I'm an experienced technology professional whose career spans enterprise mainframe systems and modern data engineering.
I started my career working with technologies including COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, IMS, and VSAM, supporting large-scale enterprise applications in highly regulated environments. More recently, I've expanded that experience into Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, PySpark, data engineering, analytics, APIs, and modern application development.
Through the intensive Data Engineering program at Zip Code Wilmington, I strengthened those skills by building data-driven applications, working with relational databases, developing APIs, analyzing large datasets, and collaborating on full-stack engineering projects.
I don't see my mainframe experience and modern development skills as two separate careers. They're part of the same one.

Before moving deeper into modern data engineering, I spent much of my career developing and supporting enterprise systems in the insurance and financial services industries.
My experience includes application development, data integration, production support, requirements analysis, regulatory and compliance reporting, data reconciliation, modernization initiatives, and technical leadership.
That background gives me a perspective that extends beyond writing code: I understand how technology supports business operations, how data moves through complex enterprise systems, and why reliability, accuracy, maintainability, and communication matter.
