D&D VTT Control Console — Wiki

Welcome to the wiki for the D&D VTT Control Console, a browser-based virtual tabletop for Dungeons & Dragons 5e.

What Is It?

The DM runs a lightweight Node.js server on their machine. Players, a projector, or a tablet all connect via any web browser on the local network — no installs, no Electron, no accounts.

Who URL What they see
DM http://localhost:3000 Full control panel
Players / Projector http://<server-ip>:3000/remote/player Player view
Map Builder http://localhost:3000/map-builder Tile-based map editor

The DM panel and all player screens stay in sync via WebSocket. Every action the DM takes — showing a map, revealing fog, playing audio, triggering a feature — is pushed to all connected browsers instantly.
