Artificial Intelligence Club at Ohio State (AI @ OSU)

An elegant, high-performance, and feature-rich official web application for the Artificial Intelligence Club at Ohio State (AI @ OSU). This platform serves as the central hub for student-led innovation, workshops, academic events, the semi-annual Projects Incubator, and the premier annual HackAI event.

📚 Developer & AI-agent documentation lives in docs/. Editing site content? Go straight to docs/content-and-data.md — nearly every string, date, link, and roster on the site is a named export somewhere under src/data/.

🎨 Creative Architecture & Key Features

  • Interactive Hero Canvas: An elegant, responsive, and performance-optimized interactive neural network background canvas representing node connectivity and signal pulses.
  • The Projects Incubator Program: An interactive, dynamic projects panel with keyword searches, technology filtering (e.g., CV, NLP, RL), detailed architecture deep-dives modal, and online student program registration or lead project proposal pitch forms.
  • Integrated Scrambled Typography: Dynamic text scramble animations on primary pages and titles using fluid tracking and a unified Roboto type system.
  • HackAI Centerstage: A customized dashboard highlighting previous years' metrics, upcoming deadlines, interactive registration wizards, and scheduled tracks.
  • Academic Events Hub: A filterable events calendar displaying current speaker sessions, research workshops, and social mixers — synced automatically from the club's Google Calendar at build time, so officers add events in one place and the site follows.
  • Fluid Responsive Layout: Built screen-agnostically styled with Tailwind CSS, touch-safe interactives, custom scroll draw SVG paths, and a dark twilight color profile paired with rich carbon slate accents.
