Independent local review completed at d4db9b7: no findings. Diff only deletes the 29-line commented Dependabot config; no dependency or security-setting changes. Actual make ai-checks passed 316 tests with 95.09% statement coverage; normal commit/push hooks passed. |

Commit Chronicles remains idle, but Dependabot opened new version-update PRs after its configuration was fully commented out. Delete the configuration using GitHub’s documented method for disabling version updates.
No dependencies are upgraded. Existing dependency PRs and security settings remain unchanged. The original configuration remains recoverable in Git history.
Validation: actual
make ai-checkspassed (format, lint, types, unit coverage and build); normal signed-commit and pre-push hooks run. Exact-head CI must pass before the authorized merge to main.Baseline disclosure: locked dependency installation reports 17 audit entries (7 moderate, 8 high, 2 critical) and upstream deprecation/install-script warnings. This idle-project config-only change deliberately does not upgrade or alter dependencies; actual make ai-checks itself passes.
