test(functional-ci): cover multiple graphs on all backends for AOT and JIT tuning - #139
Adds tests/functional_ci/test_multiple_graphs.py, a use-case test in the same style as test_graph_breaks.py: one test per tuning type, each run on every backend through with_backends("base").
Toy: MultipleGraphsMLP calls a shared child SingleGraphsMLP with 3 signatures from _split_input_for_multiple_graphs: flat (B, F), sequence (B, 3, F), and (x, residual). One module, 3 GraphSpecs.
test_multiple_graphs_aot_tunning (aot_tuning.models.multiple-graphs): wraps the child, runs ait.tune, and asserts 3 graph_specs. Each graph gets its own copy of the pinned backend (3 distinct objects, none of them the prototype). Outputs match eager. The test then runs ait.save and ait.load into other weights and repeats the backend and eager checks.
test_multiple_graphs_jit_tunning (jit_tuning.models.multiple-graphs): patches SingleGraphsMLP directly, because a patched parent would be the head with only one signature. It records the 3 signatures at batch sizes 1 and 4, then makes the same backend and eager checks.
tests/functional_ci/AGENTS.md: adds multiple-graphs to the aot_tuning.models / jit_tuning.models tables and removes it from models.

Walkthrough
The change adds functional tests for dispatching one shared module across three input signatures. The tests cover AOT save and reload, JIT tuning, backend assignments, output comparisons with eager execution, and an error for an unrecorded input rank.
Changes: Shared-module layout dispatch
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Shared input-layout test model tests/functional_ci/test_multiple_graphs.py
Adds a model and helpers for three input signatures, plus checks for distinct backend instances of the expected type.
AOT save and reload tests/functional_ci/test_multiple_graphs.py
Tests tuning the three signatures, compares outputs with eager execution, and repeats the checks after saving and reloading the model.
JIT dispatch and unrecorded layouts tests/functional_ci/test_multiple_graphs.py, tests/functional_ci/AGENTS.md
Tests JIT tuning and output comparisons, checks the error for an unrecorded rank, and updates capability-to-test declarations.
The TensorRT test could pass after falling back to CUDA. The PR is mergeable with owner awareness of that coverage gap.

Compare the recorded layouts with eager before the rejection check.
The backend-type assertion does not check the outputs of the three recorded graphs. Add assert_matches_eager before the unrecorded-rank call, so this backend test checks both successful dispatch and rejection. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
As per coding guidelines: “Compare with eager through run_lifecycle or assert_matches_eager and the backend tolerance.”

Review comment at @tests/functional_ci/test_multiple_graphs.py at line 112:
Add an `assert_matches_eager` check for the outputs of all three recorded graphs
before the unrecorded-rank rejection check in the multiple-graphs test. Use the
existing backend tolerance and preserve the backend-type assertion and rejection
behavior.
Use the shared eager-comparison helper for JIT outputs.
Pass callables that evaluate all three layouts to assert_matches_eager, with batch sizes (1, 4) and seed 7. This retains the current comparisons while following the required test contract. The rule says: “Compare with eager through run_lifecycle or assert_matches_eager and the backend tolerance.” (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Replace the direct comparison loop in the test with the shared
assert_matches_eager helper, passing callables that evaluate all three layouts
for batch sizes 1 and 4 with seed 7; preserve the backend tolerance and current
model-versus-reference comparisons.
Check the active ONNX Runtime provider for every TensorRT graph.
The current assertions check only backend types. ONNX Runtime can retain the same backend type while falling back from TensorRT to CUDA. Add the provider check after tuning and after loading.
Use the isinstance guard to avoid reading ONNX-specific configuration from non-ONNX backends.

In the multiple-graphs test, extend the checks after tuning and loading to
verify the active provider for each selected TensorRT ONNX backend, not just its
backend type. Use an isinstance guard for ONNXRuntimeBackend, check its
configured execution provider, and call the existing TensorRT provider
assertion; import the required symbols from their existing modules.

Move the Torch-TensorRT JIT override out of the test body.
with_backends("jit") collects separate backend cases, but the conditional applies backend-specific behavior only after each case starts. This prevents backend-specific failure outcomes from being expressed through the marks= mechanism during collection. Move the setting into the Torch-TensorRT JIT factory so the test body remains common to its backend group.
