Security updates are provided for the current stable release of EcoTrace.

If you discover a security vulnerability within the EcoTrace project, do not open a public issue. Report it privately to the maintainers:

Please include the following in your report:

• A detailed description of the vulnerability.
• Steps to reproduce the issue.
• Potential impact if the vulnerability is exploited.

1. Acknowledgment — Receipt of your report will be acknowledged within 48 hours.
2. Investigation — The issue will be assessed for severity and impact.
3. Fix — If confirmed, a patch will be developed and tested thoroughly.
4. Disclosure — Once a fix is released, a public disclosure will be coordinated. Credit will be given to the reporter if desired.
