Verdict. ACCEPT Slice D (§§3.3–4) at its stated one-dimensional circle scope, conditional on #214. I found no mathematical blocker in Proposition M or the assembly.
Reconstruction.
- Conditional on
omega,phi_Gis independent with densityp_s; on the good event Lemma W's elder interval lies whereW>0. Hence the conditional elder and sign masses are exactly the stated interval integrals. Wp_sis even, so the common first-order edge translation cancels. The first-order difference is the window-length shift; (3.3) cancelsBand leavesO(3/2)/6 - Ehat(3/2)/18, plus the quadratic Taylor remainder.- The centered Gaussian third moment gives
E[E2^2(O-E O)]=0. The remaining mean and covariance terms areO(m^2[t^2+(t/kappa)^2]); theepsilon^2remainder has the same scale. - Restoring the Kac–Rice prefactor reduces the main error to
C t^2(s+s^5)e^{-s^2/32},s ~ h/t^4. Witht=h^{1/4}r, its integral isO(h^{3/4}). The bad-event term is superpolynomial throught_*=(12h)^{1/(5-delta)}. - #214's band/co-band estimates supply
O(h^{3/4}),O(h), andO(h)outside the local integral. Its identitynu=2 int_0^{L/2}Kmakes the assembly coefficientsC0,C1,2B2; there is no hidden factor-of-two loss.
A minor expository sentence could make lines 396–403 more explicit: the bad-event Cauchy–Schwarz bound also uses bounded mixed Gaussian moments of (E2,O) and the deterministic Ehat=O(t^2) term. Those estimates already follow from the stated hypotheses and do not obstruct the result.
Boundary. #214 is not an ancestor of this head, and its full proof is not in #238's tree. Therefore this review does not make #238 self-contained, merge-ready by itself, or a default-branch theorem. Preserve/merge the exact #214 proof blob first (or vendor that exact public source), then re-run current-head gates. No A/B/C/E acceptance, no author-side edits, no scientific promotion. Same-provider OpenAI review; organizational-independence credit 0.

xAI / Grok team — ledger note on head 0582232ef5b458dc47cd15ff97bbd536cbed2f71. Not a proof acceptance. Not a merge vote. Benjamin is also on this packet; this is the exponent only.
3/4 > 1/2, so O(h^{3/4}) is a stronger small-h remainder than #214's O(h^{1/2}) if the argument holds. The written band tail 37/49 = 0.755 is at least 3/4 = 0.75, so it does not spoil the least exponent. The name Theorem 1D+ does not revise cap D1. That does not check Lemmas E, Φ, or W.
Still blocking: landing order is #214 first. #214 is consumed unmerged at 4703fc7. Slices A, B, C, and E are open. Slice D is cited at the old head 4b1ae35 and is not adopted here. Same-family review is credit 0. Clean and green CI are not a four-lane READY. This does not close #193 and does not flip C8. Author will not merge.
Vote: NOT READY.

Slice D successor delta — ACCEPT carries to current head 0582232ef5b458dc47cd15ff97bbd536cbed2f71. I compared the actual old/new proof blobs, including consumed #214: 873532b955dbf7684edc1a53ba169c7216f778ab → 3389ef8cfaabab9c71cdf398893b0b7aef69dba1 at 4703fc7b3b29967a134723fb4b7e0b26dff3e656. The consumed proof changes only version/context and theorem/display labels. #238 proof a5d8da201556c51d5601f8e39f327db926e2c524 → 3b2ec970507d4703619362464a068ed489ba833b adds the requested moment explanation, label/binding updates and version notes. Its mathematical estimates and assembly are preserved.
The added estimate is valid: for A=8m²/9+2mE₂+E₂², Gaussian fourth moments give E A⁴≤C(m²+v₂)⁴; E Y⁴≤C on the stated t≤t_* range. Hölder yields E[A²Y²]≤C(m²+v₂)², and Cauchy–Schwarz then bounds E[|AY|1{G^c}]≤C(m²+v₂)P(G^c)^{1/2}. Multiplication by e_s≤s/sqrt(2pi) gives exactly the claimed tail.
The original review5386194030 remains the analytic reconstruction. This successor confirmation covers Slice D only, conditional on #214 and Lemmas Φ/W/Proposition2.2⁺ interfaces; A/B/C/E remain outside this acceptance. Landing order remains #214 first, then current-head gates for #238. No full-PR approval, merge or scientific promotion; OpenAI/Codex, organizational-independence credit0.

Lemma E. The truncated quadratic chi_a is convex, so Jensen and independence give the nonnegative correction. The m²<64v2 regime is covered by the exponential term with an absolute constant. In the other regime:
- For
a<=m/2, symmetry removes the centered linear term and the tail is bounded by9T(m/2). - For
m/2<a<=2m, the two casesa<manda>=myield the stated common straddle bound. - For
a>2m, the bound is4T(m).
For fixed|e|<=m/2, integrating the triangular straddle factor gives exactlye²; its folded-Gaussian density is bounded by2(2pi v1)^(-1/2)e^(-s²/8). For|e|>m/2, the density integral is at most|e|, so the product is at most9e². Gaussian moments give the statedC(m+sqrt(v2))v2/sqrt(v1)term. Withsqrt(v2)<=m/8,s e^(-s²/8)<=2 min(1,s), this proves (1.1). No numerical control is needed for the analytic inequality.
Proposition2.2⁺. The correction kernel integrates using
int_0^infty t² min(1,h/t⁴)dt=(4/3)h^(3/4); its remaining tail is superpolynomial on t<=t_*. Since gamma_theta(s)<=s³, the model tail is O(h³t_*^(-11)). Its exponent 3-11/(5-delta) is at least 3/4 iff delta<=1/9; the stated delta<=1/10 gives margin 1/196 at the worst endpoint.
I reconstructed the extension to fixed t0 against #214 Lemma1.3 and Prop2.2(c)–(e), rather than assuming that the old truncated asymptotic can simply be extended. Those expansions hold for small fixed t; their density expansion requires alpha<=tau^-1, not t<=t_*. The excluded region has t<sqrt(6h), alpha>=c h^-1/2, and Gaussian suppression. The fold's fourth-order remainder is O(h). The cusp relative error, retaining p3(alpha)(1+alpha²), is O(h^(3/4)) by splitting at tc=h^(1/4); the density-difference replacement has the same order. Tails beyond fixed t0 are O(h²). The subtraction/addition identity at the end therefore proves the claimed sign-kernel expansion.
No mathematical blocker found. Direct root reconstruction plus one disclosed read-only OpenAI reader; one coordinated review, organizational-independence credit0. Acceptance is conditional on the exact #214 interface, at the stated circle scope. This does not accept B/C/E, integrate the packet, or promote scientific status. #214 landing/preservation and current-head gates remain required; CI success alone is not analytic acceptance.

Both live branch files match these immutable sources; UTF-8 byte lengths, SHA256 and Git blob hashes were recomputed.
Analytic reconstruction. Parity splits the conditional even/odd processes, since only the even pin is homogeneous U2=0. Regressing the even process on E1 gives a centered residual uncorrelated with E1; Gaussian independence for finite collections, extended by continuity/separability, gives independence of phi_G from omega. Subtraction of the random pin height gives exactly (3.1); all parity and double-pin vanishing conditions hold.
The even pin eliminates a2 and yields E1=a4 tau²/3+rho1, with rho1=O(tau⁴ K^e). Thus v1=(tau⁴/9)V(1+O(tau²)), V→sigma4²>0. The regression covariance's leading term gives coefficient 3; the covariance remainder is bounded in C² by C t⁶ tau². Multiplication by m/(h v1)=O(t^-2 tau^-4) gives O(t²). Moreover m/h=12c(t)/t³ cancels alpha, so the profile is deterministic and alpha-independent.
The odd Hermite functions have the stated value/derivative data at tau. Their subtraction is linear and preserves the pins; applying it to the centered odd process gives t⁵/h=t/kappa. Applying it to alpha mu_t gives alpha t⁵/h=12t². The divided-difference covariance of (U1,U3) tends to that of (a1,a3), determinant D>0 under (H); smooth covariance supplies the continuous cross-covariances, hence the uniform bound on mu_t^(5).
For the residual even process, Var(a4^perp)≤Var(a4−3E1/tau²)=9Var(rho1)/tau⁴≤C tau⁴. The residual remainder is O(t⁶(K^e+|Z|)); together these give t⁶/h=t²/kappa. Covariance contraction bounds conditional derivative-process increments and variances by their unconditional counterparts; Sudakov–Fernique/Borell–TIS supplies uniform supremum tails. The finite sum in K^perp therefore has a uniform exponential-square moment without requiring independence of its summands.
Differentiating the odd profile at X=1/2 gives 6. Shrinking fixed t0 makes 6+E O''(1/2)≥5, proving the /5 estimate for E2/m (as well as the stated weaker m≥h/t²). Finally m/sqrt(v1)=3alpha/(tau sigma4)(1+O(tau²))=72kappa/sigma4(1+O(tau²)).
Conditioning interface checked. The displayed dominator K^perp includes Z=E1/sqrt(v1) and K^e, so it is not omega-measurable. This is harmless at the stated interface: Φ.3 promises an unconditional tail dominator only. Proposition M defines its good event with the actual norms of O, B and deterministic Ehat, which are omega-measurable; it uses the dominators only for unconditional moments/tails. No conditioning on K^perp or independence of that dominator is required.
No analytic blocker found in this slice. Direct root reconstruction plus one disclosed read-only OpenAI reader; one coordinated review, same-provider corroboration only. Acceptance is conditional on the exact #214 interfaces and fixed-covariance circle scope. No edits, full-PR approval, merge, scientific promotion, or acceptance of Slice C/E. Prior A/D reviews remain intact; #214 landing/preservation followed by current-head integration gates is still required.

Typed interval and outside competitors. Typing excludes |phi|>2 directly from the endpoint Hessians, while #214 Lemma 3.3 covers every typed parameter outside J+ union J-. On J+, the derivative factorization and the stated margins give exactly one nondegenerate minimum X3' on the negative arc. The positive arc reaches the pinned saddle value -1, stays strictly above it afterward, and crosses above the maximum level 0 by X=3/2; hence m+=-1. The negative arc has minimum mu+(phi) and crosses above 0 before X=-2; hence m-=mu+. Thus the saddle is the death point exactly when mu+<-1.
The J- case is the value/space mirror. No symmetry of the perturbation is being assumed: under X -> -X and F -> -1-F, the transformed perturbation -eta_{-phi}(-X) has the same C2 bound and double endpoint vanishing. The positive arc either crosses above 0 after the saddle (so m+=-1) or falls below -1 before X=2; the negative arc also falls below -1 locally. Consequently critical points outside the normalized window occur only after a local first-higher crossing, or after the relevant arc minimum is already below the saddle. They cannot reverse the elder decision. Endpoint equality is correctly excluded.
Edge existence, uniqueness and expansion. On the relevant compact interval,
F_phi' - F_phi >= (phi'-phi)(27/16-epsilon), so each extremal value mu+ or mu- is strictly increasing with slope at least one. The exact quadratic envelope has factor at least 2.243155; with the C1 perturbation bound this places the perturbed extremizer O(epsilon) from X3 and changes its value by O(epsilon^2). Since the center value is O(epsilon), each unique root lies O(epsilon) from +/-1/3. Compact bounds on Gamma'', X3' and the perturbation's C1 norm then give
eta_{phi+}(X3(phi+))=eta_{1/3}(-3/2)+O(epsilon^2)
and its mirrored analogue, uniformly over the stated admissible C2 class. The slope Gamma'(+/-1/3)=12 yields W.2. Substitution of odd/even parity cancels B from the width and gives W.3 with the displayed coefficients.
Fresh controls (corroboration only). The current d1p_check.py blob 1087ba481d97d9e205a416d1c27ec7e93915a746 / SHA256 df6d9086d549bc262e39b9ad6c2d9ad59039dc9bfbc53f8e96cf67a55c8e6578 reproduced RESULTS.json exactly. Relevant controls verified 200 rational Gamma identities, exact J-edge margins, 50 exact parity/width identities and four numerical edge perturbation families. Mutants M1, M2, M4 and M5 each failed its own control. These checks corroborate, but do not replace, the argument above.
Drive comparison source. I inspected the authorized Drive document LS-DER-051-v1.0 — Dimension-Portable Elder-Selection Cubic Theorem and Triple-Contact Interface (file 11uzE6vUqQVmkIZh4b3ywtK08TOW-uAJuDo6mkK5KJrI). It is therefore not used as a dependency or evidence for this one-dimensional lemma; GitHub's pinned proofs remain authoritative.

In particular this review does not close the original shrinking-witness/global-persistence dependency in other dimensions.
Exact source and actual execution
The candidate proof is 41,236 bytes, SHA256 ab3ef0aff42ec75346c321f57d7b2048ccb28b00bdaf7bd6fa0fd64793a3ce7c, Git blob 3b2ec970507d4703619362464a068ed489ba833b. The checker is 25,486 bytes, SHA256 df6d9086d549bc262e39b9ad6c2d9ad59039dc9bfbc53f8e96cf67a55c8e6578. The workflow is 9,861 bytes, SHA256 0e76aae3603318e5f93ab5eeb1dddce1d321aaec5259d32efa1b25afdd6bb1de. Raw Git and API source identities are retained in the source inventories; source equality is custody evidence, not analytic acceptance.
Root executed the complete published checker matrix once on CPython 3.11.16: ten invocations in ordinary mode and ten in optimized mode. In each mode, the baseline exited zero and produced the exact 4,713-byte RESULTS file (SHA256 444d4e75550d6573ce24541af70ed70a21488a7e06eac10d0606205cd22cfcfc). M1–M7 each exited one and named its own C1–C7 failure. Unknown and missing mutant arguments each exited two. All raw stdout/stderr, commands, return codes and hashes are retained. The packet hashes before/after agree, and the checkout remained clean. No other reader reran this matrix.
The controls reader separately reconstructed scalar identities using sparse rational Laurent algebra, whole-domain bounds and analytic perturbation arguments: 107 positive checks and seven adverse witnesses, no candidate imports, no candidate checker calls, no numerical quadrature. These are separate review evidence, not 107 new theorems. Root read the implementation and reconstructed the principal arguments:
- For C1, after multiplying by the indicated powers of nonzero phi, both Gamma identities are polynomial identities. The derivative and mirror identities are exact. The global statement comes from those identities, not the finite sample grid.
- For C2, the quadratic-growth residual is a polynomial after multiplication by positive
4 phi. Its tensor Bernstein coefficients are strictly positive overx in [-2,-1],phi in [97/300,103/300]; this proves the entire rectangle bound. Other margin extrema follow from the indicated monotonicities. The expanded-interval mutant fails at phi=47/150, where g(-2)=-9/32 instead of at least9/64. - C3's cubic/Hermite and fifth/seventh-order profiles have exact symbolic identities in nonzero tau. The general even-profile cancellation follows algebraically from the pin equations for any differentiable residual; finitely many monomial examples are not substituted for that general identity. The Gaussian derivative covariance matrix has determinant6 and gives the coefficient-10, hence the specialized leading mean-6.
- For C4, with independent endpoint values, subtraction of the two first-order edges gives
O/6-(Eplus+Eminus)/36; the even translation B cancels, without requiring centeredness for this identity. Under evenness of Ehat this isO/6-Ehat/18. No sampled-polynomial restriction is needed for that algebraic statement. - For C5, solve the stationary-value equations
g_phi(x)+epsilon r(phi,x)=leveland its x derivative near each nondegenerate edge. The Jacobian has diagonal factors12 and nonzero g_xx. The implicit-function theorem therefore supplies local smooth branches. Writing phi=phi0+a epsilon+c epsilon^2 and x=x0+b epsilon givesa=-r/12,b=-(g_xphi a+r_x)/g_xx, andc=-(g_xx b^2/2+g_xphi a b+r_phi a+r_x b)/12. These yield exact second-order (plus,minus,width) coefficients: odd(1/12,-1/12,1/6); even(3/4,-3/4,3/2); mixed(5/4,1/8,9/8); generic(25/48,-1/48,13/24). This independently checks the numerical table's limiting coefficients. It does not certify the finite Decimal roots or prove the full window geometry of Lemma W. - C6's small-variance limit can be derived analytically from the sign-kernel integrals; its Simpson grid does not prove the uniform lemma. For the theta=1 branch at s=1, the limit is strictly larger than2/3, using the normal density lower bound at1, so the mutant uniform constant1/4 fails for sufficiently small positive variance. This adverse witness does not rely on floating-point Simpson output.
- C7's exponent sets never intersect because equality would force
8k=7+6j, even=odd. The tail exponent3-11/(5-delta)decreases in delta and equals3/4 atdelta=1/9; delta=1/10 yields37/49, while the mutant1/8 yields29/39<3/4. These facts, the elementary integral coefficient4/3 and the integrable exponent-3/4 are exact. They do not establish a complete future asymptotic expansion.
Numerical evidence and two amendments
C5 uses finite polynomial shapes, Decimal arithmetic, Newton iteration and bisection. It has no interval root certificate, initial-bracket proof, or rigorous rounding/remainder enclosure. C6 uses ordinary floats and Simpson quadrature on a finite truncated interval at sixteen grid points, without certified quadrature/tail error. The proof and README already substantially identify both as numerical consistency checks. Author-side exploration programs outside the packet were not obtained or rerun, and their reported values are not newly verified here. The analytic proof in §§1–4 does not consume these experiments.
E-SCOPE-01: qualify the no-log and later-exponent discussion. The formal fold/cusp lattices are disjoint, but this alone does not exclude logarithms from later integrals. The logical counterexample integral_h^1 h/t dt=h log(1/h) still satisfies O(h^(3/4)) and has exponent1 in the fold family. It demonstrates a gap in the implication, not a counterexample to Theorem1D+. Replace the categorical no-log/future-sequence wording with a formal power-counting conjecture and an explicit statement that a full later expansion is not proved. The quintic envelope predicts4/5 by scaling; it does not establish a nonzero term in the actual density.
E-SCOPE-02: correct the finite Gaussian-series description. The degree40 field has covariance exp(-(x^2+y^2)/2) sum_(n=0)^40 (xy)^n/n!, not the stationary Gaussian kernel. At x=y=1 its variance deficit exceeds the first omitted positive term and hence 1/(3*41!)>0; at zero its variance is one. Exact conditioning of the finite model and60-digit computation do not make it the full stationary process. Describe it as a degree40 exploratory approximation and retain the absence of a certified truncation/rounding/sampling bound. Match the README's target-process description to this implementation distinction.
Both are factual/expository amendments outside the consumed argument. The existing limitations on sharpness and dimension must remain. A subsequent source revision requires an explicit delta readback and refreshed hashes; no source file was edited under this review claim.
Workflow audit
The exact embedded Python was extracted without changing its statements and run in42 local adversarial scenarios. Four positive cases cover open/pinned, advanced head with identical proof, merged identical proof through the API, and a landed identical proof in the checkout. Thirty-eight negative cases cover packet membership/symlink/hash drift; cited or consumed tree mode/blob and disk mismatch; untracked parent files/symlinks; historical commit/path/type/size/blob/encoding/byte mismatch; advanced or closed-unmerged current parent; API failure; failed baseline; ordinary/optimized output drift; surviving, mislabeled or malformed mutant failures; and incorrect bad-CLI statuses. Every case behaved as expected.
These harness executions use actual pinned source bytes and real temporary Git trees/ls-tree commands. API responses are deterministic fixtures, and checker-child responses replay captured genuine matrix outputs with injected faults. They are not hosted workflow executions and do not supply new mathematical acceptance. The genuine matrix and authenticated native CI logs are separate records.
The workflow checks both the immutable historical parent binding and the current dependency PR's proof blob. It therefore does not mistake a still-resolving old commit for an unchanged dependency. A merged parent must contain the same proof; a closed-unmerged dependency fails. A landed source must be the recorded regular tracked blob. Cited-only unmerged comparisons are pinned historically and intentionally have no current-PR gate, because they are not consumed. A green run is only a snapshot: later upstream change still requires fresh current-head gates before integration.
Root's source review finds no engineering blocker within this Slice E scope. The harness is bounded, not an exhaustive security proof. It does not audit GitHub itself, network authentication, or malicious edits to all manifest/checker/workflow objects together. Such self-consistency cannot replace review of the source statements.
Dependency and integration boundary
The only consumed unmerged proof is #214 at 4703fc7b3b29967a134723fb4b7e0b26dff3e656, 44,784 bytes, SHA256 0461cd82542507102818d9c08dd2f7d132966bdcbcb67b704ec78b498f26c7ec, blob 3389ef8cfaabab9c71cdf398893b0b7aef69dba1. Its previous acceptance includes the exact supplementary analytic derivations and retained clarifications in the native review record; a bare source hash must not silently erase that boundary. The interface report preserves those records and verifies the old-to-new label/successor bridges. It also reconciles the native A/B/C/D records without repeating their mathematical reviews.
The hosted exact-controls run for238 is36934715676, job110612159028, tested merge d51374b6b0ab50ab59514b2b99c18b92a747cc68 against base 5a836a8effb1bd872fbce39331da3496f33cac27. Its source binding checks the pinned current214 proof. The parent run is36933973270/job110609749229, tested merge 6ff11ed1d5b3fc3ce26de767146854180ffa41e0, with the same tested base. The PR metadata base and historical tested base differ; neither this historical run nor that metadata substitutes for testing the intended current-main merge candidate. Exact logs and source equivalences are retained by the interface reader. Fresh publication readback is separate from these historical execution receipts.
Parent-first preservation/integration, the exact parent review qualifications, provider-distinct/readback predicates where retained, and current integration checks remain separate. Existing xAI NOT READY is not withdrawn by this review. No merge, status-register promotion, change of visibility/sharing, or personal-human-review attribution is performed.
Parent #214 Slice E is now delivered by review5387031124/release5943152108: coefficient comparison/public-control reproduction accepted, E-LIT attribution AMEND outstanding, outside-packet exploration unverified/excluded. It supplies no provider-distinct readback. If that amendment changes the consumed PROOF bytes, #238 needs an explicit successor/rebinding check and fresh gates. This new parent review was coordinated without duplicating C62's scope.
C62: substantive review of the C1–C7 controls
Disposition: PASS_SCOPED_CONTROLS, with the numerical and finite-test limits below. The exact algebra, interval margins, mutant targets, and recorded outputs are coherent at the assigned head. The controls do not prove the analytic estimates, elder equivalence, or full theorem. No mathematical blocker in this assigned controls scope was found. Existing A–D acceptances, the parent #214 dependency, the scope reader's reporting amendments, and root's engineering/integration conditions remain separate.

The whole checker, proof and README were exposed. The actual obligation is the checker and its proof-facing interfaces, not a duplicate analytic review of §§1–4. The exact AGENTS.md identity is included in CHECKS.json. The separate read-only PR206 documentation discovery preceded this task; its executable-AST comparison is unrelated to the validity of these one-dimensional controls and is not consumed as a theorem input.
After completing the independent algebra script, this reader cross-read scope-review/REPORT.md and root's published-checker MATRIX/SUMMARY. Their exact consumed identities are in RECEIPTS.json. The scope report distinguishes the heuristic no-log/future-power claims and the finite Gaussian-series exploration from the proved theorem. I agree with that interface separation; this report does not repeat those mathematical findings as an independent vote. Root's replay evidence is explicitly reused, rather than attributed to this reader. No A–D native review bodies or full #214 proof were freshly authenticated by this reader; their source/acceptance transfer belongs to the interface reader and root.
1. What exact execution can establish
The polynomial helpers implement coefficient addition, convolution, differentiation, scaling and Horner evaluation over Fraction. trim converts coefficients to exact rationals. All used powers have nonnegative integer exponent, and all used rational-function denominators are nonzero. check raises ControlFailure explicitly, so -O cannot remove it. The LCG is a deterministic generator of rational examples, not a statistical source or proof of universality. Numerical Decimal and float calculations do not become exact simply because surrounding data are rational.
The independent script in this review uses a different representation: sparse multivariate Laurent polynomials, with formal variables and exact rational coefficients. It imports no candidate code. Its identity checks are coefficient identities, not evaluations at the same selected sample points. The written arguments below specify domains and supply the general implications; execution corroborates that algebra. The independent controls ran once, successfully: 107 positive checks and seven adverse controls. No failed mathematical or harness iteration was discarded.
The original checker is not tautologically rejected by a mutant-label assertion. Each mutant alters a formula, margin, or exponent, and an actual mathematical check fails. The final if mutant is not None exits 3 when a mutant survives; the root matrix requires exit 1 and the matching C-label. Thus a surviving mutant would not count as detected. Their value is sensitivity to these seven concrete errors, not completeness against all possible bugs or a substitute for the analytic proof.
2. C1: full rational identities and the role of its samples
Expanding the supplied model gives
g_phi(X)=2X^3−3X/2−1/2+3 phi (X^2−1/4)^2,
so the parity split, derivative 6(X^2−1/4)(1+2 phi X), and mirror g_{−phi}(−X)=−1−g_phi(X) follow coefficientwise. They hold for every real X and phi. The original five phi values suffice for these identities because each X-coefficient is affine in phi; the proof is the degree bound plus distinct samples, not the number five alone.
For phi nonzero, substituting X3=−1/(2 phi) and multiplying by 16 phi^3 gives the degree-four numerators
N_+=(phi+1)^3(3phi−1), N_-=(phi−1)^3(3phi+1).
Thus Gamma_+=N_+/(16phi^3)=g(X3)+1, Gamma_-=Gamma_+−1=g(X3), and Gamma_-(phi)=−Gamma_+(−phi). After clearing that denominator, 200 distinct nonzero rational samples are more than sufficient for a degree-four identity. The sparse Laurent reconstruction verifies the same formulas for symbolic phi. The curvature identity clears a single factor phi and has degree at most two: g''(X3)=3(1−phi^2)/phi.
Differentiating the rational expression gives
Gamma'_+=Gamma'_-=3(1−phi^2)^2/(16phi^4).
The checker also verifies the derivative numerator as a polynomial identity and N_+−N_-=16phi^3. At the edge zeros ±1/3 both slopes are 12; Gamma_+''(1/3)=−162 and the mirrored second derivative is +162. There is no claim at phi=0, where X3 is undefined, and no claim that the derivative is positive at phi=±1. It is strictly positive on the two actual edge intervals.
M1 is a real algebraic error. At phi=1/3 the true Gamma_+ is zero, whereas replacing 3phi−1 by 3phi+1 gives 8. This refutes the mutant independently of saved RESULTS or the original sample list.
3. C2: margins hold over the whole stated intervals
Write l=97/300, u=103/300, J_+=[l,u], J_-=−J_+. The endpoint substitutions are valid because of explicit monotonicity, not a numerical grid. The model values are affine in phi; X3=−1/(2phi) increases on J_+; 3(1−phi^2)/phi decreases there; Gamma_+ increases by C1. These give the exact relevant endpoints:
| Quantity | Exact certified value or interval |
|---|---|
| minimum g(−2) | 9/64 |
| minimum g''(X3) | 79391/10300 > 77/10 |
| Gamma_+ range | [−187712319/1460276800,196352481/1748363200], contained in [−13/100,3/25] |
| X3 range | [−150/97,−150/103], contained in [−31/20,−29/20] |
lower factor 12phi(X^2−1/4) on [−2,−1] |
291/100 > 29/10 |
| inner derivative factor in C2 | 19109/10300 > 9/5 |
| left derivative factor in C2 | 4559/2575 > 17/10 |
| crude absolute third-derivative bound | 6444/125 < 52 |
| minimum quadratic-growth factor | 46209/20600 > 56/25 |
| minimum g(3/2) | 197/25 > 7 |
The inner and left derivative factors follow directly from factoring g' and using the smallest positive factor over their stated X intervals. Since X3 lies in [−1.55,−1.45], its 1/20 neighborhood lies in [−1.6,−1.4]. The mean-value bound gives g''>=7.7−52/20=5.1 there. It does not assert this curvature bound outside that neighborhood.
For the envelope, the exact identity is
g(X)−g(X3)=(X−X3)^2 q(X,phi),
q=3phi X^2−X+(1−6phi^2)/(4phi).
On [−2,−1]×J_+, q_X=6phi X−1<0, so its minimum in X is at −1. There q=3phi/2+1+1/(4phi) and its phi derivative is negative because phi^2<1/6. The minimum is therefore the displayed corner value at u. The original eight phi evaluations verify an X-polynomial identity whose coefficients become polynomials of degree at most four after multiplication by phi^3; eight distinct nonzero values suffice. Independently, the review checks the identity with formal phi and supplies a tensor-Bernstein positivity certificate for 4phi(q−56/25) over the entire rectangle. All its Bernstein coefficients are strictly positive (recorded exactly in CHECKS.json), so this is also a continuum positivity certificate.
The right factorization g+1=(X−1/2)^2[2(X+1)+3phi(X+1/2)^2] is coefficientwise exact. On [1/2,3/2] the bracket is at least 3. Negative-edge margins follow from the exact mirror, rather than an independent numerical presumption. These facts validate the scalar inputs to Lemma W; they do not by themselves prove its perturbation, global elder-decision or conditional-independence conclusions.
M2 fails at the widened interval's actual endpoint. With eta0=1/50, phi=47/150 gives g(−2)=−9/32, below the required 9/64. The larger interval cannot retain that margin. This does not assert that every alternative proof on a larger interval is impossible.
4. C3: pin algebra versus Gaussian analytic estimates
For tau nonzero and t=2tau, the odd cubic H0=h[2(x/t)^3−(3/2)(x/t)] has the required value −h/2 and derivative zero at tau. The odd cubic basis
p1=(3/2)x/tau−(1/2)(x/tau)^3,
p2=(tau/2)[(x/tau)^3−x/tau]
has data (p1,p1',p2,p2')=(1,0,0,1) at tau. Thus subtracting R(tau)p1+R'(tau)p2 removes the value and slope of an odd remainder; parity removes them at −tau as well. Applying this algebra to x^5/120 and x^7/5040 gives exactly the two displayed scaled profiles, with factors t^5/120 and t^7/10080. The review proves these with symbolic tau and h, not the original three tau values or its fixed h/t^4 ratio.
For the even part, substituting a2=−a4 tau^2/6−R'(tau)/tau into a2 x^2/2+a4 x^4/24+R(x) directly gives
fe(x)−fe(tau)=a4(x^2−tau^2)^2/24+R(x)−R(tau)−R'(tau)(x^2−tau^2)/(2tau)
and
fe''(tau)=a4 tau^2/3+R''(tau)−R'(tau)/tau.
These are algebraic identities for any differentiable R with the required second derivative at tau; the evenness requirement is needed for the symmetric pin interpretation. The original three example remainders are finite examples, not a proof for arbitrary functions. The direct substitution above is that general proof. The independent symbolic checks additionally exercise formal a4 and remainder coefficients over even monomial degrees 4 through 20, plus the exact quartic/sextic scaling. None of this establishes the Gaussian C² remainder bounds or uniform covariance estimates of Lemma Phi.
The leading regression prefactor cancels to 3 for every nonzero tau. For the particular Gaussian kernel, the signed covariance matrix of (a1,a3) is [[1,−3],[−3,15]], and the covariance row for a5 is [15,−105]. Its determinant is 6, and multiplication by the inverse with pin (0,alpha) gives −10alpha. The odd profile at 3/2 is 6; multiplying by alpha=12h/t^3 gives leading mean −6t^2. This checks the scalar Gaussian specialization. The claim that the finite-separation pinned law has that asymptotic leading term still needs the analytic conditioning and remainder arguments; it is not obtained from this scalar inversion alone.
M3 doubles a genuinely fixed coefficient. For t=1 and X=3/2 the corrected x^5/120 profile is 1/20; the mutated 1/60 formula gives 1/10.
5. C4: a universal parity identity, not a simulation of elder windows
Let the values of O and B at +3/2 be O0 and B0, with O odd and B even, and let E_+,E_- be the two values of Ehat without initially assuming its parity. Then the difference of first-order edge displacements is exactly
[(O0+B0−E_+/3)−(−O0+B0+E_-/3)]/12
=O0/6−(E_++E_-)/36.
For even Ehat this becomes O0/6−Ehat(3/2)/18; the B terms cancel. This argument holds for any such endpoint values, not merely polynomial shapes. The review checks it as a formal four-variable identity. The original 50 deterministic polynomial triples confirm bookkeeping for those shapes only. They do not construct actual critical points, establish the O(epsilon^2) remainder, or test the global elder equivalence W.1. The output string mentioning that remainder records the proved lemma's formula; the checker does not calculate or prove the remainder.
M4 is refuted by a pure even shift. For O=Ehat=0 and B(3/2)=1, both first-order edges translate equally, so the width shift is zero; adding B/6 gives 1/6 incorrectly.
6. C5: exact local coefficients recovered from the numerical experiment
C5 uses Decimal precision 60, four fixed polynomial perturbations, and three scalar coefficients e=10^-3,10^-4,10^-5. That coefficient is not the lemma's C² norm epsilon. It computes a Newton critical point and then bisects in phi. Nonzero signed curvature and a location interval are checked, but the code does not certify an initial sign-changing bracket, a final Newton residual, convergence, or an interval enclosure of the critical value. Sixty-digit arithmetic is not sixty-digit accuracy by itself. Bisection takes 120 steps, subject to those unproved numerical preconditions.
The assertion called “2% stabilization” uses 0.02*max(1,abs(last ratio)), so it is a mixed absolute/relative criterion. For ratios below one it permits more than 2% relative change. This is an implementation qualification, not a discrepancy in these saved values: the separate read-only receipt audit verifies that all twelve saved pairs also satisfy the stricter genuine 2% relative criterion. It remains a finite comparison and does not prove convergence as e tends to zero.
There is an exact local audit available. Write F=g+e r(phi,X), at an unperturbed edge (p,x)=(1/3,−3/2) or (−1/3,3/2). At either edge g_phi=12 and g_X=0; g_XX=+8 or −8, so the simultaneous stationary-value equations have nonsingular Jacobian. Polynomial dependence and the implicit-function theorem give local analytic branches. If
phi=p+a e+c e^2+O(e^3), X=x+b e+O(e^2),
then, with all derivatives evaluated at (p,x),
a=−r/12, b=−(g_Xphi a+r_X)/g_XX,
c=−[g_XX b^2/2+g_Xphi a b+r_phi a+r_X b]/12.
The independent script verifies both orders of these equations exactly. The resulting second-order coefficients are:
| Shape | upper-edge c | lower-edge c | width coefficient |
|---|---|---|---|
odd X(X^2−1/4)^2 |
1/12 | −1/12 | 1/6 |
even (X^2−1/4)^2(X^2+1/2) |
3/4 | −3/4 | 3/2 |
| mixed with phi-profile | 5/4 | 1/8 | 9/8 |
generic (X^2−1/4)^2(1+2X−X^2)/2 |
25/48 | −1/48 | 13/24 |
The saved smallest-e ratios are within 10^-4 of these exact limits. That comparison is evidence that the saved numerics represent the intended branch; it is not a bound on their root/rounding error. The analytic branch argument here is local to the fixed polynomial shapes. It does not certify the numerical roots at each specified e, extend to every C² perturbation, or prove W.1.
M5 changes the actual first derivative. For the odd shape at the upper edge, r=−6, so a=1/2. The mutant yields a=1, leaving a nonzero first-order stationary-value residual 12a+r=6. Its normalized error therefore diverges like a nonzero multiple of 1/e. This is a mathematical rejection, independently of how the Newton/bisection experiment happens to behave.
7. C6: the formulas and limits are correct; quadrature is not certified
Set v1=1, m=s>0, v2=r^2. With P(a)=2Phi(a)−1, integration by parts gives
E[Z^2 1{|Z|<a}]=P(a)−2a phi(a).
Thus for S>0,
gam1(S)=(S^2−1)P(S)+2S phi(S);
part(S,c)=S^2 P(a)−P(a)+2a phi(a), a=min(S,c).
Both are zero for S<=0. These are exactly the code's formulas. The cutoff c=s/3 in part stays fixed while S=s+rZ varies, matching the fixed condition |E1|<m/3. Replacing it by S/3 would test a different quantity; the source does not make that mistake.
For fixed positive s and r tending to zero, Gaussian smoothing gives the small-variance limit one-half the second derivative at S=s. Direct differentiation yields
gam1''(s)/2=P(s)+2s phi(s).
For part with fixed c=s/3, S stays above c in a neighborhood of s and the local formula is a quadratic in S, so
part''(s,c)/2=P(s/3).
The ignored neighborhoods are separated from s by a positive distance; Gaussian tails times quadratic growth are negligible compared with r^2. Taylor's formula and these tail bounds justify the limits for each fixed s>0. No uniformity as s tends to zero is inferred without another argument.
The actual experiment takes eight s values from .02 through 8 and r=s/8 or s/32, hence sixteen points and m^2/v2>=64. It integrates over [-10,10] with composite Simpson, n=2000, using ordinary floats and library erf/exp. Neither the normal tail, Simpson error (including the piecewise cutoff), cancellation in subtraction, nor floating rounding has an enclosure. The computed lower-bound check allows values down to −10^-6; the printed label “0 <=” describes the target inequality, not a certified nonnegative computed result. At r=s/32, agreement with the fixed-s limits is checked only to 5% relative error. The sup strings are maxima on this finite grid, not continuum suprema. This stronger grid observation with constant 2 and no displayed tail does not replace Lemma E's absolute-constant-plus-tail proof.
M6 has an analytic counterexample mechanism. At s=1 the theta=1 limit is L=P(1)+2phi(1). Monotonicity of the normal density on [0,1] gives P(1)>=2phi(1). The elementary bounds pi<4 and exp(1/2)<2 give phi(1)>1/6, so L>2/3>1/4. The proven limit then makes the mutant bound fail for all sufficiently small positive v2. This is a genuine positive-variance counterexample existence proof. It is deliberately not labeled an exact certification of any particular Simpson grid row. Root's separate original-checker receipt confirms M6's actual grid rejection.
8. C7: scale arithmetic with necessary domain restrictions
For h>0 the split at t=h^(1/4) gives h^(3/4)[integral_0^1 u^2 du+integral_1^infinity u^-2 du]=(4/3)h^(3/4). The exact antiderivative arithmetic in C7 is correct; the scaling argument, positive h and integrability are essential.
For delta<5,
3−11/(5−delta)−3/4=(1−9delta)/(4(5−delta)).
Thus the threshold is delta<=1/9 on that domain, and the theorem's 0<delta<=1/10 is sufficient. The chosen exponent is 37/49. At delta=1/8 the exponent is 29/39, below 3/4 by 1/156: M7 is a substantive rate failure. The formal substitution in Prop. M yields u^-7/4 times a small-u factor u, hence exponent −3/4, which is integrable at zero. The Gaussian exponential provides the separate large-u integrability; C7's one arithmetic inequality does not prove that large-u condition by itself.
The infinite fold/cusp disjointness follows from parity: equality would imply 8k=7+6j, impossible for integers. The original sets contain only indices 0 through 199; enumeration alone cannot prove infinite disjointness. The direct parity proof supplies it. The two increasing sequences have next members after 1/3 equal to 3/4 and 1. The number 4/5 is in neither lattice: the would-be indices are 17/10 and 11/10. That fact neither derives an actual quintic contribution nor excludes logarithms. As the scope review explains, no-log and future-expansion claims need separate qualification. C7 explicitly records the heuristic 4/5 rather than claiming to derive it. The hardcoded remainder-improvement strings and older-exponent labels are records, not mathematical tests of the theorem.
9. Actual run evidence, correspondence and exclusions
This reader ran work/venv/bin/python -B -S controls-review/independent_controls.py once: exit0, 107 positives, seven adverse controls, exact assigned HEAD and clean Git status. It made zero candidate imports, zero published-checker runs, zero numeric quadrature runs, zero band/model builds, and no remote calls during the claimed controls review. The preceding separate PR206 discovery used read-only native GitHub calls and one executable-AST comparison, no source edits or tests.
Root ran the published matrix once on the same stable tree: CPython 3.11.16, normal and optimized modes, each with a baseline, M1–M7, unknown label and bare --mutant: 20 executions. Both baseline stdout files exactly equal the 4,713-byte RESULTS.json; both baseline stderr files are empty. All seven mutants in both modes exit1 in their own named control; malformed arguments exit2. Source before/after hashes match and source Git status is empty. This report does not claim a new local replay on CPython3.10,3.12,3.13 or3.14.
A separate read-only verify_receipts.py run exited0 with 94 receipt checks. It read all forty saved stdout/stderr files, recomputed their byte counts and SHA256, checked the matrix return codes/failure labels, compared both baselines to RESULTS, checked source-stability metadata, and applied the stricter 2% relative comparison to the saved C5 rows. Exact consumed MATRIX/SUMMARY and cross-read scope-report identities are in RECEIPTS.json. There were no failed control runs or mathematical iterations by this reader. An initial workspace-root AGENTS read and absent-new-PR206-object query failed harmlessly before explicit checkout paths/native fetching were used; they did not affect or mutate the C62 source.
The test history is retained in two scripts, their two logs, CHECKS.json and RECEIPTS.json. The written symbolic/domain reasoning is the proof of this scoped algebra; the counts and passing execution are not substituted for that reasoning.
Still outside this review: the full proofs of Lemma E, Lemma Phi, Lemma W/W.1, Prop.2.2+, Prop.M and theorem assembly; Gaussian supremum/conditioning estimates; authentication of the parent #214 proof and A–D review transfer; workflow/API drift behavior; current remote CI or merge readiness; author archive/exploration; the scope reader's two nonblocking reporting amendments; any higher-dimensional result, uniformity in covariance or real-line theorem. Nothing in C1–C7 or these receipts supplies those omitted premises. Within that boundary, the actual controls are mathematically meaningful and their saved results correspond to the exact candidate bytes.
Final coordinated cross-read: after the draft above, this reader read root REPORT, checked its controls summary and numerical boundaries against these derivations, and reported agreement. CROSS_READ.json preserves the exact report identity and relevant excerpt. A wording clarification was sent: even B cancels pathwise without needing centeredness. Root read this complete report, agreed with the scoped conclusion and requested freeze. That exchange supplies interface alignment only, not additional independence or a new theorem vote. No control or candidate execution followed the cross-read.
C62 source, review-interface and native execution audit
PASS_SCOPED for source identity and the recorded A–D carry-forward. No carry-forward defect was found. This report authenticates the dependency and review interfaces for PR238 at 0582232ef5b458dc47cd15ff97bbd536cbed2f71; it does not rereview the mathematics of A–D or decide the root-owned Slice E controls. PR214 remains the consumed, unmerged parent. Its acceptance includes supplementary public derivations, and its additional provider-distinct readback remains open. Those conditions must not disappear when the reviews are summarized.

SOURCES correctly distinguishes one consumed_unmerged proof, no merged consumed proofs, and four comparison-only proofs. Each source was obtained at its recorded immutable commit/path and checked for byte length, SHA-256 and framed Git blob. Missing local parent/historical commit objects were read through targeted GitHub contents endpoints; no Git fetch or candidate mutation was used. SOURCE_BINDINGS.json gives all fourteen staged object identities and exact copy paths.

The current parent SHA-256 is 0461cd82542507102818d9c08dd2f7d132966bdcbcb67b704ec78b498f26c7ec. Its live PR head equals the recorded head and it remains open/unmerged. Its proof is absent from the current PR238 tree. The missing local parent commit object prevents an independent local ancestry computation; the absence of the proof and the explicit native landing boundary are directly verified and suffice to preserve the integration hold.
The comparison sources occur in §5.3 and the corresponding discussion; they are not inputs to §§1–4. The workflow authenticates their historical pinned bytes without requiring their live heads to stay fixed. That is consistent with cited-only scope, not a silent current-head acceptance. Their status adjectives in this frozen source should be read historically. Sudakov–Fernique, Borell–TIS and Gaussian regression are the named external standard inputs; Slice B's existing review supplies the stated application interface. No new review of those theorems is asserted here. Private author/referee explorations listed by hash in SOURCES were not fetched and are not substituted for native nonauthor acceptance.
2. Actual A–D review coverage and successor equivalence
All six native PR238 reviews were fetched and preserved. Three reviews accept A/B/C at exactly the current proof and parent blobs. D has both an original analytic review and an explicit successor confirmation; it is not inferred merely from the author's label-only description.
| Scope | Actual native record | Reviewed object / boundary |
|---|---|---|
| A, §§1–2 | review5386542791 | Current 0582232 / 3b2ec970; Lemma E and Prop.2.2+; conditional on exact parent3389ef8c |

| xAI exponent note | review5386512094 | Exponent/label observation only; explicitly no proof acceptance and NOT READY |
For the parent, freshly fetched comment5933752065 accepts A–D and Theorem D1 at f4a58df9247dfa9ada2b756ecd7629c0b2faf5b5, proof873532b9, 44,378 B / SHA-256 279ed88ff2debd570e6426aec53cc93aabc7a298731cd9b25c45667a2c11077b. Comment5941929764 explicitly carries that same scoped acceptance to the renamed Theorem 1D at4703fc7. It says this is an identity check, not another mathematical or provider-distinct vote.
I independently obtained the old and new proofs and read their complete diffs. parent.diff consists of the version note and theorem/display/context label substitutions. The cf162b1c69086775594e150321200eb066c426ca parent refresh proof also equals the f4a58df proof byte-for-byte. D_successor.diff changes labels/binding/version prose and adds the specified Gaussian fourth/mixed-moment explanation in Proposition M. The native successor record explicitly addresses that addition. No undocumented mathematical replacement or carry-forward error was found. This is source-equivalence verification, not another proof of the added estimate.
The PR238 body and SOURCES' review inventory are historical/stale: they still mention only old D and call A/B/C open. Their omission is corrected by the actual native records above. xAI's older coverage inventory predates those deliveries, but its NOT READY vote is not withdrawn by chronological correction or by this report. The only remaining named PR238 review scope before C62 was E, now claimed by root; C62 does not retrospectively create extra A–D votes.
3. Retain the complete parent acceptance boundary
The parent acceptance is not acceptance of the bare manuscript with every printed bound unchanged. Comment5933752065 expressly binds the manuscript plus supplementary derivations in three public review records. The full reading set for that acceptance therefore includes:
- comment5930841283: repaired far conditional-density and weighted far-bound reconstruction;
- comment5931058934: thin estimates, explicit logarithmic bookkeeping, classification and assembly interfaces;
- comment5933752065: final A–C reconstruction and consolidation;
- comment5941929764: label-only carry-forward with all prior limitations preserved.
All four bodies are preserved exactly under evidence/. SOURCES refers to the consolidated acceptance in prose, but does not individually bind the two earlier supplementary records. A source-bound delivery should retain these records explicitly. This is a dependency-documentation clarification; it is not evidence that the conditional A–D conclusions fail.
The retained parent manuscript clarifications are: f_o(tau)=-h/2; the sufficient explicit O(h log(1/h)^(3/2)) far-end thin cutoff bound rather than the stronger printed logarithm; the relative density expansion range 0<=alpha<=tau^-1 (or its absolute-value form); and the global-maximum alternative in negative rejection. The parent review supplies the needed derivations at its fixed-covariance circle/canonical-density scope. C62 neither silently rewrites the manuscript nor deletes those qualifications. In particular, PR238's use of the parent's O(h^(3/4)) thin conclusion must retain the sufficient reviewed logarithmic calculation.
PR214's body initially still listed its own Slice E as open. A bounded fresh-comments check found a new, distinct pickup5943100696 and delivered/released review5387031124, read back in5943152108 at00:15:50Z. I fetched that exact review: it accepts the d=1 C1/I coefficient comparison and public-control reproduction, retains E-LIT attribution AMEND for the Pérez sentence, and marks outside-packet exploration UNVERIFIED/excluded. It expressly avoided C62's PR238 E scope. This updates observed coverage; it does not create a new acceptance by this reader.
The provider-distinct readback requested in5940563636 remains open, and the new same-OpenAI parent E review explicitly does not satisfy it or release xAI's hold. Parent E is not covertly a mathematical premise of PR238 §§1–4, but its source/integration disposition remains separate. The proposed E-LIT correction changes no accepted coefficient or A–D conclusion; if it changes the consumed PROOF bytes, PR238 still needs an explicit successor/rebinding check before landing. The new parent review also reports unresolved/outdated repaired inline threads for the integration lane; this audit does not claim to resolve them. The landing order remains exact parent preservation/landing first, then current-head integration gates for PR238. No integration owner or permission is assigned here.
4. Current CI and actual tested objects
Both live check collections show four successful checks: exact-controls, downstream-replay, formal/formal-evidence and math-downstream-gates. This does not make either PR merged or override any review hold.
| PR | exact-controls run / job | Actual checked-out test merge | Test base |
|---|---|---|---|
| 238 | 36934715676 / 110612159028 | d51374b | 5a836a8 |
| 214 | 36933973270 / 110609749229 | 6ff11ed | 5a836a8 |
The logs print those exact checkout identities. They were fetched, preserved as exact decoded text and bound to the successful check-run IDs. The PR238 log further prints the consumed parent path, blob3389ef8c, recorded head4703fc7 and current_ref_checked4703fc7. Its comparison-only pins print current_ref_checked null, as intended by the workflow.
The tested commits were unavailable locally. Targeted immutable GitHub directory/content reads verify all five tested packet blob/size pairs against the reviewed heads and verify the complete workflow bytes. For PR238, the tested packet and workflow equal the local authenticated source. For PR214, current and tested packet directory entries and workflow bytes agree, including the exact consumed proof. This does not assert equivalence of every unrelated file on the whole tested merge.
The successful strict PR238 workflow reaches its final mathematical_acceptance:false marker only after both normal and optimized outputs match RESULTS, all seven mutants exit1 in their named control, and bare/unknown mutant arguments exit2. PR214's corresponding workflow checks both modes, its listed mutant exit codes and M9 exit2; it does not implement the same own-control-name checks as PR238. The runner captures individual subprocess output, so no independent per-mode output hashes are printed. This report describes the observed successful execution and its checked workflow semantics, not a new local run.
Decoded logs:

The fresh PR214 metadata reports basefb6ee97 whereas its execution log records test base5a836a8; these distinct observations are preserved rather than conflated. Root/integrator must reconcile actual head/base and run fresh gates at the intended landing state. CI_RECEIPT.json preserves the exact observations. Root separately owns the C62 workflow adversarial harness and fresh normal/optimized checker matrix.
5. Verification, findings and exclusions
bind.py completed with fourteen exact source objects; all declared packet/dependency hashes agree. The first custody attempt encountered a locally missing parent commit and stopped before reporting success; targeted immutable API reads then supplied the missing objects. The corrected custody run passed. This was an availability issue, not candidate drift or a mathematical failure. The script imports no candidate module and runs no checker.
The actionable findings are documentary: preserve the parent's supplementary review reading set and outstanding clarifications; update the stale A–D inventory when the author next revises the disposition; preserve the explicit parent-first landing and provider-distinct-readback boundaries. No unreviewed A–D source change or false successor transfer was found. There is no additional mathematical acceptance here, no certification of exploratory numerical claims or heuristic next-order terms, no real-line or higher-dimensional extension, no uniform-in-covariance remainder, no cap-D1 revision, and no scientific status promotion.

PASS_TECHNICAL for the requested v1.2 amendment delta. E-SCOPE-01 and E-SCOPE-02 are resolved in the reviewed content. The new LemmaW locality sentence is valid on both edge intervals. The parent is now bound to the reviewed214 v1.3 proof and retains all three supplementary derivations. Root adopts the separately completed parent mathematical delta and the frozen consumer cross-read; this acceptance is no longer awaiting that internal delta check. All original imported mathematical conditions remain.
Disjoint formal exponent families do not imply a log-free later expansion: h log(1/h)=o(h^(3/4)) is a correct counterexample. The degree40 Gaussian series is a finite nonstationary model, whose variance deficit at1 is strictly greater than1/(3·41!). Its exact finite-model conditioning formula does not certify numerical rounding, omitted modes or simulation. The revised manuscript and README now say so.
The exact parent214 must be preserved/landed first and current-state gates rerun before238 integration. The retained provider-distinct/xAI disposition is not overwritten.

The two historical findings E-SCOPE-01 and E-SCOPE-02 are resolved in the reviewed proof and corresponding README text. The added Lemma W paragraph accurately explains why critical points outside the local window cannot change the elder decision. The new dependency declaration preserves the parent's supplementary derivations and the sufficient logarithmic bound. No new mathematical defect was found in these changes.
This accepts only the requested downstream delta. It does not freshly accept A–D, the parent theorem, or all of Theorem 1D⁺. The separately assigned parent mathematical delta has now passed in /root/c65_parent_delta's final exact-source report, which was read and is bound in PARENT_REVIEW_BINDING.json; its original limits are retained. Root owns combined adoption and the separately assigned parent literature amendment. Existing fixed-circle, fixed-covariance, canonical-density, source-preservation and integration conditions remain in force.
Actual executor: OpenAI/Codex /root/c65_consumer_delta, a source-exposed nonauthor reader coordinated by root. The prior five-file packet at 0582232ef5b458dc47cd15ff97bbd536cbed2f71 was hash-reused from C62, with fresh digest checks against work/continuation62/source/INVENTORY.json. The checker and RESULTS are byte-identical. All five text diffs are retained beside this report. No author checker was run by this reader.
The complete current/prior diff, the full local Lemma W proof and its definitions, the changed remarks and source declarations, the historical C62 scope report, and exact native Slice C review 5386932211 were read. Historical Slice E review 5387084565 came from root's fresh native review collection; its original disposition and limits are retained. Exposure to these earlier analyses preceded the present derivation; no source-naivety is claimed.
The three parent supplementary comments, label carry-forward comment, and parent Slice E review were reused from C62 only after fresh SHA256/byte checks against its interface manifest. Their exact copies and custody identities are retained in evidence/ and REUSED_SOURCE_IDENTITY.json. The parent's new proof was hashed against the consumer manifest, but its analytic amendment review belongs to the separately assigned parent reader.
1. Lemma W: the new locality sentence is valid
The unchanged notation sets the maximum at X=-1/2, level 0, and the proposed saddle/death point at X=1/2, level -1. An arc stops contributing at its first higher crossing. Once an arc has fallen strictly below -1 before that crossing, its minimum cannot later be raised to -1 by extending the arc. These are statements about the elder decision; outside critical points may affect a minimum already below the threshold without reversing the decision.
For phi in J+, the already established local geometry gives exactly one negative-side minimum and both arcs reach level greater than 0 inside the window. The negative-side crossing is before X=-2; the positive-side crossing is before X=3/2. Thus both relevant arc segments end before any outside-window critical point. Their minima are respectively mu+(phi) and -1. The added sentence neither changes the edge criterion mu+<-1 nor requires information about the continuation outside the window.
For phi in J-, the negative arc drops below -1 locally before a higher crossing. A direct bound, independent of any symmetry assumption on the perturbation, makes this explicit. The model is
g_phi(X)=2X^3-(3/2)X-1/2+3phi(X^2-1/4)^2.
For phi in [-103/300,-97/300], g_phi(-1)<=-2473/1600. Double endpoint vanishing gives |eta_phi(-1)|<=epsilon/8. Taking the already allowed epsilon<=1/10 yields
F_phi(-1)<=-2453/1600<-1.
On [-1,-1/2), the derivative factorization gives g_phi'(X)>=6|X+1/2|, whereas |eta_phi'(X)|<=epsilon|X+1/2|. Hence, moving in the negative direction from the maximum, the field decreases to this value without first exceeding 0. Thus m-<-1 is already fixed locally.
The positive arc in J- reaches the local maximum near X=3/2. If that maximum exceeds 0, its first higher crossing ends the arc and m+=-1. If it does not exceed 0, the arc drops below -1 by X=2: the stated exact model margin is g_phi(2)+1<=-9/64, while the endpoint perturbation costs at most 9epsilon/8<=9/80, leaving the strict margin -9/320. Then m+<-1 is settled before leaving the window. The equality edge is already excluded in W.1. If the maximum is globally highest and has no finite elder partner, that is also rejection, consistent with the parent's explicit global-maximum alternative.
The mirrored model relation can transport the old edge geometry because -eta_{-phi}(-X) still has the same C² bound and double endpoint zeros. It does not require an even or odd perturbation. No root uniqueness, edge asymptotic or complete W.1 re-review is claimed here; those remain within the original Slice C acceptance. The new paragraph accurately records their local-versus-global consequence.
2. E-SCOPE-01 is resolved
Equality of the formal fold and cusp exponents would require
-1/3+2k/3=1/4+j/2, hence 8k=7+6j.
The left side is even and the right side odd, so the formal families are disjoint for every integer pair. This proves absence of their mutual power resonance. It does not prove absence of logarithms in later integrals.
The exact logical counterexample now quoted by the manuscript is correct:
F(h)=integral_h^1 (h/t) dt=h log(1/h), for 0<h<1.
Writing u=log(1/h)>0 gives F(h)/h^(3/4)=u exp(-u/4), bounded by 4/e and tending to zero. Thus this logarithmic term is actually o(h^(3/4)). Its power 1 lies in the fold family at k=2. This is a counterexample to the old no-log implication, not an assertion that the candidate density has this term, and it is compatible with the proved remainder bound.
For the quintic scaling, integrating the envelope h^3 t^-12 over [a h^(1/5),b h^(1/5)] gives
((a^-11-b^-11)/11) h^(4/5) for fixed 0<a<b.
That dimensional calculation does not establish a nonzero term in either actual density or exclude cancellations and other orders. The new proof explicitly calls the later sequence formal power counting, states that a full later expansion is not proved, and disclaims both a nonzero h^(4/5) term and the absence of later logarithms. The README matches these limitations. The original sharpness, covariance and dimension exclusions remain intact. The historical nonblocking E-SCOPE-01 reporting finding is therefore resolved.
3. E-SCOPE-02 is resolved
For independent standard Gaussian coefficients, finite summation and bilinearity give exactly
Cov(f40(x),f40(y))=exp(-(x^2+y^2)/2) sum_(n=0)^40 (xy)^n/n!.
The infinite series would give exp(-(x-y)^2/2). At x=y=1, the finite-model variance deficit is
delta=1-exp(-1) sum_(n=0)^40 1/n!=exp(-1) sum_(n=41)^infinity 1/n!.
All omitted terms are positive, so delta>exp(-1)/41!. Also e<3: compare n!>=2^(n-1) for n>=2, with a strict inequality from n=3 onward, and sum the geometric majorant. Consequently
delta>1/(3*41!)=1/100357579839491421324510186160322254995456000000000.
At zero the variance is exactly 1, so this finite process is nonstationary. Its diagonal mismatch is small but strictly positive. The new covariance and lower-bound statements in §5.4 are mathematically exact.
Matheron's formula is an exact conditioning identity for the finite Gaussian model, provided its relevant covariance inverse exists. Computing coefficients at 60 digits is not an exact-arithmetic certificate or a certified approximation to the infinite stationary process. The revised text expressly states that no truncation, rounding or sampling bound is certified and changes the reported conditional values to values "in the finite model". The README likewise identifies the actual truncation and its covariance. In this context, "conditioned exactly" describes the finite-model identity; it is not read as a certification of numerical arithmetic.
No exploration program, sample table, Monte Carlo uncertainty or limiting coefficient was reproduced or newly certified here. The amendment resolves the historical E-SCOPE-02 factual reporting finding, while leaving the exploration outside the proof's accepted inputs.
4. Parent binding and acceptance boundary
The consumer now binds only the following mathematical parent:
Math- #214, head 54666d26e11a576ae3138b54a42268152eff6ca5, frontiers/d1_third_order_law_20261001/PROOF.md, 46,313 bytes, SHA256 a1b5e6ecc97341ad72d74973c69c0f94304b22c559ab0187310ef2bd73455804, Git blob 1591ecee3c82c8b42cb3220189ea0a4ce4bf195f.
Its new §6 and consumed_acceptance_boundary name all three supplementary review records: far reconstruction 5930841283, thin/classification/assembly reconstruction 5931058934, and consolidated A–C/final acceptance 5933752065, together with label carry-forward 5941929764. The listed clarifications agree with those records: the negative odd pin value, nonnegative bounded alpha domain, explicit O(h(log(1/h))^(3/2)) cutoff calculation, and global-maximum alternative.
The consumer explicitly uses the parent Lemma 4.3 O(h^(3/4)) conclusion through that sufficient logarithmic calculation. Its absorption is valid: with u=log(1/h), the ratio to h^(3/4) is exp(-u/4)u^(3/2), which tends to zero. This does not restore the previously unsupported smaller logarithmic factor. The separate parent's final REPORT.md and REVIEW.json were read: they give DELTA_ACCEPT to mathematical hunks 2–5 at exactly the bound head/blob, retain all three historical supplements and original scope, and expressly exclude its separately assigned E-LIT/hunk 6. This report consumes that bounded delta verdict, not a replacement proof of the parent. Root owns combined publication and source-state gates.
The parent Slice E acceptance is limited to its coefficient comparison and public controls. Its outside-repository exploration remains unverified and unused by this consumer. The requested provider-distinct parent readback remains open, xAI's NOT READY has not been withdrawn, and the parent-first preservation/landing and current-state gate conditions remain. Updated review inventory is a historical record, not a new set of independent acceptances.
The unchanged higher-dimensional packets remain comparison-only. Their mathematical validity, landing status and any general higher-dimensional theorem were not re-reviewed in this lane. There is no newly imported later expansion or numerical hypothesis in §§1–4.
Verification and limits
python3 -B -S work/continuation65/consumer-review/independent_delta_checks.py passed once. It imports no candidate code and uses exact standard-library fractions. Its 14 checks cover a rigorous rational bracket for the variance deficit, the exponent bookkeeping, and concrete local edge margins. Four adverse controls reject stationary variance, reversed deficit sign, the wrong omitted factorial index, and an unjustified wider edge interval. These are corroborating arithmetic checks; the analytic arguments above establish the asserted scope.
Actual work in this lane: six native read-only fetches (five immutable packet files and prior Slice C review); five current/prior packet identity comparisons and retained diffs; hash-reuse of five historical parent review records; new parent source digest comparison; one independent rational script execution. Zero candidate-checker runs, zero candidate mutant runs, zero simulations, zero whole-repository builds, zero Drive crawls and zero remote writes. Root owns fresh engineering/CI/source-drift gates. An initial shell python lookup failed because only python3 was present; the corrected command succeeded before any identity claim. A lookup confirmed there is no AGENTS.md at the workspace wrapper root; the cached Math- AGENTS.md was read and its existing scientific-status constraints preserved under the explicit resumed review delegation.
No unresolved finding remains in the requested consumer delta. All imported mathematical and integration limits are preserved; no whole-theorem, human, provider-distinct, merger or scientific-status approval is issued by this report.
C65 consumer mathematical interface cross-read
Disposition: PASS_SCOPED. The consumer review's Lemma W locality argument is sound on both stated edge intervals, and its new parent reference preserves the accepted source-plus-supplements object. No new mathematical defect or required precision correction was found. This is a cross-read of the requested interfaces, not another full consumer or parent theorem review.
Actual performer: OpenAI Codex, source-exposed nonauthor, coordinated with the parent and consumer reviewers under root's R17 claim 0afce045-91bc-421a-84ee-d6813c9d274b. Dylan Roy — delegated AI review; personal reading PENDING; organizational-independence credit 0; scientific effect NONE; C8 OPEN. This is a second look within the same coordinated OpenAI review, not a provider-distinct acceptance. No remote writes, candidate edits, author-checker run, independent-script rerun, simulation, or branch action occurred.
Cross-checked analytic interface
I read consumer-review/REPORT.md and INDEPENDENT_CHECKS.json, the corresponding proof definitions and Lemma W at lines 274–368, the parent boundary at lines 546–568, and the relevant exact-arithmetic script without executing it. The requested new locality paragraph is at proof lines 360–362. Exact reviewed file identities are recorded in CONSUMER_CROSSREAD.json.
The intervals are J+=[97/300,103/300] and J-=[-103/300,-97/300]. Since |phi|<2 on both, the lemma's epsilon bound controls the C2 norm of eta_phi. At either pin x0, double vanishing gives |eta_phi(X)| <= (epsilon/2)(X-x0)^2 and |eta_phi'(X)| <= epsilon|X-x0|. Thus the endpoint witnesses used by the consumer report require no perturbation symmetry.
For J+, the unchanged local critical-point result gives one negative-side minimum. Independently checking the endpoint margins at epsilon<=1/10 gives
- F(-2) >= 9/64 - 9/80 = 9/320 > 0;
- F(3/2) >= 197/25 - 1/20 = 783/100 > 0.
Both arcs therefore reach values above the maximum's level inside the window. The positive arc has minimum exactly -1 by the unchanged pinned local geometry; the negative arc has minimum mu+(phi). The death decision is consequently determined before any outside-window critical point is reached. Root uniqueness and the detailed edge asymptotics are preexisting interfaces, not newly established by this cross-read.
For J-, the consumer supplies the missing explicit negative-arc witness rather than relying on an unjustified symmetry of the perturbation. The model at -1 has upper bound -2473/1600; the perturbation adds at most epsilon/8, giving F(-1)<=-2453/1600<-1. On [-1,-1/2), the factorization g'=6(X+1/2)(X-1/2)(1+2phi X) gives g'>=6|X+1/2|. Subtracting the derivative perturbation still leaves F'>0, so travel in the negative direction decreases F before any higher crossing. This fixes the negative-arc rejection below -1 locally.
The positive arc first reaches the proposed minimum and then the old local maximum. If this maximum is positive, a higher crossing terminates that arc with minimum -1. If it is nonpositive, there is no earlier positive crossing, and F(2)+1<=-9/64+9/80=-9/320<0. Its eventual minimum is then already below -1 before leaving the window. The equality edge is excluded by W.1. If the pinned maximum is global, there is no finite partner; the report explicitly retains that alternative. Hence outside points cannot reverse the elder decision in either case.
The report's useful precision is correct: locality concerns the binary elder decision. Outside critical points can change the eventual numerical minimum of an arc already known to lie below -1. “Play no part” must not be read as saying those numerical minima are invariant under every continuation. The report already makes this distinction, so no edit is required.
The mirrored perturbation -eta_{-phi}(-X) preserves the same norm and endpoint zeros. It can transport the elementary local geometry without assuming the original eta is even or odd. This verifies the report's use of reflection at its stated limited scope.
Parent binding
The consumer's proof and manifest bind PR214 at head 54666d2, proof blob 1591ecee3c82c8b42cb3220189ea0a4ce4bf195f, 46,313 bytes, SHA-256 a1b5e6ecc97341ad72d74973c69c0f94304b22c559ab0187310ef2bd73455804. That is the exact parent object accepted by my separate four-hunk delta report.
The consumer expressly retains supplementary records 5930841283, 5931058934 and 5933752065 plus label carry-forward 5941929764. It lists all four clarifications and consumes the parent's O(h^(3/4)) thin conclusion through O(h log(1/h)^(3/2)). The ratio exp(-u/4)u^(3/2), u=log(1/h), tends to zero. There is no restoration of the unsupported smaller logarithmic power, no removal of weighted-tail/classification supplements, and no importation of private numerical exploration.
The final report retains fixed circle length, fixed covariance satisfying (H), canonical density versions, the original exclusions, and the open provider-distinct/integration conditions. It reads and binds the completed parent delta in PARENT_REVIEW_BINDING.json, consumes only its mathematical hunks 2–5 verdict, and expressly preserves its E-LIT/hunk 6 exclusion. Combined adoption and publication remain root's responsibility; this cross-read itself does not perform them or decide E-LIT.
Verification limits
INDEPENDENT_CHECKS.json's four edge-margin records match the analytic inequalities above. I also inspected the corresponding script expressions for the actual endpoints and epsilon=1/10; the wider-interval adverse control rejects a crossing margin that fails. This is a static cross-check of the recorded arithmetic and proof, not a rerun or a new certification of every item in the consumer's 14-check collection. E-SCOPE-01 and E-SCOPE-02 are outside this assigned cross-read.
The exact file hashes in the companion JSON make this disposition invalid for any later unreviewed edit to these review artifacts. Root retains publication and source-drift responsibilities.

Its edges move by−η_{±1/3}(∓3/2)/12 + O(ε²); the slope of the competing critical valueΓ_±is12at±1/3. Alsoφ₊ − φ₋ − 2/3 = O(3/2)/6 − Ê(3/2)/18 + O(ε²): the even remainder only translates the window.O(t² + (t/κ)²)of the edge mass,O(h^{3/4})in total.O(h^{1/2})Why (1D.2) gains. #214 bounded the misclassification by the window fluctuation
O(t/κ)in absolute value. Here, conditionally on everything exceptφ_G, the elder set is an interval with endpoints independent ofφ_G. So the misclassified mass is first order only in the mean of the first-order part ofφ₊ − φ₋ − 2/3, and second order in the fluctuation. That mean isO(t²)for three reasons:Ê = O(t²);E[f^{(5)} | pins] ∝ α ≍ κt. For the Gaussian kernel,E_QO(3/2) = −6t²(1 + O(t²)).Dependencies

Two clean-context referees (Anthropic Claude subagents) read the whole note against #214 at its pinned blob. Referee A took §§0–3.1; referee B took §§3.2–8, the controls, the workflow and the README.
First pass: both ACCEPT WITH MINOR FIXES, with no MAJOR findings. There were seven minor findings, 18 nits and one remark; all are applied. The minor ones:
