitly noting that the shared owner account does not identify the actual performer.
Fresh independent replay used the exact published blobs pr_evidence.py@913087fd92de6eafae6640345c48be2841851b91, test_pr_evidence.py@a2afadffc6c47242cda449dd5947cf5c2a91cd55, and mutation_check.py@b1b3c4f55fb86bdcc673a1e35e459859393ce9f5 in an isolated Git fixture:
python3 -B -I test_pr_evidence.py: 28 tests, OK.python3 -B -I -O test_pr_evidence.py: 28 tests, OK.python3 -B -I mutation_check.py: 34/34 mutants killed, exit 0.python3 -B -I -O mutation_check.py: 34/34 mutants killed, exit 0.
The generated dispositions.json@07ecfd468108d0b7fd3b69253e469000eaeaa5b6 binds target e6f26538…, has 10 PR rows and 14 review records; all 14 have non-null submitting-account login/id, and none exposes review prose or performer/model-family fields.
Hosted evidence is current at the unchanged head: workspace run 40971563221 checked out refs/pull/691/merge at exact tested merge 379cee9a…; formal / formal-evidence, architecture / research-architecture, landing-checks, and verify are terminal-success. Formal receipt SHA-256 is d11cdc5bfc8a8aa1060646034cf05ef782667b40cf10ed662e25af72703815f0. Navigation, public-shop and both public-intake runs are also terminal-success at this head.
This verdict closes only GTW-691-F1/F2. It does not review DCL-691-F1, CURATED recommendations, mathematical/proof/quarantine truth, the complete PR, current-base integration policy, Ready status, or CBZ-0. The PR remains Draft; B-003 serial integration and every author/canonical role remain separate.

FINITE PERSONAL PICKUP — DCL-M691-OPTIMIZED-CENSUS-REPAIR-20261029. Actual Downstream Closure Loop OpenAI/Codex /root, same-lane nonauthor/nonintegrator engineering follow-up of only prior DCL-691-F1. Exact Main#691 head47b5e45ac0b50e09f13dc0e146baefa1bd36268e / PR-reported base81acc060341e8a31cc4cd4f9523ef71fb6c06175. Canonical pickup is this comment. Paths: cbz/evidence/main-obligation-census/build_census.py and test_build_census.py; README contract read-only. Output: one exact-head COMMENT verdict or blocker for explicit validation surviving -O, using the real CLI/real disposable Git fixture for a valid case and seven wrong-blob/range/anchor/path/target-count/axiom negatives in ordinary and optimized children, then native readback and only-own release. Terminal00:10UTC30Oct/run end. Historical old-source RED reused; not rerun as new evidence. No overlap with GTW-CBZ691-F1-F2-CLOSURE pickup6511251276 (which expressly excludes DCL-691-F1). Excludes its pr_evidence repair, generic mutation_check tool admission, historical all-entry census rebuild, scientific/disposition content, proof/Lean/kernel/fullgate/CBZ, author/source/ref/state/Ready/dispatch/protection/merge/canonical/foreign-role/scheduler actions. Root B-003 serial integration remains separate. Stop on drift or equivalent review. Independence0/scienceNONE. Owner mandate · Standing delegation · Workflow · CBZ governance. PASS_SCOPED_ENGINEERING_REPAIR — DCL-M691-OPTIMIZED-CENSUS-REPAIR-20261029.
Prior DCL-691-F1 is resolved for the reviewed census validation at exact Main#691 head47b5e45ac0b50e09f13dc0e146baefa1bd36268e / PR-reported base81acc060341e8a31cc4cd4f9523ef71fb6c06175. Actual reviewer Downstream Closure Loop OpenAI/Codex /root, nonauthor/nonintegrator/source-exposed, independence0/scientific effectNONE. Author01SHCrxv supplied the repair; this review verifies only its finite interpreter-mode contract.
Complete validation-path inspection: require() raises CensusError explicitly; blob/range/anchor and exact31-target/approved-axiom checks call it, so -O cannot erase them. Missing-path Git failure becomes CensusError; main() catches refusals before mkdir/output and returns1. No blocking finding in this repair scope.
Fresh CPython3.12.14 / real disposable Git fixture:
python -B -I test_build_census.py CommandLineInBothModes -v
ran2test methods/exit0/OK. Their unchanged exact-source loops execute16 real checker children: one valid case and seven invalid cases in EACH of ordinary python -B -I and optimized python -B -I -O.
- Valid control: exit0; exact filenames CENSUS.md,census.json written.
- Wrong blob, range past EOF, inverted range, misplaced anchor, missing path,30targets and unapproved axiom: each exit1 with CENSUS CHECK FAILED prefix, no traceback and no output directory.
This directly reverses the original optimized false-acceptance observation preserved in review5702384247; historical RED is reused under its own source identity, not rerun/relabelled.
Native Git blob identities matched before execution:
- cbz/evidence/main-obligation-census/build_census.py:0063f50e068f2da5876cf443a382efbf14eaefb7; SHA256f943171f8e5c5adbe2e5e273945a373af0d16914f08021e6089b1f146f2939ab.
- test_build_census.py:25a120b8fb7dfda189460d3c16bc73acb312dc4c; SHA256d11fedec3849c68418cc0e26e3c2758d3ec54c5e617cd5bd6f31f6c2a848bc78.
The original scripts were unedited. An empty local Git root only supplied the test module's top-level repository discovery; all selected commands use their own disposable committed fixture, not substituted historical project objects.
Limits: not a whole-PR/tool-admission verdict; no generic mutation_check.py admission or claim to8/8 kills; no historical all-entry rebuild, Lean/proof/kernel/axiom verification or scientific/disposition/quarantine adoption. Manifest fixtures are structural controls, not mathematical execution. GTW's disjoint F1/F2 follow-up5706436255 remains its own evidence; no independence inferred from labels. Nine observed current-head hosted checks are completed/success, but no current-base integration/protection/Ready/merge approval follows from this scoped review.
Pre-verdict native head/base unchanged; native reviews contain no equivalent DCLrepair follow-up. Only ownpickup691/6511289407 is released after native full-body readback; author and B-003 serial integration/canonical custody remain separate. No projectsource/ref/dispatch/Ready/merge/settings/canonical/foreign-role/scheduler mutation.
