Repins the runtime to makepad main 92a19b67: terminal grapheme clusters with mode 2027 on by default (makepad#66), Kitty keyboard and synchronized output (#67), the WmRequest AsksBeforeClose / CloseRefused close handshake (#68), and Powerline sprites, a bundled Nerd Font, smooth shades, minimum contrast and themeable selection (#69). Part of #179.

  • Octoscript-Makepad 4d743aa6 → ecab2b98, the merge of Repin makepad to main 92a19b67 OctoScript-Makepad#64 (native-runtime.lock.json, apps/appcard/native-runtime.lock.json, Cargo.toml). Its runtime.json also moves Octoscript 76032ed4 → dbd48cfb (its main: the Rinx assistant tools on the chat pane; runtime with self-confirmed tools #51 merge plus manifest pins, no source change), so the Octoscript pins move with it. Cargo.lock is unchanged.
  • Runtime patches: makepad-settings.patch and the stacked makepad-system-back.patch apply to 92a19b67 unchanged, same sha256. None of the 18 files they touch changed between bcb0583b and 92a19b67. Only base_revision and the stacked tree (8ea6c796) change.
  • native-apps.json (sheets, terminal) and the regenerated Cargo.toml block; doc lines naming the release.
  • shell: a process app may refuse a close and ask first (#179) #187's close-word handling compiles unchanged. I tried switching parse_close_word to the typed WmRequest::parse variants and left it out: makepad's DeJson rejects the bare-string form {"wm":"CloseRefused"} that the text matcher accepts (its test covers it), so the change would not keep behaviour identical.

Checks (macOS)

  • python3 tools/setup.py in a fresh worktree, then --check --cargo: clean.
  • cargo check --locked -p octosense: ok.
  • cd phone && cargo test --locked --features mobile-apps -p octosense-shell: 617 passed.
  • cd phone && cargo test --locked --features mobile-apps,app-terminal -p octosense-shell terminal: 14 passed.
  • python3 tools/native_apps.py --check: ok.

Moves Octoscript-Makepad to ecab2b98 (the merge of OctoScript-Makepad#64),
which pins makepad main 92a19b67: terminal grapheme clusters with mode
2027 on by default (#66), Kitty keyboard and synchronized output (#67),
the WmRequest AsksBeforeClose / CloseRefused close handshake (#68), and
Powerline sprites, a bundled Nerd Font, smooth shades, minimum contrast
and themeable selection (#69). Its runtime.json also moves Octoscript to
its main, dbd48cfb (no source change in the crates used here), so the
Octoscript pins move with it. Cargo.lock is unchanged.

The settings and system-back runtime patches apply to 92a19b67 unchanged
(none of their files moved since bcb0583b); only the base revision and
the stacked tree (8ea6c796) change.

App Hub #191 repins App Hub to the same runtime, and with the budget gate
gone a runaway app tool handler still fails at once (a captured-error
sink catches the per-evaluation limit); net alone hands an isolate its
network module. It also brings #186 (components under
wasm-components-v1), #188 (wasi:http and octosense:host admission) and
