[enhancement] scrollbar styling only targets webkit - no Firefox support

[ritaifeoluwa]

In src/app/globals.css:23-38, scrollbar styling uses ::-webkit-scrollbar pseudo-elements which only work in Chromium browsers. Firefox uses scrollbar-width and scrollbar-color.

Hi Maintainer, I'd love to take this one on. I've gone through the codebase and I'm comfortable with the approach needed here. I'll keep the change focused, add tests, and make sure CI stays green. Happy to open a draft early so we can align on direction.

#491 for this one.

Firefox now gets scrollbar-width: thin and scrollbar-color, and the colours moved into custom properties so the two syntaxes cannot drift apart the way they did here — one engine styled, the other forgotten. I checked it against the compiled stylesheet rather than the source. Firefox has no hover state for the thumb, so that stays Chromium-only.

Assign me if you are happy with the approach?

Small and precise: keep the webkit rules for Chromium and add scrollbar-width / scrollbar-color for Firefox in the same block, so both paths sit next to each other and cannot drift apart.

I'll verify the built CSS actually contains both sets, reuse the theme variables rather than hard-coding a second set of colours, and say in the PR whether anything else (Safari, older engines) needs its own treatment — a scrollbar change that silently ignores one engine is what this issue is about.

Hello maintainer, I can handle this issue.

PR #491 covers this: the webkit rules stay, and scrollbar-width / scrollbar-color now sit in the same block so the two paths cannot drift apart. I checked the built CSS actually contains both sets. Anything else that needs its own treatment (Safari, older engines) I would rather raise as a separate issue than fold into this one.
