Keep Claude banked resets through rate-limited reads - #23
Anthropic's usage endpoint has been answering 429 for over an hour on both Claude logins. After a failed read the last reset count only stood for 30 minutes, so Claude Personal lost its "1 reset banked" line even though the reset is still there. Claude Work only kept it because the panel holds the last value in memory.
Now the last good count stands for 12 hours of failed reads and is dropped once its earliest expiry passes. Release 1.12.1.
Tests: python3 -m unittest discover -s tests (242 pass). Installed locally and both Claude records show 1 banked reset again.
Claude usage information now retains the last known reset count for up to 12 hours when the usage service is rate-limited, helping preserve useful information during temporary read failures.
Reset counts are no longer shown after their stated expiry, even if the information was recently retrieved.
Anthropic's usage endpoint can answer 429 for hours. The last good reset
count only stood for 30 minutes after a failed read, so the banked reset
line disappeared from Claude cards while the reset was still there. Keep
it for 12 hours, and drop it once its earliest expiry passes.
Release 1.12.1.

The stale window increases from 30 minutes to 12 hours. A cached count is reused only if it has no expiry or its expiry is in the future. Tests cover the extended window and an expired count.
Version 1.12.1 release references VERSION, plugin/manifest.json, README.md, docs/installation.md

The new expiry guard only populates stale. Lines 208-209 still return last without checking expiresAt. If a reset expires within the five-minute fresh-cache window, the expired count remains visible until FRESH_SECONDS elapses. Apply the same expiry predicate before returning a fresh cached value, and add a regression test for this case. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Update the fresh-cache return path guarded by shared so it checks the same
expiresAt predicate used to populate stale before returning last; when the
cached reset has expired, avoid returning the expired count. Add a regression
test covering expiry within the FRESH_SECONDS window.
