The project adopts the Apache License 2.0 ahead of the Agentic App hackathon, which requires submissions to be Apache-2.0 licensed.

What changed

  • LICENSE added (canonical Apache-2.0 text).
  • NOTICE added (Copyright 2026 The OctoSense Authors).
  • license = "Apache-2.0" added to catalog/rust and probe/rust.
  • The README Licence section changes from "MIT OR Apache-2.0, matching makepad" to Apache-2.0.

Third-party code that keeps its license

  • Many of the vector drawables in catalog/app/src/main/res/drawable come from the material-components-android catalog. They keep their original "Copyright The Android Open Source Project" headers, and their license is Apache-2.0.
