Units

Units are one of the main aspects of gameplay in Dominion, as they are used to attack the enemy and resupply your army, and do other useful functions. Units are not tied to tiles and have certain variables such as speed, fuel(where applicable), supplies, ammunition, morale, etc.. Certain variables such as ammunition/fuel/supplies must be replenished by supply trucks in order to keep the unit effective. Other statistics such as morale depends on many variables such as recent victories/losses, how often the supply trucks come, and if they are fighting near other friendly units. Morale will change the effectiveness of the unit.

Offensive

Units specialized in attacking your enemy.

  • Infantry
Slow moving Unit, does not require fuel, and can go a long time without resupply. Relatively weak, but effective against defensive units and units that are up close.
  • Tank
Unit specializing in med/long range combat, with fast speed. A bit hard on fuel consumption, and relatively ineffective against upfront infantry. Effective against everything except anti-tank guns and other tanks at med/long range.
  • Fighter Plane
Unit can be assigned to provide air escort to bombers, and to automatically intercept incoming bombers.
  • Bomber
Unit can take off from a runway but must either return back or land on another runway. If moving whilst not on a runway, the bomber then must be towed on the ground and moves very slowly

Defensive

Units specialized in the defensive role, such as defending territory or supply convoys.

  • AA Truck
  • Mobile SAM
  • Anti-Tank Gun
  • Mine Layer

Other

Other units.

  • Supply Truck
