app crashes when using tmdb as source

Describe the bug
all of a sudden, the app started crashing if i use tmdb as a source when i add or edit a tv show.

Expected Behaviour

i expect to see the search results from tmdb

Current Behaviour

the app crashes unexpectedly without any error message

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. click the Add button or choose an existing tv show and click the Edit button
2. choose TMDB as the Source
3. search for any tv show
4. application crashes instantly without any error

Include whether it happens all the time or just sporadically. Also are there certain shows that it applies to? What other investigation can/have you done?
