+This module periodically checks the connection status of incoming and
+outgoing mail servers to detect failures early. It displays prominent
+notifications to administrators whenever a mail server configuration
+stops working.
+
+It uses the **``web_notify``** module (from
+`OCA/web <https://github.com/OCA/web>`__) to display sticky
+notifications. It also creates a chatter channel for the same.
