Why

Updating the plugin after 0.5.0 showed the documented sequence was too long. The Claude Code docs (install: "Update plugins now"; cli-reference: "/plugin in a session"; install: "Manage installed plugins") say that /plugin marketplace update <name> in a session refreshes the marketplace and updates the plugins installed from it, and that closing the /plugin panel runs /reload-plugins for you. The run that prompted this matched: Updated 1 marketplace (1 plugin bumped), then /plugin update shambu@shambu reported "already at the latest version".

What

  • skills/setup/SKILL.md step 5: one command, /plugin marketplace update shambu, then /shambu:setup install. Two fallbacks the docs name: /reload-plugins --force when the reload is left pending (prompt-cache invalidation), /plugin update shambu@shambu when the update reports a plugin it left for you.
  • README: the same in two lines after the install block.
  • Version 0.5.1 in __init__.py, plugin.json and every version literal (CONTRIBUTING: any change under skills/ bumps the version); CHANGELOG entry.

Checks

make check green, tests/test_plugin_manifest.py passes, no code change. The same correction landed in cairn (Shavvimal/cairn#35).
