fix(autoscaler): release distributed locks only for their owner - #2418

Use a Cassandra conditional delete in DistributedLockGuard::drop so an expired guard cannot delete a lock reacquired by another node. Keep the retry conditional and add statement and integration regression coverage. Signed-off-by: Hossein Dehghan <hossien14988@gmail.com>
Carry the lock owner identity in DistributedLockGuard and use Cassandra LWT conditional deletes in drop and retry paths. Prevent an expired guard from removing a lock that another node acquired. Signed-off-by: Hossein Dehghan <hossien14988@gmail.com>
Replace the editor-generated whitespace-only diff with the repository-formatted statements file. Signed-off-by: Hossein Dehghan <hossien14988@gmail.com>

- Line 32: Update the lock deletion statement and its acquisition/guard flow to
store and compare a unique per-acquisition token instead of relying only on
node_id; preserve the same token when refreshing a lock so a stale guard cannot
delete a later acquisition.

Thanks for the detailed review. I reworked the ownership check around a per-acquisition I verified the relevant code paths and statement bindings locally. I have not run the full ScyllaDB integration suite in this environment yet, so I’m leaving the migration/integration result open for the repository CI to confirm. |
TL;DR
Prevent an expired
DistributedLockGuardfrom deleting a lock that has already been reacquired by another autoscaler node.Problem
The guard previously released the lock by key alone. If the guard outlived its Cassandra row TTL and another node acquired the same lock, the stale guard could later delete the new owner's lock.
What changed
DELETE ... IF node_id = ?.The existing acquisition and refresh paths remain conditional; this closes the stale-release window without changing lock names, TTLs, or acquisition semantics.
