In order to use Reference value in your Object Template, You need to create firstly the reference value:

Name: Your reference name

Object Template: Your object to reference

Object Attribute: The attribute to point.

When, you created the reference attribute, you need to specify its value to the Object Template:

You need to manage or create a new Attribute Instance* by specify its Type to Reference and the Reference value to the Reference's Name you want.
