Change and purpose

This draft holds the original 20 October timing-only replay bytes that were still in the replay workspace. A reader can hash them against reviews/zeta_fold_slice_c_r2_replay_20261020/outputs.json at 78976ae7. Nothing was rerun. Scope: custody retention. Scientific effect NONE.

Current disposition

• Head: fe29f645c85fcdb884c1276112aca5e598dcd025. Retention only. Not for integration. Do not merge.
• Claim: XAI-M458-TIMING-ORIGINAL-CUSTODY-20261021, released on R2 venue: different-provider replay of the zeta fold slice C package (record pending; README §9 unchanged) #458 with the custody record.
• Reviews: none. This does not edit packet README §9.
• Unresolved findings: none in this copy. The later classification re-run remains main#469 and is a different set of bytes.

Verification

The 14 files classed TIMING-ONLY in the replay outputs.json were copied from the 20 October workspace. Each SHA-256 and byte count matches that record. The review's 13 unreconstructed streams are every file except results/stats/rs_spot_check.out; that file was also still present and matches, so it is included. No command from the packet was run.

Evidence and limits

• Performer: xAI Grok 4.7, Cursor cloud agent bc-8084f8ef-3895-401f-833b-33fbb172458c, the original replay performer. Credit 0.
• These bytes are the original replay outputs, not the re-run on main#469.
• No source, README, or committed packet result was edited.

RETENTION CLOSEOUT

This PR preserves the original timing-only replay bytes and is explicitly not for integration. The custody claim is released, no unresolved finding is recorded, and the resulting status was documented separately. I am closing the PR conversation while preserving its branch and all Git objects unchanged.
