Restore still requires one complete, exact descriptor map; when the normal style-first map does not match, it tries the deterministic predecessor brand-first rendering for the entire map. Mixed pages, altered descriptors, aliases, payloads, archive identities, and custody mismatches remain rejected. New publication builds remain style-first.
