A personal dashboard for Kiro Crew: small charts over the numbers you keep checking.
- GitHub — pull requests merged per day, issues you opened, issues closed, or anything GitHub search can express.
- Local files — how fast an append-only log grows (the crew log, for example), how big a folder is, how old its newest file is.
- Public JSON — one number out of any http(s) endpoint.
- Inbox — any script can drop a line of JSON into a file and it shows up.
Each widget collects on its own schedule inside the gateway and keeps its history in a local SQLite file. The page only reads that history, so it opens instantly and collecting never calls a model.
A fresh install already shows four widgets that need no account: credits spent per day, agent turns per day, crew log entries per day and the crew log's size.

Pulse Board runs Python inside the gateway (that is how it can read data roots the agent sandbox hides). Third-party code in the gateway is off by default, so set this once in your Kiro Crew
config.json:{ "agent": { "apps_allow_third_party": true } } -
Install from the App Store, or from a checkout:
curl -X POST http://localhost:5476/api/apps/install \ -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \ -d '{"source": "/path/to/pulse-board"}' curl -X POST http://localhost:5476/api/apps/pulse-board/enable
-
Open Pulse Board in the sidebar. The two crew-log widgets are already there; pick a repository to add the GitHub ones.
GitHub widgets use your own gh login (gh auth login); the app stores no
token.
Three ways, all equivalent:
- On the page —
+ Add widget, fill the form, press Test, save. - In a file — edit
~/.kiro/crew/apps/pulse-board/data/widgets.json; the board picks the change up within seconds. The schema is in SPEC.md. - Ask an agent — "add a Pulse Board widget that shows …". The bundled skill teaches it the file and the inbox.
