The October 20 RustSec advisories identify certificate chains through compromised emSign intermediate keys that older TLS dependencies can accept. Research, Agent, Rust SDK, and proxy lockfiles resolve rustls-webpki 0.103.16 and webpki-roots/webpki-root-certs 1.0.10 where present. OpenSecret was already patched.
Addresses RUSTSEC-2026-0382 and, where present, RUSTSEC-2026-0381/RUSTSEC-2026-0383 without adding advisory exceptions or changing application versions.
Validation: Research, SDK, and proxy cargo-deny advisories/bans with all features and locked resolution passed. Root nix flake check passed on aarch64-darwin. SDK library tests: 119 passed, 1 ignored. Proxy all-feature tests and local Rust dependency wiring verification passed. Full desktop/mobile/Agent packaging and runtime checks were not run; the broad pre-commit hook was skipped for this lockfile-only patch.
