@cursor RECIPROCAL REVIEW REASSIGNMENT for observer agent bc-9142fddf-0d94-5ecb-a764-00d3fba0c5d9. Dylan asks every participating model to review another agent and idle reviews to receive real work. AMEND for the Section 9 interface of the OpenAI D1 parent at main#63: the continuous-cylinder to Borel marked Kac-Rice extension, with the global elder convention and measurability. The claim and the full verdict are on draft PR #112. The parent proof and the scientific registers were not edited. The exact source was obtained. It is 40261 bytes with SHA256 The ordinary superlevel elder rule is the one written in the proof: the path from the maximum must reach a strictly higher point, the empty case is the essential maximum, and on the Morse distinct-critical-value locus the mark selects the index-(d-1) death saddle. Section 9 uses that global Borel mark. It does not substitute the local cap event. The imported citation does not support the step it is asked to support. Theorem 7.1 of arXiv:2304.07424v3 is an i.i.d. sum theorem and ends at the unweighted formula. The weighted identity in that paper is Theorem 6.1, which requires lower semicontinuity, and the elder indicator is not lower semicontinuous. The author's own monotone-class extension is the right repair, and I do not have a counterexample, but the writeup never names the regular conditional law on C^2 or the monotone-class hypotheses. Those sentences, and a citation of Theorems 2.2 and 6.1, are the amendment. The near-diagonal power count (d-1)+3-(d+3)+2=1 checks. Sections 3 and 5, Theorem A, the cap theorem, and equation (15.2) were not accepted. The full-field residual-independence fallback stays unclaimed. |

SCOPE CLAIM before analytic work. Observer agent bc-9142fddf-0d94-5ecb-a764-00d3fba0c5d9 (Cursor cloud, model Grok 4.7 / xAI). This session is not OpenAI and does not claim organizational independence from Cursor; it does claim a different provider from the OpenAI author of the D1 parent. Exact scope claimed, and nothing else: bounded nonauthor review of the OpenAI D1 parent named by main#63, source proof SHA256 Source bytes have not been read yet. Tests and hashes will not be treated as acceptance. The parent proof and scientific registers will not be edited. If the exact source cannot be obtained, the verdict will be the custody blocker, not an analytic ACCEPT. Exposure at claim time: issue #63 body and its five comments, including the Drive proof and capsule links. No vault browse. |
Verdict: AMENDInterface reviewed: Section 9 of the OpenAI D1 parent at main#63, the continuous-cylinder to Borel marked Kac-Rice extension, together with the global ordinary superlevel elder convention and its measurability. Coordination slot (B). One verdict for this interface: AMEND. The elder convention and the off-diagonal intensity identity are repairable. The cited imported theorem does not state the identity Section 9 uses. That is an amend-the-interface defect, not a counterexample to the elder rule, and not an ACCEPT. No capsule test was run; a hash match is custody, not acceptance. Provenance

with the empty supremum equal to -infinity. The strict height inequality is the elder rule: the path must reach a strictly older, higher feature. An essential maximum has no such path and is excluded. On the Morse distinct-critical-value locus, Kac-Rice evaluates the mark only at gradient zeros, so The in-project cap theorem is a hypothesis of Theorem A (Section 8, lines 296), which forces the partner to be the cylinder saddle on Section 8 lines 284-288 gives a Borel representation of Imported Kac-Rice hypothesis: the cited theorem is the wrong oneSection 9 line 304 says Armentano-Azais-Leon arXiv:2304.07424v3, Theorem 7.1, gives the identity for bounded nonnegative continuous weights in the location and an additional Gaussian field mark. Theorem 7.1 of that v3 does not say this. It assumes
The weighted identity in that paper is Theorem 6.1. The weight The elder indicator is an equality of heights plus a global path condition. It is not lower semicontinuous on Borel extension: the closures are not writtenOn a compact pair domain For a bounded continuous function of finitely many fixed evaluations through order two, jointly Gaussian with those gradients, the weighted identity is the usual regression form: put the cylinder function inside the conditional expectation. That is the continuous-cylinder base. It is true for this field. It is not what Theorem 7.1 states. The passage from that algebra to bounded Borel marks, including the elder indicator, is the author's own monotone-class step (lines 304-305). The shape is right, and I do not have a counterexample, but two closures are missing from the text:

@cursor SUCCESSOR REVIEW — your Section 9 AMEND (comment5839550742) has an author-side additive repair, not a frozen-body edit: MathPR47 head1a3afa272e5733bf7d829f6f88f041ac282c6434, reviews/d1_borel_kac_rice_amend_20260925/AMENDMENT.md. The successor review is posted on draft PR #112. The amendment file was not edited, and the residual-independence fallback was not started. Math- PR 47 head Reviewer: Cursor cloud agent The successor as a whole stays AMEND.
Theorem 7.1 is no longer used for the elder-weighted identity, and the split among Theorem 2.2, Theorem 6.1, and this note is right. The remaining defect is the claim that cylinder weights (C1) already satisfy Theorem 6.1(b). That hypothesis is weak-(C^0) lower semicontinuity in an auxiliary field. A (C^2) derivative functional is not weakly lower semicontinuous on the scalar field. The repair is to name the auxiliary field as the 2-jet in (C^0), as in the paper's own Hessian example. |

SECTION 9 DOWNSTREAM CLOSURE UPDATE — the valid successor is MathPR37, not the later duplicate PR47. Exact accepted source: |
Successor verdict on Math- PR47Head Reviewer: Cursor cloud agent Exposure for this pass: the exact amendment bytes above; the frozen parent bytes already read in the Section 9 review; arXiv:2304.07424v3 Theorems 2.1, 2.2, 6.1 (hypotheses (a)(b)(c) and Remark 8) and Theorem 7.1. Sections 3 and 5, Theorem A, the cap theorem, the normalizer floor, the remainder, and the coefficient were not re-opened and are not accepted. The successor as a whole stays AMEND because the theorem-attribution interface is still AMEND. The other six interfaces are ACCEPT. The full-field residual-independence fallback is not started. 1. Corrected theorem attribution — AMENDSection 10 now has the right hierarchy: Theorem 2.2 for the unweighted Gaussian count on the separated pair domain, Theorem 6.1 only for the continuous cylinder base, Sections 3–7 of this note for the Borel elder mark, parent Section 10 for the diagonal exhaustion. Theorem 7.1 is explicitly not the source of the elder-weighted identity. That part of the earlier defect is repaired. The remaining defect is the sentence that (C1) satisfies Theorem 6.1's hypotheses. Hypothesis (b) in arXiv:2304.07424v3 requires g to be lower semicontinuous in the auxiliary field Z for the weak C^0 topology. A derivative functional that is continuous on C^2(X) is not weakly lower semicontinuous on the scalar field in C^0. The paper's own index example avoids this by taking Z = Y'', a C^0 jet field, and reading g off Z(t). Repair: name Z as the 2-jet field, valued in C^0, and state that each ℓ_i in (C1) is a point evaluation of that jet. Those evaluations are weakly C^0-continuous, so a bounded continuous φ of them is lower semicontinuous in the sense (b) demands. Continuity in the location variable gives (a). Remark 8 covers (c) for the jointly Gaussian nondegenerate jet. Until that sentence is in the file, "Theorem 6.1 applies to (C1)" is not accepted. The identity (KRc) for a finite-dimensional continuous cylinder is still the Gaussian regression identity associated with (K1). This AMEND does not retract that regression identity. It refuses the written claim that 6.1(b) is already satisfied. 2. Gaussian regular conditional kernel on C^2 — ACCEPT(K1) is the correct centered-Gaussian representation: F_{z,v} = F + Cov(F,G_z) Cov(G_z)^{-1}(v-G_z) has law L(F | G_z=v). At v=0 it is the residual field. The parent Section 2 Fourier bound puts the regression in C^2, and a uniform positive covariance floor on the compact set U_ε makes the inverse continuous in z. The resulting map (z,v) ↦ L(F_{z,v}) is a Borel probability kernel on C^2(X), continuous on bounded continuous cylinders. No positive-probability conditioning is used. This accepts the kernel construction under the parent Section 2 nondegeneracy and summability already checked in the previous review. It does not accept Sections 3 or 5. 3. Finiteness of the two off-diagonal measures — ACCEPTOn U_ε, μ_ε and ν_ε are defined by (M1) and (M2). Their total masses both equal E N(U_ε) through (KR0). That expectation is finite: p_{G_z}(0) is bounded on U_ε by the uniform covariance floor, and E[|det H_x det H_y| | G_z=0] is bounded by continuity of the two-point conditional moment on a compact set away from the diagonal, using finite C^2 moments from the same Fourier summability. Finite total mass is what the later monotone-class argument uses. 4. Functional monotone-class generation and closure — ACCEPTGiven (KRc) for every bounded continuous cylinder, those functions lie in H. H is a real vector space of bounded Borel functions, contains the constants because the two total masses agree, and is closed under bounded monotone limits and under uniformly bounded pointwise limits by dominated convergence for finite measures. The stated countable 2-jet evaluations on a dense set D separate points of the separable Banach space C^2(X) and generate its Borel σ-algebra. With a countable base of U_ε they generate the product Borel σ-algebra of the Polish product. The bounded continuous cylinders form a multiplicative algebra. The functional monotone-class theorem yields (M3): every bounded Borel mark, including the elder mark, integrates equally under μ_ε and ν_ε. This accepts the closure structure. It does not rewrite Theorem 6.1(b), and it does not attribute (M3) to the external paper. 5. Variable-endpoint elder and type mark — ACCEPTThe minimax d_f(x), with the empty supremum equal to -∞, is the ordinary superlevel elder height. {d_f(x)>a} has a strict path witness, so some positive rational margin remains. A finite atlas, rational vertices, rational clearances, and a short chart segment from the variable x produce a countable Borel test. The same margin keeps the endpoint inequality f(γ(1))>f(x). Evaluation (y,f)↦f(y) is continuous, so {d_f(x)=f(y)} is Borel in (x,y,f). Hessian evaluation is continuous, and {H<0} and {index=d-1} are Borel. The product (E1) is a bounded Borel function on U_ε×C^2(X). On the parent's Morse distinct-critical-value locus, (E1) at gradient zeros is the finite ordinary elder-death pair, and the essential maximum is the empty-path case. That identification was already checked. The cap event G_r is not used. Theorem A and the cap theorem stay unaccepted. 6. Height disintegration and canonical version — ACCEPTOn U_ε the list (f(x),f(y),∇f(x),∇f(y)) is a nondegenerate finite jet by the parent Section 2 argument, so the conditional law of the two heights under F_{z,0} is a nondegenerate Gaussian. Its density is the continuous Schur-complement density. Disintegrating (M2) multiplies the full-pin density by E[W | pins] for candidates and by E[W 1_{elder} | pins] for selected pairs. The factor |det H_x det H_y| sits once inside W. (K1), followed by the same regression on the two height coordinates, is a canonical version at every imposed height. The identity does not depend on a height-null-set modification. Writing the selected density as the candidate density times p_r is the definition of p_r when the candidate conditional expectation is positive. This accept does not accept Z_r>0, the normalizer floor, or Sections 3 and 5. 7. Imported near-diagonal monotone exhaustion — ACCEPTThe bounded-Borel identity on each U_ε, nonnegative integrands, and ε↓0 give monotone convergence up to the set of distinct ordered pairs. The diagonal is excluded. The C r dr majorant is the parent Section 10 ledger. The exponent check from the previous review stands: (d-1)+3-(d+3)+2=1. This amendment does not re-prove the majorant. Accepting the exhaustion step does not accept the Sections 3 and 5 argument that the constant is finite. What this does not acceptSections 3 and 5, Theorem A, the cap theorem, the normalizer, the unrestricted remainder, and the coefficient formula, including (15.2). No scientific-status flag moves. The full-field residual-independence interface stays unclaimed and unstarted. |

Section 4 of the frozen parent is ACCEPT on all five interfaces. The verdict is on draft PR #112. The source was not edited. The file is still Drive The source law is regression on the 2(d+1) pins. That is six scalar coordinates when d=2 and eight when d=3.
R1 uses a uniform bound on the regression energy, Cauchy–Schwarz on each standardized Fourier coefficient, and Minkowski’s inequality with the summable Fourier series. R2 is Gaussian regression under Q: the residual g_r is orthogonal to every entry of A_r, including derivative evaluations. R3 lifts that from a countable dense set by continuity and rational difference quotients, without an uncountable independence claim. R5 is linear in J_r and ||A_r||_F. No inverse Hessian moment appears. These accepts use four Section 3 imports and do not accept Section 3 itself: uniform boundedness of Sigma_r^{-1} and v_r for small r, uniform bounds on Cov_Q(A_r) and E_Q A_r, and non-duplication of the Hessian entries with the contact jet. Sections 5–7, the normalizer, the cap theorem, Theorem A, Theorem C, equation (15.2), and RN/24-jet status stay outside this verdict. |
Section 4 verdict — residual field after conditioning on A_rFrozen parent Reviewer: Cursor cloud agent Exposure: the same parent bytes as the Section 9 review; Section 4 lines 115–136, the Section 3 sentences those lines cite (93–94, 103–110), and Section 2 lines 59–67. Sections 5–7, the normalizer, the cap theorem, Theorem A, Theorem C, equation (15.2), and RN/24-jet status were not reviewed and are not accepted. The source law is Q_{r,b,k,R}: Gaussian regression on the 2(d+1) physical pins, equivalently on U_r=v_r because T_r is deterministic and invertible (lines 72–94). That is six scalar coordinates when d=2 and eight when d=3. The argument does not use a special count of six. All five interfaces are ACCEPT on the small-r regime where the Section 3 imports below are in force. None is a counterexample or a block. Imported Section 3 covariance hypotheses (not re-proved, not accepted as Section 3)
Section 2 line 61, sum_n sqrt(a_n)(1+|n|)^q < infinity for every q, is the Fourier input. It was already the nondegeneracy input checked for Section 9. It is used again here and is not a new acceptance of Sections 3 or 5. R1 — uniform conditional C^q L^p moments — ACCEPTOn the small-r set, I3a and I3b bound the regression energy v_r^T Sigma_r^{-1} v_r. For a standardized Fourier coefficient ξ, |E_Q ξ| <= sqrt(energy) because Cov(ξ,U) Sigma^{-1} Cov(U,ξ) <= Var(ξ)=1, and the conditional centered variance is at most 1. Every such ξ is therefore Gaussian under Q with L^p norm bounded by a constant that depends on p and the energy bound, uniformly in the mode and in (b,k,R). The C^q norm is at most a constant times sum_n sqrt(a_n)(1+|n|)^q |ξ_n|. Minkowski's inequality and the Section 2 series then give (4.1) for every finite p and every derivative order q. The supremum is over that small-r set, over B, over K, and over frames. The display writes sup_{r,b,k,R}; the bound that is proved is the one on which I3a and I3b hold. R2 — C^4 regression construction and orthogonality — ACCEPT(4.2) is ordinary Gaussian regression under Q. mu_r(z)=E_Q f(z). B_r(z)=Cov_Q(f(z),A_r) Cov_Q(A_r)^{-1}. g_r is the residual. I3c makes the inverse legitimate, so the normal equations give Cov_Q(g_r(z), A_r)=0 for every z. The field has a smooth version (Section 2 line 61). mu_r and B_r are deterministic and smooth in z because they are built from derivatives of K_L. Hence g_r is a C^4-valued random field, which is the regularity (4.3) uses. Differentiating in z passes inside the covariance, so every derivative evaluation D^α g_r(z) is the residual of D^α f(z) and is orthogonal to every entry of A_r. Finite collections of those evaluations are jointly Gaussian with A_r under Q, and the cross-covariance is zero, so each such finite collection is independent of the whole matrix A_r. Line 127 keeps the residual's internal correlations and does not claim that raw Hessian entries, endpoint variables, or sampled derivative maxima are independent of A_r. R3 — countable collection to the smooth field — ACCEPTThe torus has a countable dense set D. The countable family {g_r(q): q in D} is jointly Gaussian with A_r and uncorrelated with it, hence independent of A_r. A continuous version is a measurable function of those values. Rational difference quotients recover derivatives through order 4, so the C^4-valued random element is measurable with respect to that countable sigma-algebra, up to null sets. Independence of g_r from A_r follows. No uncountable family of Gaussians is declared independent in one step. Separability of C^4 and continuity are the whole upgrade. R4 — bounds on B_r through order 4, and residual C^4 moments — ACCEPTD^β B_r for |β|<=4 is a conditional cross-covariance of a derivative of f against A_r, times Cov_Q(A_r)^{-1}. I3c bounds the inverse. Each conditional cross-covariance is the unconditional derivative of K_L minus the pin-regression term. Those kernels are bounded uniformly in z by the Section 2 series, and Sigma_r^{-1} is bounded by I3a, so the derivatives of B_r through order 4 are uniformly bounded on the small-r set. The Fourier coefficients of g_r are centered under Q, with variance at most 1. The same Minkowski-plus-summable-series argument as R1, with regression energy zero because the residual coefficients are centered, gives uniformly bounded L^p norms of ||g_r||_{C^4} for every finite p. R5 — envelope J_r and the M3/M4 bound — ACCEPTJ_r=1+||g_r||_{C^4} in a fixed coordinate norm. R3 makes J_r independent of A_r, because the norm is a measurable function on the separable space C^4. R4 gives sup ||J_r||_p < infinity for every finite p, and J_r>=1. On the cylinder, The name M3/M4 is the cap theorem's name for those derivative suprema. Using the name does not accept the cap theorem. Not acceptedSection 3 is only the import list I3a–I3d. Sections 5–7, the normalizer floor, the cap theorem, Theorem A, Theorem C, equation (15.2), and RN/24-jet status are outside this verdict. No scientific-status flag moves. |

Section 3 of the frozen parent is ACCEPT on all five interfaces. The verdict is on draft PR #112. The source was not edited. The file is still Drive
This discharges the four Section 4 imports. (T_r) is invertible for (r>0) with (|\det T_r|=12 r^{-(d+3)}), and the physical pins hit (v_r) exactly. The (U_3) divided difference cancels the first-order terms and tends to (f_{xxx}). Positive Fourier weights give distinct-jet independence in every frame without torus rotational invariance, so (\Sigma_r^{-1}) and (v_r) are uniformly bounded for small (r). The transverse Hessian entries are new multiindices, and the Schur complement bounds (\mathrm{Cov}_Q(A_r)) above and below with a bounded mean. The density envelope follows from that Gaussian law and survives an eigenvector rotation. Sections 5 and later, the normalizer, the cap theorem, Theorem A, Theorem C, equation (15.2), and RN/24-jet status stay outside this verdict. |
Section 3 verdict — contact covariance behind the Section 4 importsFrozen parent Reviewer: Cursor cloud agent Exposure: the same parent bytes; Section 3 lines 69–113, equations (3.1)–(3.5); Section 2 lines 59–67 only as the positive-spectrum input named below. Sections 5 and later, the normalizer, the cap theorem, the coefficient, and RN status were not reviewed and are not accepted. All five interfaces are ACCEPT. This discharges the Section 4 imports I3a–I3d on the small-r regime. It does not accept Section 4's moment or independence argument again, and it does not accept anything past Section 3. C1 — exact pin transform — ACCEPTOn the axial coordinates a=-r/2, c=r/2, with columns ordered (f(a), f(c), f_x(a), f_x(c)) after a sign-only reordering of (3.1), T_r is block lower-triangular. The value block has determinant 1/r. The derivative block has determinant -12/r^3. Each transverse pair (f_yj(a), f_yj(c)) contributes another factor 1/r, and there are m=d-1 such pairs. Absolute determinant: |det T_r| = (12/r^4) (1/r)^{d-1} = 12 r^{-(d+3)}. Every block is nonzero for r>0, so T_r is invertible. A coordinate permutation changes only the sign. Checked at r=2: axial determinant equals -12/r^4. With the physical pins f(a)=b, f(c)=b-k r^3, and both axial derivatives zero, the image is exactly U0=b-k r^3/2, U1=-k r^2, U2=0, U3=12k, and every transverse row is zero. That is v_r in (3.3), for every r>0, not merely in the limit. Checked at b=3, k=5, r=4. C2 — uniform convergence U_r to U0*, including U3 — ACCEPTThe symmetric Taylor expansion at the midpoint gives U0→f, U1→f_x, U2→f_xx, and the transverse rows →(f_yj, f_xyj). For U3 the order-1 terms cancel: f_x(a)+f_x(c)-2(f(c)-f(a))/r = (r^2/6) f_xxx(0) + O(r^4), so (6/r^2) times that expression tends to f_xxx(0). The divided difference is an average of the third derivative plus an integral remainder. It is not a difference of two uncontrolled copies of f_x. Section 2 line 61 supplies finite L^2 norms of every derivative. Those directional norms are continuous in the frame and O(d) is compact, so the L^2 remainder is O(r^2) with a constant independent of the frame. Thus U_r→U0* in mean square, uniformly over frames. The same uniform L^2 convergence gives uniform convergence of the covariances and of cross-covariances against any fixed finite jet. Stationarity supplies the translation, not rotational invariance of the torus. C3 — uniform positive-definite contact covariance — ACCEPTThis discharges I3a and the small-r half of I3b. The contact list (3.4) is a set of distinct derivative functionals at one point of a rotated frame. Section 2: every Fourier weight a_n is positive, so a vanishing-variance relation is a polynomial P(R^T n)=0 on the integer lattice. A polynomial vanishing on Z^d is identically zero, and R^T is invertible, so P is zero. Linear independence follows in every frame. The argument never maps the lattice to itself and never uses rotational invariance of K_L. Sigma_0(R) is therefore positive definite at every R. Its entries are continuous in R because they are directional derivatives of a smooth stationary covariance. The minimum of λ_min(Sigma_0) on compact O(d) is positive. C2 gives Sigma_r(R)→Sigma_0(R) uniformly in R, so for all sufficiently small r, Sigma_r is uniformly positive definite and Sigma_r^{-1} is uniformly bounded. That is I3a. The explicit formula (3.3) bounds v_r on that same small-r set, uniformly in b∈B, k∈K, and the frame. That is I3b. Distinct orientations are not identified. C4 — append A_r and the Schur complement — ACCEPTThis discharges I3c and I3d. A_r is the transverse Hessian at M, stored as m(m+1)/2 independent entries. At r=0 those multiindices e_i+e_j, with i,j transverse, are disjoint from the contact multiindices {0, e_x, 2e_x, 3e_x, e_j, e_x+e_j}. Section 2 therefore makes the enlarged contact covariance positive definite. No contact functional is repeated. For small r the joint covariance of (U_r, A_r) converges uniformly over frames to that enlarged contact covariance: U_r converges by C2, and derivatives at M, which is distance r/2 from the midpoint, converge by uniform continuity of the smooth covariance. Positive-definiteness is open, so the enlarged covariance is uniformly positive definite for small r. The Gaussian conditional covariance of A_r given U_r is the Schur complement. Uniform positive-definiteness of the joint matrix bounds that complement above and below, independently of the conditioning value (b,k). The conditional mean is Cov(A_r,U_r) Sigma_r^{-1} v_r, and all three factors are uniformly bounded. That is I3c. C5 — Gaussian density envelope (3.5) — ACCEPTUnder Q, A_r is Gaussian on the fixed Euclidean space of symmetric-matrix coordinates, with covariance eigenvalues in a fixed interval [λ_, λ^] and with mean bounded, by C4. Then (det Σ)^{-1/2} is uniformly bounded, and (A-μ)^T Σ^{-1} (A-μ) ≥ c ||A-μ||_F^2 ≥ (c/2)||A||_F^2 - C. Hence density_Q(A) ≤ C_0 exp(-c_0 ||A||_F^2), with C_0,c_0 independent of small r, of the frame, and of (b,k). Conjugation by an eigenvector rotation preserves Frobenius measure up to the fixed coordinate Jacobian on symmetric matrices, so the same envelope survives that orientation change. The law itself is not claimed to be invariant under O(m), and the source says orthogonal invariance of the density is not required. What this does not acceptSection 4's R1–R5 deduction is not re-issued here; its covariance imports I3a–I3d are the part discharged. Sections 5 and later, the normalizer, the cap theorem, Theorem A, Theorem C, equation (15.2), and RN/24-jet status stay outside. No scientific-status flag moves. |

Section 5 of the frozen parent is ACCEPT on all six interfaces. The verdict is on draft PR #112. The source was not edited. The file is still Drive
The gradient pins make the averages of (f_{xx}) and of (\nabla_y f_x) zero, so the endpoint bounds are integral estimates. They do not require a point where every transverse component vanishes at once. The height pins give the weight (u(r-u)) and the exact mean (12k), and the errors are (r M_4/2). The block identity holds at singular (A_i) and at (\alpha_i=0) because both sides are polynomials. The scaled matrices converge to (\mathrm{diag}(-6k,A_0)) and (\mathrm{diag}(6k,A_0)), with mixed entries (\sqrt{r},\beta_i). Both type conditions become ({A_0<0}), so the indicator appears once while both determinants remain. Compactness of the parameters then gives a positive finite floor for (Z_r/r^2). That floor is not the historical value (17/10). Already accepted inputs used here are Section 3 C1–C5 and Section 4’s moment bounds (4.1) and (4.3). The identities (5.1)–(5.5) are proved in Section 5. No new unproved input appears. Section 6 and later, the cap theorem, Theorem A, Theorem C, equation (15.2), and RN/24-jet status stay outside this verdict. |
Section 5 verdict — endpoint identities and the full normalizerFrozen parent Reviewer: Cursor cloud agent Exposure: the same parent bytes; Section 5 lines 138–182, equations (5.1)–(5.5); the Section 3 and Section 4 sentences named below, already reviewed. Section 6 and later, the cap theorem, Theorem A, Theorem C, equation (15.2), and RN status were not reviewed and are not accepted. All six interfaces are ACCEPT. None is a counterexample or a block. Imports already reviewed, versus new inputUsed, and already accepted on this parent:
Proved in Section 5 itself, not previously accepted and not an external citation: the integral identities (5.1)–(5.3), the congruence scaling, and the passage from that scaling to (5.4)–(5.5). No new unproved input. The predecessor cap theorem is not used in Section 5. The historical numerical floor 17/10 is not used. There is no restricted-event normalizer and no extra pin density. N1 — endpoint averages (5.1) — ACCEPTThe axial pins f_x(a)=f_x(c)=0 give ∫_a^c f_xx = 0. With |f_xxx| controlled by the M3-Lipschitz constant, |r f_xx(a)| = |∫_0^r ∫_0^s f_xxx| <= M3 r^2/2, so |alpha_M| <= M3/2, and the same backward integral gives |alpha_S| <= M3/2. The constant 1/2 is the integral of the linear weight and is achieved when f_xxx is constant. The transverse gradient pins give ∫_a^c ∂_x ∇_y f = 0, so the average of the vector ∇_y f_x is zero. The same integral, applied to that vector and its derivative, gives ||beta_i|| <= M3/2. This is not a simultaneous vector Rolle zero. A Rolle argument would ask for one point where every component of ∇_y f_x vanishes at once; that point need not exist, and the proof does not use it. The third line is the fundamental theorem, not the pins: ||A_S-A_M||_op <= r M3 whenever M3 bounds the axial derivative of the transverse Hessian in operator norm. That is the norm already compared with the coordinate C^3 norm in the accepted bound (4.3). N2 — height and third-derivative estimates (5.2) — ACCEPTWith f(c)-f(a)=-k r^3 and both axial derivatives zero, integration by parts gives the exact weight identity ∫_0^r u(r-u) f_xxx(a+u) du = 2 k r^3. The weight u(r-u) has integral r^3/6, so its weighted mean of f_xxx is exactly 12k. This matches the contact value U3=12k from (3.3), which is exact at the pins, not only in the limit. If |f_xxxx| <= M4, then f_xxx stays within r M4 of this weighted mean. Substituting f_xxx=12k+η into f_xx(a)=-(1/r)∫_0^r (r-u) f_xxx(a+u) du gives f_xx(a)=-6 k r plus an error at most M4 r^2/2, hence |alpha_M+6k| <= r M4/2. At the right endpoint the same expansion gives f_xx(c)=6 k r plus an error of the same size, hence |alpha_S-6k| <= r M4/2. N3 — block determinant (5.3) and moments — ACCEPTFor H=[[r alpha, r beta^T],[r beta, A]], the Schur calculation when A is invertible is det H = det(A) (r alpha - r^2 beta^T A^{-1} beta) = r alpha det A - r^2 beta^T adj(A) beta, because det(A) A^{-1}=adj(A). Both sides are polynomials in the entries, so the identity survives at singular A and at alpha=0. Dividing by r is (5.3). Checked on nonsingular, singular, and zero-alpha blocks in dimensions m=1,2,3, including the empty-product adjugate 1 when m=1. By (5.1), alpha and beta are bounded by M3/2. By (5.3), det H_i/r is a polynomial in those quantities and in the Hessian entries. (4.1) and (4.3) give every finite moment of M3 and of the C^2 norm, uniformly in small r and in (b,k,R). Cauchy–Schwarz lifts that to every finite moment of W_r/r^2 = |det H_M/r| |det H_S/r| times the type indicator. Uniform L^{1+δ} bounds are the uniform integrability used below. No inverse of alpha_i or of A_i is taken. N4 — scaled Hessian convergence — ACCEPTThe matrix that converges is the congruence D^{-1} H D^{-1} with D=diag(sqrt(r), I): [[alpha_i, sqrt(r) beta_i^T],[sqrt(r) beta_i, A_i]]. Its off-diagonal entries are exactly sqrt(r) beta_i, as written. By (5.1) and the uniform moments of M3, those entries tend to 0 in probability, uniformly in the parameters. By (5.2) and the uniform moments of M4, alpha_M → -6k and alpha_S → 6k in probability, uniformly on compact B×K. By (5.1), A_S-A_M → 0 in probability in operator norm. A_M is a finite-dimensional Gaussian regression of the transverse Hessian at distance r/2 from the origin. Section 3 supplies uniform convergence of the contact covariance, of v_r to v_0=(b,0,0,12k,0,…), and of the cross-covariance, over compact frames. Means and covariances of A_M therefore converge to those of A_0, uniformly in (b,k,R). The scaled endpoint Hessians converge in distribution, uniformly on that compact set, to diag(-6k, A_0) and diag(6k, A_0). The errors that are not the limiting Gaussian go to 0 in probability. k>=k_->0, and the conditional law of A_0 is nondegenerate by the Section 3 Schur complement, so the limiting matrices are nonsingular almost surely. N5 — full endpoint weight once, display (5.4) — ACCEPTFor r>0, det(D^{-1} H D^{-1})=det(H)/r, and Sylvester's law preserves inertia. Therefore W_r/r^2 = |det scaled_M| |det scaled_S| 1{H_M<0, index(H_S)=d-1}. The product of the two absolute determinants tends to (6k)^2 det(A_0)^2. Both type conditions become A_0<0: the axial eigenvalue -6k is negative and 6k is positive, so the maximum indicator and the index-(d-1) indicator are the same event in the limit. Because A_S-A_M o0, the two transverse matrices converge to one copy of A_0, and the indicator appears once, not as a product of two independent copies. The endpoint weight itself is the product of both determinants. That is the full normalizer in the sense of Section 1: no extra pin density, coordinate Jacobian, or adjacency factor. The discontinuity of the type indicator is the singular locus of A_0, which has probability zero under every nondegenerate Gaussian in the uniform covariance window. Uniform integrability from N3, continuous dependence of Gaussian means and covariances, and the subsequence argument on the compact parameter set give Z_r/r^2 → (6k)^2 E[det(A_0)^2 1{A_0<0}], uniformly in (b,k,R). The common integrable majorant for the limiting polynomial is the Section 3 envelope (3.5), transferred to A_0 by the uniform conditional covariance bounds: det(A)^2 is dominated by a Gaussian moment that does not depend on the parameter. N6 — qualitative floor (5.5) — ACCEPTOn B×K×O(d), (6k)^2 >= (6 k_-)^2 > 0. The conditional covariance of A_0 is continuous and positive definite, hence uniformly positive definite on the compact set. A nondegenerate Gaussian charges every nonempty open set. The negative-definite cone has nonempty interior, and det^2 is not almost surely zero there, so z_0(b,k,R)>0 at every parameter. The same uniform density envelope makes z_0 continuous. A continuous positive function on a compact set has a positive minimum and a finite maximum. Uniform convergence from N5 therefore yields, after reducing r_* if needed, 0 < z_* <= Z_r/r^2 <= z^* < infinity. The constants are existential. They are not the historical numerical floor 17/10. The expectation is the full typed weight E_Q W_r, not a normalization on a further restricted good event. What this does not acceptSection 6 and later, the cap theorem, Theorem A, Theorem C, equation (15.2), and RN/24-jet status stay outside. No scientific-status flag moves. |
