    Thanks for the request! SOLIDWORKS files (.sldprt, .sldasm, .slddrw, .prtdot, .sldlfp) use a closed format that can't be read without SOLIDWORKS. That's why #194 was closed as not planned, and this is the same request.

    What works today:

    • In SOLIDWORKS, or the free eDrawings Viewer, save the part or drawing as PDF, STL or STEP.
    • Filee converts STL to OBJ, 3MF, GLB and PLY, and to pictures (PNG, JPG). PDF goes to pictures as well.

    Closing as a duplicate of #194.
