Closes #428

What

The header and footer took up close to 300px combined, which hurts on smaller laptop screens. This frees up roughly 100–140px for the entries grid.

Header

  • Less padding
  • Clock scales with window height as well as width (min(5vw, 8vh)), so it shrinks on short screens. Same size as before on tall screens.

Footer

  • Less padding, text 18px → 16px, logo 180px → 140px
  • Connection status box is centered between the event info and the logo instead of crowding the event info

Entry page layout

  • The footer sits under the grid in the right column, so the stats pane runs the full height of the window
  • Every other page keeps the full-width footer

Notes

  • The padding, text, and logo changes apply at every screen size. Only the clock scaling depends on height.
  • Styling only, so no unit tests. Checked manually in the app.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Trim padding in both bars, let the clock scale with window height,
shrink the footer text and logo, and center the connection status box.
On the entry page the footer sits under the grid so the stats pane
runs the full height.
