What changed
The launcher now resolves explicit config, data, cache, state, session, and log roots for each supported desktop platform.
Why
Windows and Linux cannot safely inherit macOS path assumptions. One canonical resolver keeps storage ownership explicit before platform packaging is added.

--user-data-dirfixtures always win, each platform has deterministic roots, and the application never guesses across platform stores.Delivery
