My resume in Markdown format. I wanted to have a version with everything and then quickly create a custom version (branch) and not worry about formatting for HTML, PDF, and Word. Git solves versioning and branching. Github solves hosting. Panadoc solves creating HTML, PDF, and Word versions. And Markdown makes updating easy so I can think about what should be on my resume without worrying about breaking formatting.
