Require extending existing test methods when their purpose already covers the requested case. Keep unrelated test setup and timing changes outside the task, report resulting validation limits, and review the necessity of test changes before committing.

Require extending an existing test method when it already covers the requested behaviour across types or cases. Keep unrelated test setup, timing and expectations outside the change, report independent failures and validation limits, and review the necessity of test changes before committing.
Validation: the local guidance comparison, relative-link, heading-anchor and whitespace checks passed. Only AGENTS.md changes. Documentation CI passed for both the pull request and branch push, including tooling, type checks, build, links and browser tests. No local runtime or website tests were run.
