Open-source, open-hardware DIY high-temperature CoreXY FFF platform.
Valkyrie V2 is a complete redesign of the Valkyrie high-temperature printer platform. The design focuses on structural rigidity, high-temperature operation, serviceability, thermal separation, and automated calibration.
The standard electrical configuration is 220-240 VAC. A 110-120 VAC configuration is possible only with configuration-specific heaters, power supplies, switching devices, wiring, connectors, and circuit protection.
This repository contains Valkyrie V2.0.0-rc.1, the first release candidate for the Valkyrie V2 platform. Recommended operating values are separated from verified prototype results throughout the documentation. Materials and operating conditions that have not yet been validated are identified accordingly.

Recommended values are intended as practical operating limits for the Valkyrie V2 reference configuration. Actual print settings depend on material, nozzle size, layer height, toolhead configuration, cooling, firmware tuning, and operating temperature.
Verified values represent results demonstrated on the Valkyrie V2 reference machine and should not be interpreted as required operating settings for every build.

The tested Valkyrie V2 firmware configuration is included in this repository:
Open Valkyrie V2 Firmware Files
The supplied firmware package contains:
sys– RepRapFirmware configuration, homing, system and safety filesmacros– Valkyrie-specific probing, calibration, nozzle and utility macrosfilaments– material-specific filament configuration, load and unload files
These files are configured for the Valkyrie V2 reference machine and should be used as the basis for the printer firmware setup.
For RepRapFirmware and Duet firmware upgrade procedures, follow the Valkyrie firmware upgrade guide:

Back up the SD card before making firmware or configuration changes.
Machine-specific settings such as input shaping, probe offsets and filament profiles may require adjustment on individual builds.
Validated on the current prototype:
- PLA
- PETG
- ABS
- ASA
- PA and PA-CF
- PC, PC-CF, and PC blend CF
- PPS, PPS-CF, and PPS-GF
Still to be verified:
