Dynamic QR Link Generator + Analytics Dashboard

An Ultra lightweight, PHP-based dynamic URL generator with built-in QR code analytics.

Why?

Most free tools were either too slow, limited in functionality, or relied on 301 redirection. This was built to solve that — by hosting the redirector on the same domain/server the QR code points to. This reduces response time significantly because DNS discovery has already occurred. The result is an instant redirect from Page B (Dynamic QR Link) to Page A (your target content), with full analytics.

Uses JSON and JSONL for almost no server overhead — ideal for self-hosted setups.

📊 Analytics

• Logs are saved in logs.jsonl

• dash.php shows:

  • Click history (by timestamp)
  • IP address, coordinates, city, and country
  • Visitor language, referer
  • Device info: OS and browser
  • Interactive world map (Leaflet)

🔐 Dashboard Protection (Optional)

To restrict access to dash.php or the whole path using HTTP Basic Authentication:

Step 1: Create .htpasswd

sudo htpasswd -c /etc/nginx/.htpasswd yourusername

Use -c only when creating the file for the first time. Omit it to add more users later.

Step 2: Edit your Nginx site config

Step 3: Reload Nginx
