Fix plugin.audio.mp3streams broken <assets> paths #19

Question

plugin.audio.mp3streams/addon.xml declares <icon>icon.png</icon> and <fanart>fanart.jpg</fanart>, but the icon actually lives at art/icon.png and no fanart file exists anywhere in the addon. Modern Kodi resolves pre-install art only from <assets> paths (no filename fallback — see docs/research/kodi-repo-artifact-format.md §4), so the addon shows no icon in the addon browser — on the live server today as well. Surfaced as a WARN by tools/build_repo.py while resolving the build-script prototype.

Fix: point <icon> at art/icon.png and remove the <fanart> entry (or add a real fanart), bumping the addon version per convention. Small PR; no pipeline changes needed.

    Resolution

Fixed in PR #22 (branch worktree-fix-mp3streams-assets):

    • <icon> now points at art/icon.png (where the file actually lives)
    • <fanart>fanart.jpg</fanart> removed — no fanart file exists anywhere in the addon
    • version bumped 2026.05.26 → 2026.07.06, news entry prepended per convention

Verified with tools/build_repo.py: the previous WARN is gone and art/icon.png is copied into the main channel datadir, so the icon will show in the addon browser once the next bundle ships.
