The trading standard (no delisting notice, 8-K item 3.01, in 90 days) could never fail. All 2,068 stored 8-Ks had empty items, because the feed parser has only read item numbers since #458 (2026-09-26). The stored 8-Ks also only go back to 2026-08-25.

  • A new sec_delistings sweep uses EDGAR full-text search to find every 8-K and 8-K/A in the last 90 days whose items include 3.01. It stores them in sec_filings, and fills in items on filings already kept without them. That is a few requests twice a day, each retried once on a 5xx. Run against live EDGAR, it finds 352 notices, 248 of them for listed tickers.
  • The sweep runs as a background worker every 12 hours, and records sec_delisting_sweep in worker_state.
  • Until a sweep in the last 36 hours vouches for the window, the trading standard reads not checked yet ("delisting notices not read yet") instead of met. A halt still fails it either way.

8-K item numbers were only parsed from the feed since #458, so every
earlier notice was invisible and "no delisting notice in 90 days" always
read as met. A twice-daily EDGAR full-text search sweep stores every item
3.01 notice in the window. Until a sweep in the last 36 hours vouches for
the window, the trading standard reads not checked yet.
