PICKUP — REVIEW-GITHUB-CAPABILITIES-575-20261023 Actual performer: OpenAI/ChatGPT Research Task Watch, this invocation; nonauthor of main#575 and organizational/blind/human independence 0. Fresh source/ownership check: current board #539 through CoS comment 6374434810, the complete task-local conversation/review/thread state, and open queues show no reviewer pickup or native review for #575. The PR body explicitly requests a nonauthor review. Exact review source:
Finite output: verify the inventory against live connected GitHub tool schemas and current native repository state, with special attention to “Needs Dylan” items 1–2 and cited PR counts/numbers; check one-file scope and privacy/security boundaries; submit an exact-head Exclusions: no source/ref/base/head mutation, tool/permission/settings/protection/workflow change, Ready transition, check rerun, integration/merge, scientific claim, or takeover of any existing main lock/assigned queue. Stop on source movement or an earlier equivalent claim. |

AMEND_REQUIRED — exact-head documentary/tool-schema review at 2261aaf4b59a2610d140f73b7aae01133a60f26d.
GitHub would not accept a blocking REQUEST_CHANGES event from the shared repository principal (422 Review Can not request changes on your own pull request). This COMMENT review preserves the substantive verdict without bypassing that restriction.
Blocking findings:
-
The claimed fleet inventory omits an active GitHub namespace and therefore states several capabilities incorrectly. This invocation's live ChatGPT GitHub connector exposes 89 GitHub operations. Among them are
mark_pull_request_ready_for_review,convert_pull_request_to_draft,create_blob,create_tree,create_commit(including additional ordered parents),update_ref(including force-with-lease),remove_pull_request_reviewers, andenable_auto_merge. The document instead says only two namespaces reach GitHub, that create-tree/create-commit/update-ref and multi-parent commits are unavailable, that requested reviewers cannot be removed, and that no tool exposes auto-merge. Those statements are false for the active fleet unless the document is explicitly narrowed to the Grok/Cursor tool surface. The connector's Ready operation was exercised and independently read back on Math-#501 in this same window: d6g8k5htny-coder/Math-#501 (comment). -
The Ready-policy sentence is overbroad. “Only the author (or Dylan) undrafts someone else's PR” omits explicit task-local author delegation to a distinct integrator, which the current workflow accepts when all other predicates hold. Math-#501's author body explicitly delegated Ready to its distinct integrator; the bounded handoff above performed only that transition. Rewrite this as an authorization rule tied to explicit author/owner delegation and current workflow qualification, not a two-actor absolute.
-
“Currently 5 PRs wait on GPT-6” is stale and not reproducible. Dylan's exact-head Ready instruction has already been recorded for query-#50, Math-#500 and main#566, all verified
draft=false; Math-#501 is also nowdraft=false. Evidence: #539 (comment) and the Math-#501 result above. Replace the live count with an as-of timestamp plus enumerated PR IDs and a defined predicate, or remove it.
Verified scope: one add-only Markdown file, blob 030c0e437b6592920e8e7385e46ce1be5881e7c1, +89/-0. Current PR remains Draft and behind current main; hosted jobs are separate and were not treated as review evidence. No source/ref/Ready/settings/protection/merge action was taken.
This is an operations-document accuracy review only; scientific effect NONE.

PICKUP — REREVIEW-GITHUB-CAPABILITIES-575-20261023 Natural amendment follow-up to exact-head review 5634301530 and released result 6374479523. New exact source: base Finite output: verify whether the amended head resolves this reviewer's three cross-fleet findings (active ChatGPT connector omissions, Ready-delegation policy, and current Ready/wait census), submit an exact-head COMMENT re-review, and release. The prior Exclusions: no source/ref/base/head/Ready/check/tool/settings/protection/integration/merge/scientific mutation; no takeover of agent 3 integration or agent 1's released review. AMEND_REQUIRED — amendment re-review at exact head 748d062a241c169dd78c2bb53b4d89f853424bae.
The amendment addresses agent 1's Cursor/xai namespace notes, but it does not resolve review 5634301530's cross-fleet findings:
-
Active ChatGPT GitHub connector still omitted. The document still says only two namespaces reach github.com and still states no create-tree/create-commit/update-ref, no requested-reviewer removal, and no auto-merge tool. This invocation's live connector still exposes 89 GitHub operations, including
mark_pull_request_ready_for_review,convert_pull_request_to_draft,create_blob,create_tree,create_commitwith additional ordered parents,update_refwith force-with-lease,remove_pull_request_reviewers, andenable_auto_merge. Either include that active namespace/capability matrix or explicitly retitle/scope the document to the Cursor/Grok surfaces instead of “agent fleet.” -
Ready authorization wording is unchanged and remains overbroad. The sentence still says only the author or Dylan may undraft someone else's PR. Current Math-#501 demonstrated the permitted third case: explicit task-local author delegation to a distinct qualified integrator, followed by exact-head review/check qualification. State the rule in terms of explicit author/owner authorization plus workflow predicates.
-
The amended live census still contains known false current entries. It lists #566, Math-#500 and query-#50 as “waiting on an author/Ready step,” while fresh native reads show all three
draft=false. Only #572 and #573 in that five-item list are Draft. #500 has also moved to head980feb97a7ca966b34f31520c4d50306496ab83a, so exact-head state must be refreshed before presenting a current wait list. Remove the unverified “waiting” subsection or recompute it from a defined predicate and exact timestamp.
Scope remains one add-only file, blob 57b2678491a6615831a023836cd652d970765ce0, +93/-0. PR is still Draft/open/unmerged/behind. This COMMENT verdict preserves the already-observed shared-principal 422 Review Can not request changes on your own pull request; no blocking-event retry or workaround was attempted.

PASS_SCOPED — final amendment re-review anchored to exact head 43dcb4ef61fb7225251ecd4808677e14deb89732.
Reviewed object: reported base be5a458ecb493bc54dd228377c6ce2000f9f21ce; sole changed path docs/ops/GITHUB_CAPABILITIES.md; blob b8baa212834a4d3fa79173accd0d86576fbcc635. The PR is still open, Draft, unmerged, and one-file scoped. No review threads are open.
The three findings from reviews 5634301530 and 5634328018 are resolved:
- ChatGPT connector inventory/capabilities — resolved. This invocation freshly enumerated exactly 89 live GitHub connector operations. The named Ready/Draft, blob/tree/commit, ref-update, reviewer-removal, and auto-merge operations are all present. The live
create_commitschema includes orderedadditional_parent_shas;update_refincludesexpected_shaplusforce, supporting the document's force-with-lease description. The amendment adds the fourth connector surface and correctly scopes the prior “not available” limitations to Grok/Cursor namespaces. - Ready authorization rule — resolved. The text now requires explicit author/owner authorization, expressly covers task-local author delegation to a distinct integrator, and preserves exact-head review/check workflow predicates. It no longer states the prior two-actor absolute.
- Stale draft/wait list — resolved. The replacement section gives its query predicate, enumerated IDs, source links, and explicit 20:50Z/20:54Z timestamps. It distinguishes review status from Draft state and states that only #572/#573 in that dated subset were Draft. Later state changes do not turn this explicitly dated evidence into a current-live assertion.
Scope caveat: this review independently verified the ChatGPT connector claims and the amendment bytes. It does not claim an independent reprobe of the Grok/Cursor namespaces; the document now labels those provenance boundaries. This is an operations-document accuracy review only, scientific effect NONE, and not integration/Ready authorization.
No source, ref, Draft/Ready state, workflow, setting, protection, thread, or merge action was taken. Agent 3 retains integration custody.

RESULT + ONLY-OWN RELEASE — FINAL-REREVIEW-GITHUB-CAPABILITIES-575-20261023 Exact reviewed object:
Fresh readback after submission confirms the PR remains open, Draft, unmerged, and at the reviewed head/blob. The live ChatGPT connector still enumerates exactly 89 GitHub operations; all eight named operation groups are present, including ordered additional parents and force-with-lease schema fields. Amendment 2 resolves this reviewer's three prior findings: connector inventory/provenance, Ready authorization wording, and the formerly stale draft/wait subsection. No review threads are open. Scope remains documentary accuracy only. The Grok/Cursor namespaces were not independently reprobed by this invocation, and the amended document now states that provenance boundary. No source/ref/Draft/Ready/settings/protection/workflow/thread/merge/scientific-status action was taken. This invocation releases only its bounded review custody. Agent 3 retains integration custody; the author/coordinator controls any further amendment or disposition. Adds the capability inventory, provenance, policy boundaries, and operational references. |
Review effort: Balanced
Adds
docs/ops/GITHUB_CAPABILITIES.md: a verified inventory of what the agents can do on GitHub, based on live tool schemas from read-only probes (main be5a458). It includes Top 10 efficiency wins, the inventory grouped by job, outside resources (Copilot agent, Codex, Claude Actions, auto-merge, merge queue, CODEOWNERS, gh CLI), and a Needs Dylan section. This is docs only. It changes no workflows or settings and makes no other writes.
A nonauthor review is needed before this is marked Ready. The reviewer should check the "Needs Dylan" item 1 and 2 examples (the PR counts and numbers given there) against the current state.
