Why
Stratus currently limits eth_call execution to 100 million gas.
Some read-only operations can legitimately require more gas. For example, in Capybara Finance V2, the getSubLoanPreview() and getSubLoanPreviewPairAtOperation() view functions may process a large operation history. For sub-loans with many operations, these calls exhaust the current limit and revert without a reason.
What
Increase the gas limit for read-only EVM calls such as eth_call, without increasing the limit for regular transaction execution.
Ideas
Suggested new limit for eth_call requests: 1 Ggas (1000 million gas).
