ACP agents advertising native _session/steering can now receive Matrix follow-ups during a running turn without cancelling tools. The bridge requests promptRequired idle behavior and appends the message once through the normal prompt path when it races with turn completion.

Add optional [harness.config_options] select values, applied and acknowledged before new or resumed prompts. This lets deployments explicitly choose Maple Work's model without accepting the first advertised default. Existing configs serialize identically when options are omitted. Include a generic Maple example and document provider-owned history and connection limits.

Validation: pinned Nix formatting, warnings-denied all-feature/all-target Clippy, and all 89 offline tests passed on macOS and Ubuntu; the Linux release build also passed. New protocol fixtures cover advertised steering, injection while a tool remains active, idle-race continuation, resumed model configuration, and rejection before prompting when the provider does not acknowledge the model or steering capability. Both hosted macOS and Ubuntu checks passed. Authenticated live Maple interoperability remains a separate rollout check; the production provider has not been changed by this source merge.
