C6 remote coefficient numerics in d = 3: cone quadrature, holes, exact controls (scientific effect NONE) - #192
Conversation
…rols Add frontiers/c6_remote_coefficient_d3_numerics_20260930: an author-side numerical note evaluating the [RM] (13) contact kernel Lambda(x) in d = 3 for the Gaussian kernel with exact nested Gauss-Legendre quadrature over the transverse Hessian cone, weight-proportional sampling of the conditioned far-point Hessian under common random numbers, cylinder hole integrals (k = 1/2, 1, 3/2 at b = 0, 1), ray profiles, and exact far-field controls (ordered-eigenvalue GOE quadrature, BBKS level-integrated index densities reproduced to 1e-12). The assembled nu_1, nu_2 use the hard- direction factor R_3(b) from the companion factorization packet. Checker: stdlib-only remote3.py with --check (exact controls, sample-kernel replays at transverse, diagonal and axis points to 1e-9) and three mutants (hermite-sign, det-abs, weight-indicator), all rejected; RESULTS.json is byte-identical under -B -S and -B -O -S. Workflow replays the manifest, six main-resident pins, both check modes and the mutants. Scientific effect: NONE. Certified: false. No STATUS, PROOF_INDEX, GRAPH or catalog edits. Overall verdict: ACCEPT_WITH_FINDINGS. Claude-scale verdict: AMEND (no BLOCK). The Slice A mathematics is correct, and I reproduced every stated number independently. The amends fix a provenance mismatch in RESULTS.json (F1), an ambiguous normalization statement (F2), and some wording, attribution and precision claims (F3–F6). Scientific effect stays NONE. This is a numerical note: no lemma is closed or certified and no obligation is discharged by it or by this review.

Q1. Is [RM] (13) faithfully instantiated in d=3? Yes.
NOTE:12–16 matches [RM] (13) term by term. U_0 and v_0 match [RM] (4) at d=3: (f, f_x, f_xx, f_xxx, f_y, f_z, f_xy, f_xz) = (b, 0, 0, 12k, 0, …). A_0 is the 2×2 transverse Hessian, and w_0 = (6k)²(det A_0)² 1{A_0<0} is [RM] (10). The Kac–Rice integrand is the density of the 4-vector Y_x = (∇f, f)(x) at (0, b). The code uses (2π)^(-4/2) (-2 log 2π, remote3.py:306), which is correct. |det H_x| enters exactly once, through F_j (abs at :383), as [RM] after (12) requires. Index = number of negative eigenvalues (the [RM] F_j convention, so j=3 is a maximum). n_negative3 uses Jacobi's sign-change rule; I found 0 mismatches against eigvalsh in 2×10^5 random symmetric matrices. In the code, cov = (-1)^|α| ∂^(α+β)K(t-s) and ∂^n e^(-y²/2) = (-1)^n He_n e^(-y²/2); both are correct. The cone Jacobian of 2 for (a,c,e) → (A_yy, A_yz, A_zz) and the (2π)^(-3/2) in cone_nodes are correct. One caveat: [RM] states (13) for the periodized K_L on the torus X, while the packet evaluates the same formula with the continuum K. That is legitimate, but it should be worded as such (F5).
Q2. Is the decoupling limit right? Yes. b is a level in units of σ0 = 1, and Λ_inf = Σ_j Λ_inf_j.
Derivation. As |x|→∞ all cross-covariances are O(|x|^n e^(-|x|²/2)). The density factorizes as p_∇f(0)·p_f(b) = (2π)^(-3/2)φ(b), where (2π)^(-3/2) is the N(0, I_3) gradient density at 0 with per-component Var ∂_i f = 1. Also E[w_0 F_j | ·] → z_0 E[F_j(H) | f=b, ∇f=0]. From 4th derivatives of K (sympy): Var f_ii = 3, Cov(f_ii, f_jj) = 1, Var f_ij = 1, Cov(f, f_ii) = -1, and ∇f is independent of (f, H). Hence H | f=b is -bI + G_3 with diagonal variance 3-1 = 2, diagonal covariance 1-1 = 0 and off-diagonal variance 1, i.e. GOE(2,1). That is the stated formula. The code's ordered-eigenvalue density c_m(2π)^(-m(m-1)/4) Π φ2 Δ follows from [SC] (8) together with Mehta's integral, and I checked it algebraically.
Independent recomputation. The method differs from the packet's: a Schur block with H = [[a, vᵀ], [v, B]] gives det H = μ1μ2·a − R·κ(t), and Haynsworth inertia gives the index. The (a, R) expectation is a closed-form normal-minus-exponential, and the 3-D (s, ρ, t) integral uses mapped Gauss–Legendre. Separately, I ran direct entrywise Monte Carlo with eigvalsh (10^8 and 2×10^8 samples).

Q3. Do the BBKS controls hold at (σ0, σ1, σ2²) = (1, 1, 15)? Yes, with one terminology caveat (F2).
BBKS uses σ_j² = ∫k^(2j)P. So σ1² = E|∇f|² = 3: σ1 is not 1 in BBKS's own convention. Per component Var ∂_i f = 1. σ2² = E(Δf)² = 3·3 + 6·1 = 15, which is the Laplacian variance; per entry, Var f_ii = 3 and Var f_ij = 1. Then R_* = √3σ1/σ2 = 3/√15, and n_pk = (29−6√6)/(5^(3/2)·2(2π)²R_³) simplifies exactly (sympy difference = 0) to (29√3−18√2)/(72π²) = 0.0348624089370. If σ1 = 1 is plugged into R_, the result is too large by 3√3. For the saddles I could not find the formula in BBKS (UNVERIFIED attribution). Azaïs–Delmas (arXiv:1911.02300, Prop. 3.7, as displayed on ar5iv) gives (29±6√6)/(12√6 π²√2)(λ4/3λ2)^(3/2). At λ2 = 1, λ4 = 3 this equals (29√3±18√2)/(72π²); the minus sign also reproduces BBKS. The code compares each index separately: j=0 and j=3 against the "extrema" value, j=1 and j=2 against the "saddles" value (remote3.py:494–497). That matches the NOTE's "for maxima and for minima / for each saddle index", and it tests index 0 and 3 versus 1 and 2 individually, not sums. Reviewer level integrals (quadrature, coarse grid): 0.034862406 and 0.106507302, agreeing with the closed forms to 1e-7 relative. MC: 0.0348659(22), 0.1065006(24), 0.1065394(24), 0.0348627(22). Stored packet differences: 2.7e-12, −1.7e-12, −1.7e-12, −5.2e-11 (F4).
Q4. Is z_0 = 36k² m_(3,b), with m_(3,0) = (7−4√2)/2? Yes.
z_0 = E[w_0 | U_0 = v_0] ([RM] (11), Math-#184 Lemma 2). The factor 36k² = (6k)² comes from H_M ≈ diag(−6kr, A_0) and H_S ≈ diag(6kr, A_0). I checked this independently: the cubic Hermite fit with f′(±r/2) = 0 and f(S)−f(M) = −kr³ forces f‴ = 12k, so f_xx(±r/2) = ±6kr, and W_r/r² → 36k²(det A_0)²1{A_0<0}. In controls k cancels between weighted and z_0. I verified the rational regression A_0 | U_0 = −bI_2 + GOE(2,1) by hand and by sympy; the coefficient on f_xxx vanishes, so the law is k-free. mpmath 2-D quadrature of E[(s²−ρ²)²1{s<−ρ}] with s ~ N(−b,1) and ρ e^(−ρ²/2) gives m_(3,0) = 0.67157287525380990, equal to (7−4√2)/2 to 20 digits, and m_(3,1) = 5.5480602736336839 (packet 5.5480602736). MC: 0.67140 ± 0.00049 and 5.5487 ± 0.0020. The cone-quadrature mass at x_far matches m3(b) to 4.3e-9 (b=0) and 1.3e-8 (b=1); the NOTE says 1e-8.
Q5. Is the far field stated as a continuum-only claim? Mostly yes; tighten the wording (F5).
NOTE:19, §5, the module docstring (remote3.py:2–3) and the RESULTS key kernel: "exp(-|x|^2/2), continuum, d = 3" all say continuum, and the torus totals carry approx_ keys. But NOTE:27 ("At separation |x| → ∞") and the far_field docstring (:251) do not say that the limit exists only for K, not for K_L on X, where |x| ≤ √3L/2.
Findings
- P2: RESULTS.json:106–117 does not match full_run.
controls.far_mc_over_quadrature_b{0,1}were produced from the 40000-sample seed-2026 array, which is whatcheck_runuses. They were not produced from the 160000-sample concatenation thatfull_runpasses (remote3.py:504–509). I reproduced the stored values bit-for-bit from seed 2026 alone. The concatenation instead gives [0.9863, 1.0028, 1.0011, 1.0841] at b=0 and [0.9821, 0.9949, 1.0013, 1.0247] at b=1. So NOTE:130 ("regenerates RESULTS.json deterministically") is false for this block. Change remote3.py:509 tores['controls'] = controls(zbatches[0]) # 40000 samples, seed 2026, as in check_run, and append "(40000 samples, seed 2026)" after "1.137atb = 0" in NOTE:102. Alternative: keep the code, regenerate the block and replace NOTE:102 with0.986, 1.003, 1.001, 1.084. - P2: the normalization statement is ambiguous (NOTE:35–36; remote3.py:486). Replace "(unit kernel:
sigma_0 = 1, per-componentsigma_1 = 1,sigma_2^2 = 15)" with "(unit kernel:Var f = 1;Var f_i = 1per component, i.e. BBKSsigma_1^2 = E|grad f|^2 = 3;Var f_ii = 3,Cov(f_ii, f_jj) = Var f_ij = 1, i.e. BBKSsigma_2^2 = E(Lap f)^2 = 15;R_* = sqrt3 sigma_1/sigma_2 = 3/sqrt15)". Make the same edit in the code comment. - P3: attribution (NOTE:37; remote3.py:487). Replace "(Bardeen–Bond–Kaiser–Szalay 1986)" with "(maxima/minima: Bardeen–Bond–Kaiser–Szalay 1986, n_pk; index 1 and 2: Azaïs–Delmas, arXiv:1911.02300, Prop. 3.7)". Optionally rename the keys
closed_form_extrema/_saddlestoclosed_form_per_extremal_index/_per_saddle_index(remote3.py:492–493 and RESULTS.json:96–97). - P3: overstated precision (NOTE:38). Replace "reproduces all four to
1e-12" with "reproduces all four to6e-11(absolute; check tolerance1e-9)". The stored maximum difference is 5.2e-11 at j=3, becausecontrolsuses n=24. - P3: continuum wording (NOTE:19, NOTE:27, remote3.py:251). NOTE:19: replace "this note does
d = 3for the continuum kernelK(x) = exp(-|x|^2/2)" with "this note evaluates the formula (13) ind = 3with the continuum covarianceK(x) = exp(-|x|^2/2)in place of [RM]'sK_L; no [RM] theorem is asserted for it". NOTE:27: prefix "For the continuum kernelKonly (on the torus|x| <= sqrt3 L/2andK_Ldoes not decorrelate),". In remote3.py:251, append to the docstring: "Continuum kernel K on R^3 only; not a statement about K_L or the torus." - P3: weak and ill-defined far-point control (remote3.py:577–579; NOTE:128). At b=0, j=0 and j=3 carry equal mass, so "three largest indices" is not well defined; the code checks j=0,1,2. Over 12 fresh seeds at 40000 samples, the s.d. of the ratio is 8.0%, 1.4%, 1.3% and 6.0% for j=0..3 (37% for j=0 at b=1), so a 10% gate on j=0 is close to a coin toss. Replace NOTE:128 "for the three largest indices" with "for
j = 0, 1, 2atb = 0(s.d. at 40000 samples about8 %, 1.4 %, 1.3 %resp.)". Better: gate j=1,2 at 5% and drop j=0. Neither 1.137 (40000 samples, about 2.3σ) nor 1.084 (160000) indicates a bias: the mean over 12 seeds is 0.969 ± 0.017.
I found no sign, factor-of-2, index-count or absolute-value bug in the Slice A paths. The hermite-sign mutant is caught only by the stored replay, not by any exact control: one-site and decoupled controls cannot see odd-order sign errors. That is a remark, not a defect.
Not checked
NOTE §2–§5 numerics beyond the Slice A quotes: the hole integral, ray profiles, grid study, R_3(b), assembled ν (Slices B and on). The full remote3.py run (~1 h). The workflow's pin and hash verification and its 20-min timeout under CI. Math-#184 Theorem 1 and R_3. [RM] proofs (Theorem A, (5)–(12)), which I took as written. The BBKS 1986 paper text itself: I used the n_pk formula as given in the brief, so its use is consistent but UNVERIFIED against the original. Likewise the Azaïs–Delmas λ conventions, which I only saw in an ar5iv extract (UNVERIFIED, though self-consistent with BBKS). Reviewer scripts are local to the reviewer's machine and are available on request.
No flag is changed (lemma_closed, prizes_solved, discharges_OBL_H5_JETMOD, certified_C_H, freeze, inventable_attempt_accepted untouched); OBL stays OPEN; engineering is not discharge.

Findings
R2-B-01 (a) 21-jet covariance: correct. I derived the covariance by symbolic differentiation of C(s,t) = exp(-|t-s|^2/2) in s and t separately (sympy, 40-digit evaluation). This route does not use the (-1)^|alpha| identity or Hermite polynomials. I compared it with remote3.cov for all 21×21 entries (8 U_0 + 3 A_0 at 0; 4 Y_x + 6 H_x at x) at 6 points, including near-pin (0.2,0.2,0), off-plane (1.1,-0.7,0.45) and (10,0,0). Max deviation over 2,646 entries: 2.2e-16. The same-site rational table cov_point_exact matches exactly (0). The jet orderings (OBS0, A0J = yy,yz,zz, OBSX = f_x,f_y,f_z,f, HXJ = xx,xy,xz,yy,yz,zz) agree with the H assembly in weighted (381) and with A = [a+c, e, a-c] (334).
R2-B-02 (b) Conditioning of (A_0, H_x) on (U_0, Y_x) = (v_0, 0, b): correct. I wrote an independent 50-digit mpmath implementation, using the sympy covariance of R2-B-01, plain matrix inversion and no Cholesky. It covers: mu = S_to S_oo^-1 v, S_tt - S_to S_oo^-1 S_ot, the split B = S_HA S_AA^-1, Cov(H|A) = S_HH - B S_AH, and p_(Y_x|U_0)(0,b) recomputed as the ratio of joint densities p_(U_0,Y_x)(v_0,0,b) / p_(U_0)(v_0). Over 10 points × (b, k) the float64 code agrees to:
- ≤ 2e-14 for |x| ≥ 1;
- at the nearest production cells
(±0.2, 0.2), where cond(S_oo) = 1.2e7: mean 5.5e-11, cov 6.4e-12,B1.2e-9, density 3.4e-10 relative; - at the h = 0.3 cell
(0.15, 0.15), cond = 6.4e7:B8.9e-9, density 1.2e-9.
The H | A mean muH + B(A - muA) (345) with fixed L_H is the correct Gaussian regression. The density is 4-dimensional (-2 log 2pi, 306).
R2-B-03 (c) (a,c,e) cone, Jacobian 2: correct (symbolic). For (a11,a12,a22) = (a+c, e, a-c) the Jacobian matrix is [[1,1,0],[0,0,1],[1,-1,0]], with det = 2 (sympy). The eigenvalues are a ± sqrt(c²+e²) and det A = a² - c² - e², so negative definite ⇔ a < 0, c²+e² < a² (0 mismatches in 2e5 random points). The weight on line 342, 2 · (half_a w_a)(half_c w_c)(half_e w_e) det² p(A), is the correct nested rule on c ∈ (-|a|,|a|), e ∈ ±sqrt(a²-c²).
I checked it against an independent polar rule (a11 = a + ρ cosθ, a22 = a - ρ cosθ, a12 = ρ sinθ, dA = 2ρ dρ dθ da, 80×48×64), which matches exact m_(3,b) to < 1e-10. The production 20×16×16 rule is off by 4.3e-9 (b=0) and 1.3e-8 (b=1) at x_far, and 1.5e-7 at (0,1,0). The 16×12×12 vs 20×16×16 difference at (0,1,0) is 7.1e-5, as stated in NOTE §4. Plain MC of the cone mass (4e6 samples) agrees at every point tested (|z| ≤ 0.45).
- Finding: the "accurate to
1e-8" sentence (NOTE §2 line 54) holds only away from the pin. In the cells nearest the pin, the conditionalA_0law is narrow relative to the cone, and 20×16×16 has a relative mass error of 1.2 % at(0.2,0.2), 1.6 % at(-0.2,0.2)(b=1) and 2.7 % at(0.15,0.15). The weighted mean ofHis off by up to 0.11 there. - Impact on the hole is negligible. I compared the author rule with the polar rule on all cells with |x1| ≤ 2, r ≤ 1, using the same CRN sample. At h = 0.4 the difference is +2.8e-5 ± 2.9e-4 (k=1, b=0), and at most 1.3e-4 over the six (k,b) rows. At h = 0.2 it is 5.1e-4 ± 1.3e-4. → A2.
R2-B-04 (d) Allocation is approximately, not exactly, weight-proportional; the estimator is unbiased. A numpy replica of weighted reproduces remote3.weighted bit-for-bit (difference 0.0). At production budgets, with 5,120 nodes:
- Heavy nodes (ideal ≥ 10 draws) get
n/idealwithin ±4.7 %. - About 4,300 nodes have ideal < 0.5 (≈0.2 % of the weight) and are floored to 1 draw by
max(1, round(·)). The allocated total is therefore ~44,300 per 40,000-draw batch (+10.7 to 11.0 %), and +2.5 % at 160,000. - The overshoot goes through the "budget exhausted" branch (375–377). At 40,000, ~2,450 nodes (the second half of the
aloop) carrying 3.9–4.8 % of the cone weight reusezs[:n], i.e. the draws already used by the first nodes. At 160,000 this is about 1 % of the weight. - So the comment on line 376 ("tiny weights only") and the docstring claim on line 357 ("the effective sample size is the whole budget") are inaccurate.
- No bias. Each node's block is marginally iid N(0, I), so every node term is unbiased. I compared 24 independent 40,000-draw runs of the author estimator with an independent plain MC of the 9-dim conditional
(A_0, H_x)(4e6 draws, no quadrature, no allocation) at 4 points. Every component with non-negligible mass agrees within |z| ≤ 1.55. One near-zero j=0 component (relative s.d. 4.1) has z = -2.23. - The induced correlation is included in the batch spread, because the batches are independent seeds. → A1.
R2-B-05 (d) Common random numbers: correct and effective. The same batch is used at every cell and at x_far. Because the allocation depends on x only through the node weights, the alignment is near-identical in the decoupled region, where the cancellation matters. On the same stored sample, subtracting the exact quadrature Λ_inf instead of the CRN far point gives -3.117 ± 0.293 vs -3.133 ± 0.029 (k=1, b=0) and -2.029 ± 0.160 vs -2.309 ± 0.006 (k=1, b=1). That is a 10–25× s.e. reduction with the same mean.
R2-B-06 (e) Far-point subtraction at |x| = 10 is a sound hole definition; "ray ratio 1.003" is not evidence for it.
- Definition. The target is
c_hole_j = ∫_{R^3}(Λ_j - Λ_inf_j), which converges absolutely because every cross-covariance is a polynomial ×exp(-|x|²/2). The far-point MC is a control variate forΛ_inf_j. Its deviation from the exact value is set by the cross-covariances, whose maximum over all (U_0, A_0) × (Y_x, H_x) pairs is 1.7e-17 at |x| = 10 (3.5e-10 at 8, 8.7e-5 at 6, 7.3e-3 at 5). The relative deviation of the conditional density from the decoupled one is 0 in double precision for |x| ≥ 8. - Sensitivity. I re-ran
hole_integralfaithfully on the stored seeds. It reproduces the stored k=1 rows to 3e-15 (-3.1331172660,-2.3086405574, includingfar_weighted_mc). Movingx_farto(8,0,0)shifts the hole by 3.5e-10 (b=0) / 8.5e-9 (b=1).(12,0,0),(15,0,0)and(0,10,0)give bitwise-identical results. - The 1.003. I reproduced
Λ/Λ_inf = 1.002917(b=0) and1.004584(b=1) exactly. The value is identical at (8,0,0), (0,8,0), (10,0,0) and (15,0,0) and on all three rays for ρ ≥ 5 at b=0 (ρ ≥ 6 at b=1). It is the Monte Carlo error of the far-point estimator against the exact quadrature (0.29 % / 0.46 %), not a decoupling residual. - The decoupling residual itself, measured as a CRN difference
|Λ(x) - Λ(x_far)|/Λ_infwith my plain-MC estimator, is 7e-5 at |x| = 5, 1e-6 at 6 and 4e-12 at 8 (axis). → A3.
R2-B-07 (e) Truncation at the cylinder |x1| ≤ 6, r ≤ 6: numerically negligible, heuristic only. On nested grids, with an independent estimator (R2-B-09), extending from Rc = 6 to 8 changes the hole by < 1e-6 (k=1, b=0 and b=1). The shell between the Rc≈5.2 and Rc=6 subsets contributes ≤ 7.4e-5 over all six rows. Index components move by up to 2.4e-4 in that shell (j=1 ↔ j=2) but cancel in the total. The packet gives no bound, so this is controlled empirically, not proven. That is adequate for a numerical note that claims no enclosure.
R2-B-08 Cylindrical midpoint rule: O(h²) with a systematic error of about -0.4 % at production h; the NOTE's "Rc = 5" row measures grid alignment, not the cutoff. Paired CRN runs (independent estimator, k=1, b=0, 8 × 50,000, s.e. of the differences ≤ 6e-4), measured against h = 0.1:
| grid | difference |
|---|---|
| h = 0.4, production alignment | -0.0129 |
| h = 0.3125 | -0.0070 |
| h = 0.2 | -0.0028 |
The ratio 4.6 per halving fits O(h²). Richardson extrapolation gives a limit of ≈ -3.1457 for my estimator.
The author's Rc = 5 grid has x1 cell centres shifted by h/2 (n1 = 25) and hr = 5/12. On that exact grid I get -0.0339 vs h = 0.1, and -0.0210 ± 0.0006 vs the production grid. This reproduces the -0.021 that R3 measured, but R3 (finding 4) attributed it to the shell. Shifting only the x1 centres by h/2 at Rc = 6 gives -0.0204, while the shell contributes ~1e-6 (R2-B-07).
So the grid error of the tabulated holes is ≈ -0.013 (≈ 0.45 × the reported s.e. 0.029). It is systematic, not noise, and does not change any conclusion. → A4.
R2-B-09 End-to-end independent reproduction (evidence). Estimator #2 uses its own polar cone rule (R2-B-03), draws the node by inverse CDF from a common uniform, and sets H = mH + L_H z with common 6-dim normals (CRN). It shares only the validated Conditioning moments with the author's code. Production grid, far point (10,0,0), 8 × 50,000:
| k | b | stored (4 × 40,000) | independent | z |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1/2 | 0 | -1.8825 ± 0.0249 | -1.9179 ± 0.0080 | -1.35 |
| 1/2 | 1 | -1.2310 ± 0.0050 | -1.2375 ± 0.0055 | -0.87 |
| 1 | 0 | -3.1331 ± 0.0289 | -3.1596 ± 0.0101 | -0.87 |
| 1 | 1 | -2.3086 ± 0.0064 | -2.3066 ± 0.0068 | +0.22 |
| 2 | 0 | -4.5754 ± 0.0352 | -4.5939 ± 0.0130 | -0.50 |
| 2 | 1 | -3.4734 ± 0.0091 | -3.4633 ± 0.0087 | +0.80 |
Rows with the same b share samples within each implementation, so the three same-sign b=0 z's are not independent. The index splits also agree; at k=1, b=0 mine are -0.139, -2.941, -0.272, 0.192 vs the stored -0.132, -2.936, -0.263, 0.198. Side remark: a 4-batch s.e. has 3 degrees of freedom (±~40 % on the s.e. itself).
Concurrence, not new: the controls.far_mc_over_quadrature provenance drift (stored = seed-2026 40,000 sample, not full_run's 160,000) is already raised by R1 F1 and R3 finding 2. I reproduced it independently: 160,000 draws give [0.98626, 1.00283, 1.00110, 1.08415] (b=0).

Count: 29 rows. 28 RESOLVED, 1 PARTIAL (R3 3), 0 OPEN. Nothing out of scope was altered. No stored number changed: RESULTS.json is the identical blob, and README and the workflow are untouched. The code changes are only the two requested ones.
Advisories (non-blocking; author's discretion)
- PR body vs corrected NOTE.
- "to
1e-12" appears under Exact controls and "far field and controls1e-12" under Precision; NOTE now says6e-11. - "accurate to
1e-8" for the cone rule and "allocated … in proportion to their weights" lack the A2 / A1 qualifiers. - "each within one s.e. of the production value": −3.164 (Rc = 5) is 0.031 from −3.1331, more than the production s.e. of 0.029. The same-seed difference is −0.021.
- "to
- NOTE:134–135. The "
1e-5" for the Rc = 6 cells outside the Rc = 5 box is the author's re-measurement. Because of where it sits, it reads as if cited to 5403404967. Suggest "contribute1e-5(measured here; on nested grids the Slice B review 5403404967 finds …)". It is numerically consistent with R2 (about 1e-6 at k = 1, b = 0; at most 7e-5 over the six rows). - SOURCE_FILES.json still has
"nonauthor_reads": [], while SOURCE_MAP.json now lists the six reads. Optional sync.
This readback is read-only. I made no pushes, edits, merges or APPROVE. Not checked: CI status on 4c5b8e1 (the PR body states green). Scientific effect NONE. No flag changes (lemma_closed, prizes_solved, discharges_OBL_H5_JETMOD, certified_C_H, freeze, inventable_attempt_accepted untouched). OBL stays OPEN. This does not constitute nonauthor acceptance.

Bounded integration pickup, OpenAI/Codex /root/merge_queue_20261004 under Dylan Roy's direct merge instruction. Original reviewed head50737069b3f9b177df29ecb0ddcc65ace57d8890. Prior R1/R2/R3 reviews, amendment readback5974705557 and confirmation5974750891 inspected; both native finding threads resolved; no active competing claimant. #184 has now landed, so its same reviewed PROOF blob91d22fce can remain an unchanged conditional input. Scope: preserve all7 additions, verify source/manifest identities, refresh onto then-current main, obtain fresh required and packet checks, guarded merge, landed verification and release. No proof/code/results edits, new mathematical review, numerical certification or finite-torus promotion. Historical 'unmerged' provenance text stays as authored; landing alone does not remove its conditional hypotheses. |
