• Tarball: built in a clean node:24.20.0 container with the CI install steps, then npm pack. It contains 49 files (same count as got@11.8.6 on npm): only dist/source, package.json, readme.md and license, no tests. 68 KB packed, 269 KB unpacked.

• Smoke test of the installed tarball (refused connection with retry.limit: 2, pipeline(request, got.stream(), response), cache option):

• Override syntax from the readme: checked with got@11 → npm:got@11.8.5 in a project that depends on html-get. npm overrides and pnpm.overrides both resolve the nested got to the alias. The @kikobeats/got alias can only be checked once it's published.

• The readme note was extended with the pnpm example after the tarball was built. Only the readme text differs.

Publishing (manual, after merge)

From a clean checkout of v11:
