I built the tag reader exactly as instructed, using ESP Home Builder. (ESPHome Device Builder Current version: 2026.6.4)

The first problem is that on the dashboard, I see the TagReader as ‘offline’, whereas in the settings, it shows as ‘connected’

The second problem is that whichever tag I present, it is detected correctly – the buzzer beeps three times – but it also appears in the list of tags (Menu “Config” / “Tags”)
How is this checked, given that all tags are listed?
Is there a kind of "user guide" ?
