Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Node.js 18+
• npm or yarn
• OpenWeatherMap API key

Installation

1. Clone the repository

   git clone https://github.com/your-username/weatherwave.git
   cd weatherwave

2. Install dependencies

   npm install

3. Configure API

   • Get a free API key from OpenWeatherMap
   • Update app/api.js with your API key

4. Run development server

   npm run dev

5. Open application

   • Main app: http://localhost:3001
   • Widget: http://localhost:3001/widget

Android Widget Installation

1. Open Chrome on your Android device
2. Navigate to your deployed URL (e.g., https://weatherwave.vercel.app/widget)
3. Tap menu (⋮) → "Add to Home screen"
4. Confirm installation - WeatherWave appears as a widget
5. Enjoy instant weather insights from your home screen!
