Windows app closes after Upload Logs from Support page #664

Description

The Windows application closes its Appium window after selecting Upload Logs from the Support page. This causes the Windows navigation UI test to fail when it attempts to continue with the View Logs flow.

Reproduction

  1. Log in to the Windows app in training mode.
  2. Open Support.
  3. Select Upload Logs.
  4. Attempt to open View Logs or inspect the current page through Appium.

Actual result

WinAppDriver reports:

OpenQA.Selenium.NoSuchWindowException: Currently selected window has been closed

The failure was observed in CI: https://github.com/TransactionProcessing/TransactionMobile/actions/runs/32467356865/job/96726706297?pr=662

Expected result

The application should remain available after uploading logs, or navigate to a valid page without closing the Windows application window.

Suspected code path

SupportPageViewModel.UploadLogs calls NavigationService.GoBack() after a successful upload. The Windows navigation service implements this using Shell.Current.Navigation.PopAsync().

  • TransactionProcessor.Mobile/UIServices/ShellNavigationService.cs

Temporary test workaround

The Windows UI test skips the Upload Logs interaction until the application issue is fixed. Android continues to execute the step normally.
