Add Scenario Comparison beside 3D Visualization in the public FPM Accuracy gym. The page compares A, B, C, A+C, and B+C across interpolation, linear/spline regression, GBDT, hybrid calibration, and causal selector, with model/hardware/workload filters, 10–90% training splits, MAPE, coverage, costs, and source evidence.
Strict C starts without offline labels and admits one observation at each five-second event-time tick, including bootstrap. Every observation is scored before its target can be admitted; gaps do not replay older labels, and cold-start misses remain in the denominator. The versioned contract rejects the previous paged-C protocol.
GBDT fitting, online updates, hybrid calibration, and selection use production AISim APIs. Original-A mixed fallback from #639 is enabled only for the applicable A/A+C learned methods, with source hashes, native default quality-gate controls, causal mixed-store append, and frozen hybrid forests. Missing chronology or unsupported native capabilities are explicit outcomes.
The existing HF campaign pins the dataset and exact branch wheel, produces a checksum-qualified scenario artifact, and publishes only the matching summary snapshot. Bounded diagnostics retain identity, source/forest hashes, routes, and counters; assets above the existing 64 MiB cap fail before qualification.
Dependency/deployment:#639 is merged into main. This PR targets main and includes the merged dependency's final fixes. After this PR merges, a complete HF campaign must finish before measured scenario values appear on the live site. This PR does not deploy partial smoke results.
Complete scenario/split matrix over 10,270 real Kimi-K3/GB300 observations from the first 180 seconds of a pinned HF snapshot; publication population validation passed. C admits exactly 35 scheduled observations, with no immediate warmup calls; default B+C admits 16.
Real native synthetic continuation: GBDT/selector append one mixed store after 20 admitted labels, record zero paired comparisons at append, then nine comparisons for nine new labels. Hybrid adds no forest. GBDT quality defaults resolve to alpha=0.05, min_comparisons=5.
Native coverage limits remain visible: A-backed Kimi learned results retain 60 prediction errors and A+C one update error when no measured prior neighbor exists and native SOL lacks context_kda_conv1d. Interpolation coverage is 6.34% with KV warmup and 95.16% without in this window. These are partial-window API checks, not a dataset-wide accuracy claim.
Native smoke used the recorded PR639 extension built at f0442fee, with the Python integration based on e93ad9ee; this is not an exact-head wheel qualification. CI performs that qualification.
742 Python tests + 138 subtests passed, with 22 optional-dependency skips; 99 focused follow-up tests, 109 split tests, 12 workflow tests, both browser suites, and repository commit hooks passed. The scenario browser suite was rerun after hook formatting.
After merging main at efacbbd2: 744 Python tests + 138 subtests passed (22 optional-dependency skips), plus 12 workflow tests. Ten native readiness/zero-time-feedback/selector cases and the three-method gym continuation smoke passed using the final feat: add mixed-workload fallback for learned FPM #639 native build (925c66ec, extension SHA-256 a1876aac3d3bcfc745594de28edde00780a5150a1e17eaf5a8fb0b9fc3f9d1ca). The gym's original 39 files are unchanged, and every dependency file matches main.

Route mixed classes missing from original A through interpolation with independent calibration. Support frozen hybrid A+C, online GBDT with continuous paired-error checking, and the existing causal selector with an online mixed-store bootstrap API.
Include source binding, checkpoint restoration, SDK diagnostics, regression tests, configuration guidance, and a detailed design document. Reject incomplete portable mixed-model snapshots while preserving ordinary snapshot compatibility. Keep local experiment adapters and benchmark evidence outside this commit.

Translate existing recent and pending row IDs with an imported checkpoint clock so append preserves observation ages and expiry. Derive original-A export eligibility from the fitted seed feature list, and route operator coverage misses through the shared missing-data fallback classifier.
Cover sparse source IDs with ongoing feedback and checkpoint resume, default atomic10 trainer eligibility, and GEMM fallback in SILICON and HYBRID modes. Clarify anchor ID translation and seed eligibility in the design document.

📝 Summary
Risk: High. The three areas that need the most human attention are native learned-model integration and mixed A/A+C behavior; strict-C event-time scheduling and score-before-admit semantics; and scenario qualification and publication against the matching summary snapshot.
Changed behavior and contracts
Adds a Scenario Comparison page for A, B, C, A+C, and B+C, with method and training-split comparisons.
Defines schema 13, fpm-scenarios-v13. The reported online protocol uses five-second event-time ticks, scores each selected observation before admitting its target, and does not replay skipped ticks.
Adds native learned-model adapters, interpolation identity checks, and self-benchmark seed validation. Missing chronology and unsupported capabilities are reported explicitly.
Adds schema-v3 qualification with a scenario checksum and validation against the matching summary. The campaign and Pages workflows now evaluate and check scenario data.
Changes mixed-fallback hashing to process file contents through bounded buffers.
Evidence supplied
The PR description reports a complete scenario/split matrix over 10,270 observations and successful population validation. It also reports 744 Python tests and 138 subtests passed, 22 optional-dependency skips, 12 workflow tests, and native readiness and continuation checks. These results are author-reported and were not independently verified.
The supplied source output confirms that the event-time interval is set to 5000 ms and that mixed-fallback manifest hashing uses a buffered reader. It does not include the scoring implementation or full scenario-contract validation, so those behaviors are not independently confirmed by this inspection.
Evidence still missing
Current review findings and severity counts were not supplied. Review counts are unavailable. Exact-head wheel qualification and full post-merge campaign results are also unavailable. The reported native smoke used a recorded PR639 extension, not an exact-head wheel. The supplied test results were not rerun.
Technical quality and merge readiness
The supplied test and campaign reports provide technical validation, but they do not establish merge readiness. Confirm exact-head wheel qualification and review the three high-risk areas before relying on published measurements. Do not treat bot-generated summaries as approval.
This change adds protocol v13 FPM scenario evaluation for five scenarios, native predictor adapters, event-time online updates, validated scenario artifacts, and Pages publication and browser checks. It also streams mixed-fallback source-file hashing.

Explanation
The description provides detailed behavior, scope, review map, validation evidence, dependencies, risks, and publication conditions. It omits the template’s dedicated Modeling or data provenance and Tracking sections, but the required information is mostly present in the Summary and Validation sections.
Full details: Modeling And Data Evidence
Explanation
The PR supplies reproducible, machine-readable evidence with provenance and anomaly checks. benchmarks/evidence/fpm_scenario_publication_20261029/README.md:7-29 pins the HF revision, configuration, source window, native revision, runtime, and matrix scope. native-matrix-smoke.json records the 10,270-observation results, statuses, split populations, metrics, costs, and online schedules. smoke.py:53-80 independently counts source populations, validates the scenario contract, records the artifact size, and writes JSON evidence. The contract checks coverage arithmetic, MAPE aggregation, train/test partitions, identical populations across methods, exact split boundaries, update accounting, and five-second scheduling (scenario_contract.py:336-366, 596-678). The tests also exercise held-out splits and causal prediction-before-update behavior (test_scenarios.py:227-315, test_scenario_splits.py:80-129) and reject altered evidence (test_scenarios.py:774-805). The evidence is explicitly labeled partial or synthetic where applicable, so it is not binary-only or an unexplained data refresh.
Full details: Compatibility Boundaries
Explanation
No compatibility-boundary failure is introduced. The changed scenario adapters use the existing native AISimulate API surface. Each consumed method is present in the Python stub, the PyO3 binding, and the Python wrapper (python/aisimulate/src/aisimulate_core/_native.pyi:166-218, crates/core/src/perfmodel/py.rs:2082-2110,2311-2406, python/aisimulate/src/aisimulate_core/sdk/rust_engine_step.py:411-657). The scenario contract and browser page both require schema/protocol v13 (scripts/fpm_accuracy/scenario_contract.py:13-21, pages/fpm-accuracy/scenario-comparison.js:353-354). Qualification v3 and Pages validation use the same scenario checksum and schema (scripts/fpm_accuracy/run_fpm_accuracy.py:121-140, scripts/pages/prepare_fpm_accuracy_pages.py:66-96). Python and crate versions remain 0.13.0, with no manifest changes, and the existing release check still requires exactly one wheel and one crate (python/aisimulate/pyproject.toml:4-7, crates/core/Cargo.toml:4-8, scripts/release/build_release_artifacts.py:61-92,155-161). The tooling declares the exact AISimulate wheel separately and adds no Dynamo dependency (scripts/pyproject.toml:4-14). Older native runtimes fail as explicit unsupported dependencies rather than being used with an incompatible surface (scripts/fpm_accuracy/models/learned_scenario.py:51-69,231-261). The Rust change only replaces whole-file reads with streamed hashing and does not change a public API or schema (crates/core/src/perfmodel/fpm/mixed_fallback.rs:403-420).
Full details: Cross-Layer Contract
Explanation
The changed Rust path is not covered by a test. MixedComposition::construct now streams the parquet and metadata files through HashedFile and publishes the resulting digests at crates/core/src/perfmodel/fpm/mixed_fallback.rs:408-419. The changed-file inventory contains no Rust test change. The existing mixed fallback test at crates/core/src/perfmodel/fpm/mixed_fallback_tests.rs:278-314 covers checked_manifest, not the new file_digest closure, and the other tests attach a prepared runtime after model construction. Therefore the streaming digest output is not traced through a Rust test consumer, although Python publication and browser consumers validate the surrounding scenario contract.
Resolution
Add a Rust test that reaches MixedComposition::construct with valid temporary parquet and metadata files, including a file larger than the read buffer. Assert that the published parquet_sha256 and metadata_sha256 equal independently computed SHA-256 values. Also exercise a changed-file or I/O failure so the streamed closure's error mapping remains covered.
Full details: Review Evidence
Explanation
The visible description reports results, negative cases, and distinctions between native smoke evidence, exact-head wheel qualification, and publication. The changed workflow also shows that fpm-accuracy-branch.yml is a reusable workflow invoked by the active scheduled/manual fpm-accuracy.yml, so it is not evidence of an inactive nested workflow. However, the description is explicitly truncated, and this check requires verifying that the full description names the relevant commands and results. The omitted text is unavailable.
Resolution
Provide the complete PR description, especially the full Validation and Review map sections, so the command names, results, and any hosted-CI claims can be checked.

Checked strict-C event-time admission and predict-before-update ordering, cold-start/mixed-store bootstrap, native API and source identity, coverage/MAPE denominators, split populations, snapshot/checksum qualification, and public page behavior. No additional actionable findings.
Validation against the exact-head CI wheel: 170 scenario/adapter tests and 173 publication/split-contract tests passed, plus 12 workflow tests, Chromium scenario browser checks with synthetic fixtures, and native mixed continuation for GBDT, hybrid, and selector.
Approval covers this implementation and the scoped validation above. A complete HF accuracy campaign was not run; the checked-in partial-window evidence is not exact-head full-dataset qualification. Publication should continue to require a complete qualified campaign and a matching summary/scenario snapshot. The existing feedback and typing follow-ups on dependency #639 remain tracked there.

Dynamo pins exact AISimulate versions in both Rust and Python, so mixed-composition consumers require a coordinated wheel/core release. [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::Cargo.toml:62-63] [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::pyproject.toml:17]
Planner configuration round-trips through the installed ForwardPassPerfModelConfig and native normalize_config; the new temporary_mixed_composition field must therefore be supported by the pinned SDK before Dynamo configurations can use it. [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::components/src/dynamo/planner/config/planner_config.py:177-194]
Existing runtime consumers use the unchanged legacy APIs (best_available, tune_with_fpms, estimate_forward_pass_time_ms, and diagnostics); no direct consumers of the new mixed-composition methods were found. [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::components/src/dynamo/planner/core/perf_model/engine_query.py:211-243] [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::lib/bindings/python/rust/llm/ais_callback.rs:137-169]
CLI configuration also constructs and serializes the upstream config directly, preserving nested estimator settings through to_dict(). [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::components/src/dynamo/common/configuration/groups/ais_perf_args.py:108-116]
ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator
The frozen compatibility wrapper exposes only the pre-existing FPM surface—constructors, estimation, tuning, and diagnostics—and has no mixed-composition methods or configuration field. [::ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator::aic-core/src/aiconfigurator_core/_aiconfigurator_core.pyi:156-164]
Its documented compatibility contract likewise describes only best_available, estimate_forward_pass_time_ms, and tune_with_fpms; it should remain a migration/reference baseline rather than a runtime consumer of this PR. [::ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator::aic-core/API.md:159-199]
The concern does not hold for the adapters in this repository. Every chronology key that the inspected protocol code builds has a numeric first element, so the new DataError does not fire for any inspected producer. The comment's failure path needs a non-numeric first element, and no inspected producer emits one. The only string-typed element is the annotation tuple[int | float | str, ...]. A type annotation that allows a string does not establish that any adapter emits one.

The claim that skip_serializing_if corrupts data depends on ForwardPassEstimate being encoded with a non-self-describing format such as bincode. The inspected evidence does not establish that. The bincode search returned no hit that touches this type, and the review's inference that "the config deserializer has a non-human-readable path, so bincode is in use somewhere" does not connect to ForwardPassEstimate. The comment therefore raises a hypothetical serialization hazard without a supported encoding path.
The serde behavior is real in general. Bincode writes struct fields positionally, so a skipped Option field would misalign a bincode read. That only matters if this struct reaches a bincode codec. The shown search results include ForwardPassEstimate uses in model.rs, mixed_fallback.rs, combined.rs, and evidence.rs, but none is a bincode call. The search was also narrow: it matched only bincode::serialize, bincode::deserialize, and DefaultOptions, and it would miss bincode 2 APIs such as bincode::serde::encode_to_vec. Because the search is narrow, its absence of hits does not prove that no bincode path exists. The evidence is still insufficient to establish the premise, so the concern cannot be raised as a finding.
The field addition itself is compatible with previously persisted data under serde. It uses #[serde(default)], so older JSON-like inputs without the field deserialize to None.

Add the missing learned_expert_artifacts stub.
crates/core/src/perfmodel/py.rs Lines 2355-2358 add the native method learned_expert_artifacts(&self) -> PyResult<String>. rust_engine_step.py Line 619 calls self._inner.learned_expert_artifacts(). The stub declares the other new mixed bindings but omits this one. A type checker that resolves the extension through this .pyi therefore reports an unknown attribute, and the stub no longer matches the native surface.

Hash the prior parquet with a stream, not a full read.
file_digest calls std::fs::read on the whole parquet file and its metadata sidecar. The only purpose is a SHA-256. For large FPM tables, this allocates the full file once at every model construction. The file already has the HashedFile helper, which hashes through bounded buffers. Use the same pattern as check_source_file.
The digest is also computed after table.cells() loaded the data. If the file is replaced between the two reads, the recorded parquet_sha256 describes different bytes than the loaded table. Streaming does not close that gap, but it removes the memory cost.

Summary
Dependency/deployment: #639 is merged into main. This PR targets main and includes the merged dependency's final fixes. After this PR merges, a complete HF campaign must finish before measured scenario values appear on the live site. This PR does not deploy partial smoke results.
Related Linear issues: AISIM-2042, AISIM-2043, and AISIM-2044.
Validation
Complete scenario/split matrix over 10,270 real Kimi-K3/GB300 observations from the first 180 seconds of a pinned HF snapshot; publication population validation passed. C admits exactly 35 scheduled observations, with no immediate warmup calls; default B+C admits 16.
Real native synthetic continuation: GBDT/selector append one mixed store after 20 admitted labels, record zero paired comparisons at append, then nine comparisons for nine new labels. Hybrid adds no forest. GBDT quality defaults resolve to
alpha=0.05, min_comparisons=5.Native coverage limits remain visible: A-backed Kimi learned results retain 60 prediction errors and A+C one update error when no measured prior neighbor exists and native SOL lacks
context_kda_conv1d. Interpolation coverage is 6.34% with KV warmup and 95.16% without in this window. These are partial-window API checks, not a dataset-wide accuracy claim.Native smoke used the recorded PR639 extension built at
f0442fee, with the Python integration based one93ad9ee; this is not an exact-head wheel qualification. CI performs that qualification.742 Python tests + 138 subtests passed, with 22 optional-dependency skips; 99 focused follow-up tests, 109 split tests, 12 workflow tests, both browser suites, and repository commit hooks passed. The scenario browser suite was rerun after hook formatting.
After merging main at
efacbbd2: 744 Python tests + 138 subtests passed (22 optional-dependency skips), plus 12 workflow tests. Ten native readiness/zero-time-feedback/selector cases and the three-method gym continuation smoke passed using the final feat: add mixed-workload fallback for learned FPM #639 native build (925c66ec, extension SHA-256a1876aac3d3bcfc745594de28edde00780a5150a1e17eaf5a8fb0b9fc3f9d1ca). The gym's original 39 files are unchanged, and every dependency file matches main.Review map
