Adds Pangolinfo Amazon Data MCP under Crawling & Extraction as an agent-enabling hosted data service. Agents can combine Amazon product, search, review, seller and category data for ASIN and market research.

Includes claim-level first-party evidence from the product page and repository, checked on 2026-10-02. Pricing is paid (limited free testing), distinct from the MIT bridge license. No independent runtime testing or editorial approval is claimed; reviewer-owned dates are omitted.

Validation: checked required fields against the repository README and reviewed the one-file diff. The repository validator and paid data calls have not been run locally.

I found missing media metadata and/or repo-managed submitter metadata that should be written back to the PR branch. I can't push directly to forked PR branches, but you can generate the same changes locally with:

git fetch 'https://github.com/bradvin/agentfirst.directory.git' '755fb203681550170c5bb80014318322d80fe6b4'
git worktree add --detach '../agentfirst-base-86' FETCH_HEAD
npm run sync:tool-submitters -- --base-root-dir '../agentfirst-base-86' --submitted-by 'Pangolin-spg' --slug 'pangolinfo-amazon-data-mcp'
npm run enrich:tool-assets -- --write --slug 'pangolinfo-amazon-data-mcp'
git worktree remove '../agentfirst-base-86'

Then commit the updated files to this PR branch.

Outcome: meets-policy

Policy assessment

Pangolinfo Amazon Data MCP passes as agent-enabling: its hosted MCP service gives agents discoverable structured product, search, review, seller, and category data for concrete ASIN, catalog, and market-research workflows, while the substantive MIT-licensed stdio bridge exposes the hosted Streamable HTTP service to local MCP clients. Crawling & Extraction fits, paid usage and limited free operations are distinguished from the bridge licence, API-key and Node requirements are disclosed, and the profile does not claim independent accuracy or compatibility testing. No duplicate was found on current main, the published directory, or another open PR. @bradvin, this meets directory policy for the inclusion decision.

Evidence checked

  • https://www.pangolinfo.com/amazon-data-mcp/ returned 200 and supports the documented Amazon product/search/review/seller/category capabilities, agent workflows, remote MCP access, shared-credit per-call billing, and free testing/introspection boundaries.
  • https://github.com/Pangolin-spg/amazon-data-mcp returned 200 and supports the official Node 18+ stdio bridge, hosted Streamable HTTP endpoint, API-key requirement, dynamic tool discovery/forwarding, and MIT bridge licence. Source inspection confirmed a substantive implementation rather than a README-only stub.
  • The official product page, documentation/pricing, repository/source, npm 0.1.2 package metadata, repository releases, and licence metadata were checked for contradictory capability, price cadence, channel/version, and source-availability claims; none materially conflicts with the bounded profile.

Checks run

On exact final head 0c30be4562073ee6a462e8f75fc23377ebec60e7 merged with current main 755fb203681550170c5bb80014318322d80fe6b4, using Node 24.20.0: npm run validate:content passed; npm test passed 84/84. GitHub's final-head enrich check remains failing because the fork branch lacks generated enrichment and submitter metadata; that operational merge check still needs the bot-requested generated changes, but it does not change this policy/evidence assessment.

Reviewer-owned SEO metadata

  • agentSummary: written — “Pangolinfo Amazon Data MCP helps agent builders connect research workflows to structured Amazon product, search, review, seller, and category data through a hosted Streamable HTTP endpoint or local stdio bridge. It suits interactive ASIN, catalog, and market analysis where agents need discoverable schemas and can chain current data tools. Access requires a Pangolinfo API key, and chargeable data calls consume shared API credits.” This adds the supported agent workflow, interfaces, and billing boundary.
  • seoTitle: written — “Pangolinfo Amazon Data MCP for Agent Research” names the product and its supported agent-facing use.
  • seoDescription: written — “Connect agents to Amazon product, search, review, seller, and category data through Pangolinfo's hosted MCP endpoint or local stdio bridge.” It gives a factual reason to inspect the profile without extending the evidence.
