Summary

Release preparation for the first public GitHub release, v0.1.0.

  • Version metadata: tooth.json version 0.0.0 → 0.1.0 (package identity unchanged). The asset template resolves to https://github.com/amatouhake/LaminaSort/releases/download/v0.1.0/LaminaSort-client-windows-x64.zip, which is what release.yml produces.
  • LeviLamina target: unchanged at v26.51.3 (tag form levilamina v26.51.3; the LeviMC xmake-repo still lists only up to 26.51.2, so the normal package form is not yet available).
  • CHANGELOG: the accumulated [Unreleased] entries become ## [0.1.0] - 2026-09-21; an empty [Unreleased] section is kept. ffurrer2/extract-release-notes selects the first ## [<digit>...] section, i.e. 0.1.0.
  • README: new Installation section pointing at the release ZIP / LIP package; notes that the packaged manifest.json version comes from the vMAJOR.MINOR.PATCH Git tag; MVP / 0.x framing kept.
  • Release workflow: the release build job now builds and runs LaminaSortTests before uploading the artifact (same step as build.yml). No other CI change: actions/checkout on a release: published event creates the local refs/tags/<tag> ref, so LeviBuildScript's git describe --tags --abbrev=0 --always resolves v0.1.0 (simulated locally with the same shallow --no-tags fetch).

Local verification

  • xmake f -c -y -p windows -a x64 -m release --target_type=client + xmake -y (LLVM 22.1.8 clang-cl): build ok
  • LaminaSortTests: SortPlannerTest: all checks passed, SortKeyTest: all checks passed
  • Untagged build → bin/LaminaSort/manifest.json version 0.0.0 (expected fallback)
  • With a temporary local v0.1.0 tag (never pushed, deleted afterwards) → manifest.json version 0.1.0, type: native, platform: client

Not done here

  • No Minecraft / LeviLauncher runtime testing and no Computer Use in this release-prep task; the owner has separately been using the mod manually on LeviLamina Client 26.51.3.
  • No publishing to CurseForge / Modrinth / Bedrinth.

Set the tooth.json package version to 0.1.0 and turn the accumulated
[Unreleased] changelog entries into the [0.1.0] - 2026-09-21 section,
leaving an empty [Unreleased] section for future work. The README gains
an Installation section that points at the GitHub Release asset
(LaminaSort-client-windows-x64.zip) and states that the packaged
manifest.json version is derived from the vMAJOR.MINOR.PATCH Git tag.

The release workflow now builds and runs LaminaSortTests before the
release artifact is uploaded, matching build.yml. The tag checkout is
unchanged: on a `release: published` event actions/checkout creates the
local refs/tags/<tag> ref, so LeviBuildScript's
`git describe --tags --abbrev=0 --always` resolves v0.1.0 and the
packaged manifest.json gets version 0.1.0 (verified locally with a
temporary tag).

The LeviLamina target stays at v26.51.3 in tag form; the LeviMC
xmake-repo still has no 26.51.3 version entry.
