I'm experiencing playback issues regarding EAC3 Atmos and Dolby Vision. The app seems to trigger a transcode for DV Profile 8 files, which strips the Atmos metadata and sometimes breaks the DV layer (falling back to SDR). Even when DirectPlaying an HDR10 file with EAC3 Atmos, the Atmos metadata is not passed through to my audio equipment (it just plays as standard EAC3/DD+).
Playback 1 (Log: 10:29:03 UTC): Played a DV Profile 8 file with EAC3 Atmos.
Result: Server triggered "playMethod":"Transcode". The video played in DV, but the Atmos metadata was stripped (played as standard EAC3).
Playback 2 (Log: 10:31:17 UTC): Played an HDR10 file with EAC3 Atmos.
Result: Server triggered "playMethod":"DirectPlay". The video correctly played in HDR10, but Atmos still did not pass through (played as standard EAC3).
Playback 3 (Log: 10:32:53 UTC): Played another DV Profile 8 file with EAC3 Atmos.
Result: Server triggered "playMethod":"Transcode". This time DV failed completely and fell back to SDR, and Atmos was stripped again.

Thanks for the detailed report and the log.
LG TVs before webOS 25 can't play Dolby Vision from an MKV, so for those files Moonfin asks the server to remux them into a stream the TV can show in Dolby Vision. The video is copied, not re-encoded, but Jellyfin still labels that "Transcode". Your first playback kept Dolby Vision, so that part worked as intended.
The third file fell back to SDR, which means the server re-encoded its video instead of copying it. Your log shows it took the same path as the first file with no errors. One difference is its bitrate, about 25 Mbps against about 20 Mbps for the first. Could you check:
your HDR10 file direct played, which means the TV got the original file untouched, and Atmos still didn't come through. So the audio is being lost between the TV and your receiver rather than in Moonfin. On the C1, check that Settings > Sound > Advanced Settings > Digital Sound Output is set to Passthrough, and that eARC is on if your receiver supports it. Does the same file play in Atmos in another app on that TV?

Here is a direct stream with some problem with mkv embedded srt:
Stuck loading for 1min, gave up and removed subtitle and it started direct and says DV and Atmos in tight corner.

About Atmos, I dont have external speaker on that TV. Tested passtrough Auto, Manual (choose Formats) and Disabled (always decode on this devide) and same result. Atmos should be activated on TV. It says Atmos when playing media in the tight corner. Tracearr still says Eac3 Atmos -> Eac3.
No problem for me. Just wanted to report If others want it fixed.
