Description

This PR adds Claude Haiku 5.5 to the direct Anthropic provider. Users can now select claude-haiku-5-5 in the model dropdown. Bedrock already supports Haiku 5.5 (#2100). This PR closes the remaining gap.

The model entry follows Anthropic's official documentation:

• Model ID: claude-haiku-5-5 on the Claude API and on Google Cloud. Bedrock uses anthropic.claude-haiku-5-5.
• Context window: 1M tokens, native. No beta header is required.
• Max output: 128K tokens.
• Adaptive thinking. Default effort is medium. The entry sets supportsReasoningBudget, supportsReasoningBinary, and supportsTemperature: false. This matches the Sonnet 5 and Opus 5 convention. The provider then omits sampling parameters and sends thinking: { type: "adaptive" } when reasoning is on.
• Prompt caching: supported. The entry joins the streaming-path caching branch.
• Standard-tier pricing for prompts of 100,000 tokens or fewer: $0.10 input, $0.50 output, $0.125 cache write, $0.01 cache read per million tokens. Anthropic bills prompts over 100,000 tokens at higher rates. The Anthropic cost path has no prompt-length tier mechanism, so the entry prices the standard tier and documents the tier in comments. This mirrors the existing Bedrock entry.

The PR also updates the places that enumerate Anthropic models:

• packages/types/src/providers/anthropic.ts: new claude-haiku-5-5 entry.
• src/api/providers/anthropic.ts: new streaming-path case.
• packages/types/src/providers/vertex.ts: new claude-haiku-5-5 entry.
• packages/types/src/providers/openrouter.ts: anthropic/claude-haiku-5.5 joins the prompt-caching and reasoning-budget sets. The dotted slug matches the live OpenRouter catalog.
• packages/types/src/providers/vercel-ai-gateway.ts: anthropic/claude-haiku-5.5 joins the vision-and-tools set, next to Claude Haiku 4.5.
• src/api/providers/fetchers/*: parse overrides for OpenRouter, Requesty, and Vercel AI Gateway. Each gateway slug was verified against its live public catalog. Requesty uses anthropic/claude-haiku-5-5; OpenRouter and Vercel use anthropic/claude-haiku-5.5.
• vscode-llm.ts is unchanged. VS Code exposes those model IDs. The Opus 5.5 addition also left that file unchanged.

Test Procedure

Run pnpm test from the repository root. All tests pass. The PR adds focused tests:

• src/api/providers/__tests__/anthropic.spec.ts: model info, prompt-caching header, adaptive thinking, omitted temperature.
• src/api/providers/__tests__/anthropic-vertex.spec.ts: model info and adaptive thinking on Vertex.
• src/api/providers/fetchers/__tests__/openrouter.spec.ts, requesty.spec.ts, and vercel-ai-gateway.spec.ts: fetcher overrides for the new gateway slugs.
• src/shared/__tests__/api.spec.ts: hybrid output-token handling.

pnpm --dir src run check-types passes. ESLint passes on all touched files. The counts in eslint-suppressions.json did not increase.

Reviewers can also verify by hand: select the Anthropic provider in settings. The model dropdown lists Claude Haiku 5.5.

The Anthropic provider page defers the model list to Anthropic's documentation. The Bedrock provider page already documents Claude Haiku 5.5. Zoo-Code-Docs does not enumerate the Anthropic model IDs, so no companion docs change is needed.

Additional Notes

• Pricing covers the standard tier only (prompts of 100,000 tokens or fewer). Comments document the higher rates for longer prompts. Adding prompt-length tier billing on the Anthropic cost path is a larger change and stays out of scope here.
• Pre-commit hooks ran ESLint and Prettier on the staged files. Type checks pass for all 13 packages.
