Description of Changes

Adds a Ukrainian translation of the frontend, the same way as the other languages in fe_i18n.cpp: the shelf, the options sheet's hints and tabs, the notifications, the RetroAchievements account panel and browser, and the region names. It is picked automatically when the PS5's system language is Ukrainian (language id 30).

File Change
ps5/frontend/fe_i18n.cpp kUkrainian (all 95 entries) and kRegionsUkrainian; language id 30 maps to uk
ps5/frontend/fe_text.cpp The SDF atlas also bakes Cyrillic (U+0400–U+045F) plus Ґ/ґ (U+0490, U+0491). The embedded Roboto already has these glyphs, so no new font
ps5/frontend/fe_i18n.h Comments updated (Cyrillic is no longer missing; uk in the codes)
ps5/frontend/host/achievement_web_test.cpp Language 30 added to the format/key check

Notes on the translation:

  • Every entry keeps the English %d / %s in the same order (SameFormat), so testers can still fix words in /data/PCSX2/lang/uk.txt.
  • Decimal comma and Ukrainian units: 3,9 ГБ, 105 МБ.
  • The one-cover and many-cover notifications use the same wording, so any count still reads correctly.
  • The no-BIOS banner was shortened so the folder path still fits on one line (checked on the shelf, see below).
  • Ґ/ґ are outside the main Cyrillic block and are not used by the current strings. The last screenshot is a fake game title, only to show that glyph.

Screenshots

Rendered with fe_host (--lang 30), 1920×1080.

The option names, values and hints in the sheet (Resolution, On/Off, the description under the list…) stay in English: they come from fe_options.cpp / index.html and are not translated in any language yet.

Rationale behind Changes

Lets Ukrainian-speaking players use the app in their language, the same way as #62 does for Polish.

Suggested Testing Steps

  • ps5/frontend/host/test-achievement-web.sh (language 30 is in the format/key check).
  • fe_host --lang 30: the screenshots above. Run here on Linux through lavapipe, 1920×1080.
  • On a console: set the PS5's system language to Українська and start PS5SX2. Not tested on hardware yet; the PS5 notifications (notify.*) are not covered by the screenshots.

Did you use AI to help find, test, or implement this issue or feature?

Yes. (AI-assisted) An AI assistant rendered the fe_host screenshots and drafted this description.

The shelf, the options sheet, the notifications and the RetroAchievements panel in Ukrainian when the PS5's system language is Ukrainian (id 30), with the region names. Roboto already has Cyrillic: the atlas now bakes U+0400..U+045F plus Ґ/ґ (U+0490, U+0491).
