This PR resolves the application menu panel being able to scroll sideways, by clipping its horizontal axis.
Before this,
.applicationMenuPanelonly declaredoverflow-y: auto. Per the CSS Overflow spec avisiblevalue on one axis computes toautowhen the other axis is notvisible, so the panel was a horizontal scroll container too. That shows up when the menu is collapsed: the aside animates its width down to--application-menu-width-collapsed, while.menuItemLabelonly fades out throughopacity, filterandtranslateand keeps its full layout width. The content stayed wider than the 69px panel, which left a horizontal scrollbar and let the panel be nudged sideways inside the stage. This now clips that axis, so the panel scrolls vertically and nothing else.Panel-to-panel navigation is unaffected: that is a
translateXon.applicationMenuTrackclipped by.applicationMenuStage, not a scroll on the panel itself.Summary by CodeRabbit
