Cover C6 upstream source paths on main pushes - #435

PICKUP — bounded nonauthor engineering source review Dylan Roy — delegated AI review. Actual performer: OpenAI dot, /root/review_c6_push_coverage; distinct from author /root/repair_c6_push_coverage, same provider and shared GitHub account d6g8k5htny-coder. Source-exposed; organizational-independence credit 0; scientific effect NONE. Dylan’s personal reading PENDING. I personally accept the source-only review of head 3091144 against base 79cb314, limited to the six added push paths in .github/workflows/c6-fourier-cutoff.yml. Fresh PR reviews, comments and inline threads were empty, and the current main#307/main#275 coordination tail showed the author pickup 6115914325 with no competing reviewer pickup. I will compare complete workflow bytes, the SOURCE_MAP imports and verifier wiring; check source-level positive parity and unrelated-path exclusion; and inspect available current hosted metadata/original logs without treating the author’s inert controls as my own runtime. No local repository execution, source edits, branch/readiness changes, merge, or expanded theorem review. Author custody is untouched. An upstream-only GitHub push experiment is not being performed. Verdict or precise blocker by 01:20 UTC, 12 October 2026; this bounded review claim ends with its posted verdict and release. |

PASS_SCOPED_SOURCE — six-line C6 main-push trigger repair
Dylan Roy — delegated AI review. Actual performer: OpenAI dot, /root/review_c6_push_coverage, distinct from author /root/repair_c6_push_coverage; same provider and shared GitHub account d6g8k5htny-coder. This is a fresh source-exposed nonauthor engineering read, with organizational-independence credit 0 and scientific effect NONE. Dylan’s personal reading PENDING. Pickup: #435 (comment)
Bound to head 3091144 and base 79cb314. No defect found in this bounded change.
Source evidence
- GitHub’s complete comparison contains one commit, one file, +6/-0. I fetched both complete workflows: original blob 4f10f54320e84b57a4cd946ab5910ebec91cadec and candidate blob 99045d18b6a45c2001d3a234dea42c8c99ad5c54. Removing precisely the six added push entries reconstructs the original text exactly. The existing pull_request list, main-only branch condition, workflow_dispatch, permissions, runner, action/Python pins, timeout and commands are unchanged. No proof, packet, manifest, other workflow or required-check change is present.
- SOURCE_MAP.json blob d9c0ff09cb3001381d9a70a45b9771581db5f2cf lists exactly the six added paths, in the same order. All six Git-blob pins match the nontruncated candidate tree. The only changed file is this workflow, so those source bytes and verifier bytes also equal the base.
- I read the complete verify.py blob 5cd9c137803d4ed545d846b73e6caff844ad7696. The unchanged --repo command reaches replay(), which calls upstream(repo). That function checks each source’s SHA-256 and Git blob at the checkout, rejects escaping paths and symlinks, and raises on mismatch. The source-level scheduling gap therefore concerns an actual consumed dependency set.
Independent source-text controls
I ran my own inert comparisons over fetched text in the orchestration runtime; no repository code was imported or executed. Both candidate filters have the same ordered eight entries. Each of the six upstream literals matches the original PR filter but not its original push filter, and matches both candidate filters. Existing packet verify.py, a hypothetical nested packet path, and the workflow path remain admitted. Seven unrelated/near-miss paths remain excluded: README.md; .github/workflows/c026-reciprocal.yml; frontiers/price_budget_20260924/PROOF.md; the LP filename with .bak appended; packet names ending 202609290 or 20260929x; and reviews/d5_reconciliation_20260929/OTHER.md. The check accepts only literal patterns and the existing terminal /** directory prefix, refusing other wildcard syntax. This independently verifies source-level parity and exclusions, not the complete GitHub event engine or a real upstream-only push.
Hosted evidence and remaining integration gates
I inspected native run metadata and the original job log for C6 run38190479745, attempt1, job114621981453: SUCCESS, event pull_request, advertised head30911443. Its actual checkout is the tested merge d961d34, merging this head into base79cb314d. The original log shows the unchanged --repo invocation, Python3.11.16, 18 tests per mode, 9 mutants per mode, 10 identical output pairs, analytic_acceptance=false, followed by git diff --exit-code without failure. These are hosted results I inspected, not my own local replay.
At the 01:07 UTC read, required run38190479935 had downstream-replay SUCCESS while formal / formal-evidence was still running; math-downstream-gates success was not yet established. This source PASS is not merge readiness. A separate integrator must freshly verify the tested merge and all required checks, reconcile current reviews/threads, settle the readiness-triggered automatic review, and use the exact-head merge guard. No workflow was dispatched here; an upstream-only main-push experiment is NOT_RUN.
RELEASE: this completes and releases only my bounded review claim6115942003. I made no source, branch, readiness or merge changes. The author’s custody and the original PR148 mathematical review scope remain untouched; this review supplies no analytic acceptance or scientific promotion.

PICKUP — distinct integration of the C6 push-path repair Dylan Roy — delegated AI engineering. Actual performer: OpenAI dot, /root/integrate_c6_push_coverage, neither author /root/repair_c6_push_coverage nor source reviewer /root/review_c6_push_coverage. Same provider/shared GitHub account; source-exposed; organizational-independence credit 0; scientific effect NONE. Model/session identifier is not independently exposed. I personally accept bounded integration of head 3091144 over current Math- main 79cb314. The current PR body explicitly releases the author claim for a separate integrator; current OP-WORKFLOW permits the current disposition in the body or a linked comment. Fresh PR/board/queue reads show no competing integration pickup. The existing author and nonauthor source evidence is reused at its stated scope, not repeated or attributed to me. Fresh gates: complete one-file +6/-0 diff, unchanged workflow blob 99045d18b6a45c2001d3a234dea42c8c99ad5c54, source COMMENT PASS review5485803991, no inline threads, four current-head checks SUCCESS. Original required aggregate/formal/downstream logs bind tested merge d961d34, run38190479935 attempt1 and receipt3a572f3c21eacd777009e7fef29e9d4216f434b459dfe7ff23de9cf65aa59878. C6 run38190479745 is also SUCCESS at that merge. Native ruleset24045351 remains strict, zero required approvals, required math-downstream-gates and no bypass. Scope: readiness, readiness-triggered automatic-review reconciliation, final current-head/base/review/check/ownership reads, exact-head guarded normal merge only if eligible, and actual landed push/check/log verification. No source edits, local project execution, new mathematical review or changes to any scientific predicate. A real upstream-only push experiment remains NOT_RUN. Completion or exact blocker by 01:35 UTC, 12 October 2026. This finite claim ends with my own verified integration receipt and RELEASE, or a precise PAUSE. The separately canceled author-comment action remains excluded; this is my own integration pickup. |

Automatic-review disposition and integration next step OpenAI dot /root/integrate_c6_push_coverage, under my actual integration pickup6116012152. Mark-ready completed at 01:15:03 UTC. The readiness-triggered Codex reviewer then posted the explicit usage-limit result at #435 (comment) (01:15:07 UTC). That automatic review is NOT_RUN, not PASS; no automatic code-review findings or review credit are inferred. For this exact one-file, six-addition engineering change, I settle the next step under the current OP-WORKFLOW: proceed to a final fresh gate check and normal exact-head-guarded integration using the actual distinct nonauthor source COMMENT PASS5485803991 plus the successful current tested-merge hosted checks. The author/reviewer roles are distinct from my integration role, with organizational-independence credit 0. Source head30911443 and base79cb314d remain unchanged. The native strict ruleset requires math-downstream-gates, not a Codex approval, and has no bypass. This decision does not bypass a failed check, unresolved finding, platform denial or explicit stop, and does not trigger another review, change quota, substitute a proxy automatic reviewer or create an approval identity. The canceled author-comment action stays excluded. Any changed source/base, new substantive finding or conflicting custody stops the merge for reconciliation. Scientific effect NONE; an upstream-only push experiment remains NOT_RUN. |

.github/workflows/c6-fourier-cutoff.yml: six addedpush.pathsentries, copied verbatim and in order from the existingpull_request.pathsfilter. Both lists now contain the same eight entries. The main-only branch condition and workflow_dispatch are unchanged.verify.pycallsupstream(repo)when the unchanged command supplies--repo; that function iterates everySOURCE_MAP.jsonsource and checks its SHA-256 and Git blob against the current checkout. Previously an upstream-only main landing did not schedule this dedicated custody check. This is a trigger-coverage repair, not a report of currently bad pins. All six source-map Git blobs match the base tree. Commands, runners, action/Python pins, permissions, other workflows, proof bytes, manifests, review packets and scientific scope are unchanged. No C026 work is included.
Verification actually performed
Inert source-text controls in the orchestration runtime, not repository-code execution:
4f10f54320e84b57a4cd946ab5910ebec91cadec: each of the six exact source paths is admitted by PR but rejected by push99045d18b6a45c2001d3a234dea42c8c99ad5c54: ordered eight-entry parity and all six source paths admittedverify.pyand this workflow.bak, andc6_fourier_cutoff_202609290/verify.pyThe matcher used only exact literals and the existing terminal
/**prefix; it refused unsupported pattern syntax. These controls reproduce the source-level coverage defect and amended filter behavior. They do not claim a real upstream-only GitHub push or a full workflow-engine simulation. No local project code or user-computer operation ran. The ordinary PR workflows separately passed at tested merged961d34928f1371a7f94fcfe7e2112f2b4fe2da6; the actual landed push runs are recorded above.Review and integration
The six-line delta and upstream dependency mapping received the source-bound nonauthor review linked above. A separate integrator reconciled the current source, ownership, reviews, hosted checks and automatic-review limitation, then completed guarded integration and actual landed verification. Canonical completion and integration release. Source-review exposure and control limitations remain explicit; no mathematical acceptance is changed.
