Default (non-prebuilt) cxx-ladybug target references files that aren't in the repo #12
Summary: PR #11 fixed the swift-docc-plugin branch/tag error from #9, but the same PR bumped LBUG_VERSION to 0.21.2 and regenerated the source manifest via collect-ladybug-src.py. The regenerated manifest lists ~1,183 files under Sources/cxx-ladybug/ladybug/... for the default (non-prebuilt) target — but that directory doesn't exist in the repo. .gitignore confirms it's intentional: # Generated by collect-ladybug-src.py / Sources/cxx-ladybug/ladybug/. It's a local-only artifact your script generates (via a full CMake build against the submodule) and never commits.
Impact: Anyone adding this package the normal way (.package(url:branch:) with LBUG_USE_PREBUILT unset, which is the default) gets a target whose source files were never pushed. Affects both platforms, but hits iOS harder — macOS has the prebuilt escape hatch, iOS has none.
Repro: add the package fresh, no env var set, build fails — sources missing.
Suggested fixes: commit the generated tree (or a trimmed version) so the default path is self-contained; or default LBUG_USE_PREBUILT to true; for iOS specifically, a prebuilt xcframework seems like the only real path forward since there's no escape hatch today.
