Closes #182

Summary

  • add the testing subpath with an official SDK v2 in-memory client/server session and deterministic cleanup
  • add immutable byte-only McpImage and McpAudio helpers with MIME validation
  • normalize direct helpers and mixed helper/string lists to standard MCP content
  • verify the new subpath and media exports in packed ESM and CommonJS consumers

Test-first evidence

  • Media red: McpImage and McpAudio were not constructors.
  • Testing red: src/testing.js did not exist.
  • Green: focused suites cover conversion, validation, real protocol calls, idempotent close, and failed connection cleanup.

Verification

  • clean npm ci
  • npm run lint
  • npm run typecheck
  • npm test (33 files, 91 tests)
  • npm run build
  • npm run verify:package
  • npm run verify:publish
  • npm run audit:prod (0 vulnerabilities)
  • git diff --check

The exact-head implementation and public export/release boundaries are coherent. Required CI passed, including packed ESM/CJS consumer and production-audit coverage.
